This week was nice. I avoided the sorry rng >.2% "wins" where my opponent received 4-5 crits in a row which made the contest much more pleasant. Couple that with a weaker than normal group of 101 players where the gems made it impossible for the group to have maxed teams with the very best blessings and look what I got: Yay me! 🥳 This weeks top 15 by class: KH = 4, CH = 2, HC = 9 (yup, a week where being HC was a good thing) Have fun everyone, c'ya on the flip side 😃

Good to be in Top 4 which still results in a good netto win of kobans. I used 2 mythic boosters and mostly 2 ginseng/1 cordy legendary. I had some light hopes to win this, but at the end the others just did better/invested more. They won 20+ times, so seems like they know what is necessary. I usually have a good team and lvl 500 comes closer, so I hope for a good next week.

Not the best week for me this time. I had terrible blessings, and I don't have enough lvl 750 Mythic girls to make a full team, so I only had ~147k TP. It was a 102 players league (303 possible fights), which means I needed to refill to finish. With my 16 remaining fights, I needed a 21.7 avg to reach 15th, and considering my general average is around 20, I didn't risk it (Also, I was too busy sniping contests). So I finished 24th with 287/303 fights done. 20.13 avg, 5777 points. No screenshot; too many things required my attention in the last minutes.

(too many HearthStone characters to name ^^) Okay, long story short: I managed to both underestimate and overestimate some of my opponents at the same time. ^^ Underestimated the power level of a fair few of them. Overestimated how well the other contenders would actually play. GetOverHere was definitely in a top 4 contending position on paper, but it's far from the first time he's in my league lately and I note him as a contender but he ends up misplaying his way out of top 4 (he might not be trying, to be fair). But there were a handful of other players with strong teams on paper in both phases, but especially in Phase 2, which offered far weaker blessings overall. And I'm the only one who saw this coming and focused on Phase 1 at all (granted, my specific line-ups pushed me in that direction, but yeah, top teams in Phase 1 were much much more potent than those of Phase 2, basically 180k+ vs 150-160k give or take). Especially with such a large group, I fully expected scores to go much higher, and my #1 temp position to eventually be contested or even flat out erased. But no. The three who sit by my side in the final top 4 all rushed the hell out of the final couple of hours, which was far from ideal, and even though two of them had near-top teams with strong blessed level 750 girls, they wouldn't have beaten my score even if I hadn't used my last 3 fights. Which I did last minute, for once, because... Special mention to Uxio for burning 3 cordys a day seemingly without using them (at least in League). I've spent the entire week waiting for him specifically to lose the boosters (he was temp #2 most of the week behind me). He never did (or at least I never had a snapshot of him unboosted), and it was 3 cordys a day throughout the week. That would have been wasteful even for a win. For a top 4, still way overkill. Finishing #5 like this... ouch. Oh well, he cost me a bit of future XP by making me take one loss, at least. But is that worth 21 cordyceps on its own? Ich don't think so. ^^ Anyhow, my 7th D3 win. And the first one ever with my still recent "don't waste kobans" policy. It was a little bit of a gamble, but I'm glad I took the chance. 🚬 Good luck have fun this week, folks. Stay safe!

Ranking based on levels was 71/103. Ended up 16th with 6208 points (mean 20.29). Again a little short of 15th, ~40 points this time). Used 1x 3cordy, 3gin for rest Def teams 181k & 153k. Strong team for 1st half and for 2nd not so much. So the go-to strategy would be to do all fights on the 1st half. For me this is too expensive as I'm not fighting for the top positions. Bought two refills to leverage the better team and cordys from previous week. In hindsight a couple more would have done the trick. Also, didn't catch last three opponents unboosted, which could have worked out better. Need to come up with some metrics to gauge my own changes against the field. It's more difficult in the middle of the pack. The top is easier - here the biggest surprise was that Master HornDog changed his avatar 😜

Refills: 9.93, costing -1876 kos (~149 fights). Profit: +527 kos or +2510 kos (if ignoring the 1.5k kos ImLive Promo & CbC AME) Player Lvl: 468->470 Girl Lvl Cap: 750 Defeats: 2/306 303 fights Opponents: 102 101 (A player was banned). Offense: 173.88k & 146.36k balanced. Defense: same as offense. L5 Girl: Elphiba recruited last week. My highest score and avg to date. I was ranked 1st from days 3-6, and finished 6th in the end. I was aiming for my first top 4, and finished -73 points short of it. Used ~10 refills in the first half, b/c I had a ~174k team, and knew I'd drop to ~141k in the 2nd half. I used the 1.5k kos from the ImLive Promo, to pay for most of the refills. My AME was from a CbC day 3, which cost me 438 kos (73 CC fights), so I'll count it. I only used 90% of it at the end, b/c I absentmindedly used 10 fights w/ it on seasons, for a daily goal. If I don't count the ImLive promo's 1.5k kos, or the CbC AME, then I really spent 376 kos, for 2510 kos profit. Recognized @MrXY (3rd) & @FGoog (9th, aka "Not Playing RightNow"), as forum members. I know of FGoog from the Pantheon Wall thread. I noticed MrXY used most of his refills in the 2nd half, and I don't think FGoog used any refills at all. "Not Playing RightNow" might've profited the most out of the 3 of us. The player "YanDee" (ID 3013134) was banned 6 days into the league week (Sept 20th), and he was the only player I didn't fight, disappearing, and taking a potential 75 points away from me. I spent 12 hrs un-boosted waiting for his boosters to expire, to equip 3 cords, and score a bit higher. I discussed it in this thread in the Questions section. It's true that a few players had 20+ 1st place victories. Maybe if I paid more attention to that, I wouldn't have attempted a top 4. Here's the scores over the past week, at 6-12 hr intervals. The last one is the final hour to the last 30 seconds. Now, I have 11k kos & 5 SP, enough to guarantee getting High Mage Arcana (24%) from her MDR tomorrow, which is satisfactory. I've been focusing on leveling up Love Note Jezebel (lvl 650) and Jezebel (lvl 650), b/c both variants are blessed for the next two weeks. I have a 146k team atm, and I expect a 151k team next week, not optimistic enough to aim high. I'm level 470 now, and ~6.89 mil PXP away from reaching level 500, probably by next March 2023. I'll attempt using 1 cord + 2 gins throughout the next league week, and minimal refills, for 2x top 15s. @Zteev is in my league this week. Good luck to the both of us.

Congrats to FrostBurn1 for his easy victory. Relampago, Iwdono and Fran left me out of top4 this week. Unfortunately I have bad blessings this week, so I couldn't reach a good average.

It was my first attempt ever to a top4, I tried, I failed. End of story. Thanks for the spotlight though, I suppose.

RedEagle seemed to actually be trying a little in this league, so I showed who's boss. I expected a good blessings change and it did of course deliver, but in retrospect it looks like I could have gone even harder. Blessings 1st week: +25% for Voyeur, +30% for Dark Pink hair 2nd week: +20% for Mythic, +25% for Splitting Bamboo Defense teams used 1st week: 171431.13 total power. darkness2-psychic2-water1-stone1-fire1 consisting of Lovebot Norou, Royal Housemaid, Matcha, Undercover Valentina, Darla, Nike and Norou. 22.15 is the maximum average one could get against it. 2nd week: 192514.43 total power. darkness2-stone2-nature2-fire1 consisting of Matcha, Royal Housemaid, Level up Red, Undercover Valentina, Alexa, Golden Lupa and Druiada Titania. 21.898 is the maximum average one could get against it. Statistics # of opponents: 102 My score: 7395 (99.96% of the score with completely average luck) Expected score: 7398.2 If I had been using the following booster combinations for the duration of the league but with the same fight timing decisions, these would have been my completely average luck scores: AME+3cor 7400.2 AME+2cor,1gin 7380.2 AME+1cor,2gin 7342.5 AME+2gin,1chlo 7268.5 3 cordy 7233.3 2 cordy, 1 gin 7200.1 Perfect precognition score with average luck and AME+3cor throughout: 7467.15 (24.402 average). The AME+3cor expectation was 99.103% of this.

There was a little hope for a better place, but the guys with full lvl750 teams had the better arguments. Had used 2 AM Booster and allways Cordyceps. Well, hope for the next League.

Use HH++ 😁 There the doubeling at matching pose will not be shown and they have an aditional sign if a girl has a potential matching pose even she is not at the right place. For example. I'm with you that they had a solid idea but a bad implementation. Showing that a girl has a matching pose at a postition is positiv, but they had done only half of the work. Again the script is the helper in the need.

Now back to the fun part ( I know a double post but I wanted to keep the fun and the depressing stuff seperate ) : 6th D3 win in a row on hh.com .. cheap and easy 4th on nutaku everything just as planned (even though I didn´t expect to have to score this high to win this league but well) .. I wish I could get a easy league for once, one of those @bolitho76 some of the other regulars got lately.. speaking of the devil (it´s just a phrase ok :P) I´m with bolitho this week so I guess it´ll be the 7th win in a row (even though you already said you prob won´t make top 4 I´m still rooting for you @bolitho76 )

Yours truly finally apppeared (well 30min ago but there was a wall of text including my name so I had to read that first ), I don´t feel like continuing the ..big missunderstanding , I guess? .. so I´ll keep it short: 1. The "buddy" part: I didn´t know that it´s used in those ways.. I just use is in a not agressive way for the record. I guess I´m using it more in the "German" way so well there´s that. 2. Our Chucky boy: Since Chuck did cross a line I won´t say anything about the little time out (well chuck´s .. chuck I guess..that´s just the way he is I´m sure all of the other club mates (that also lost a few nerves trying to explain to him why he still hasn´t won the like 2 days ago) can agree on, but still even though this topic is mostly a screenshot collection nowadays it definitely didn´t start as such and there´s still the ocassional "non screenshot" talking here which is totally fine imho, and even if some of us would like to just spam their likes on screenshot we have to accept the rest of the pvp relevant posts here too. the 3. part which is somewhat what got all of the rest going -> Uxio: that´s a part I don´t agree on. I´m not going to make a scene but that´s was too much from your side @DvDivXXX. Uxio was away from the game a few weeks in august so he had to climb back up to D3 and wanted to see how big the gap between him and us veterans is, just for fun. There´s nothing wrong with that nor his post (which was fairly nice after your comment about him to say the least). This is also why @EpicBacon started the rest of the disscussion. They´re my club mates so I might be biased but still you can´t expect others to be all nice and friendly while you comments on them can easily be "misunderstood" ( take the buddy chase as an example). That´s all I´m saying .. I don´t want to further derail this tread.. all I can say is that I´m happy to call all of them club mates ( even chuck I guess?.. well maybe .. he´s certainly a different view on the game I´ll give him that ). I´m the club leader that´s true but I don´t see why I have to enforce my way of playing to others .. everybody´s welcomed to play the way they want to even if it´s totally ludacris to me it´s still their choice (don´t worry I told chuck that several times already ) if I see something wrong or there´s a "discussion" involving any of the club mates I try to mediate but I tend to keep that in private. CbC #29 - Trina Dizzy from Guilty Gear X. Had her already. I got a top 30, and 2x top 15s. This one was tough, and had heightened difficulty, b/c of overlap w/ either daily contests, the LC and/or the PoV. Plus, poorly timed "free" platinum cards given out to wallet warriors. Plus, there was 1.5k kos given out from an ImLive promo, and ~35 gift codes, w/ extra orbs, gems, and tickets. All that inflated the DC, LC, and CbC scores. A dual pachinko on the first day (DC + CbC), plus contests counting towards the LC, made it super difficult to rank high. That, plus my low orb count, made me settle for a top 30 spot. Didn't wanna waste too many orbs, before the LC's pachinko, the next day. Spent ~6k gems on the 2nd day, enough for a top 15, by awakening Love Note Jezebel and Jezebel to lvl 650, since both variants are blessed 2 weeks in a row. A normal outcome. The 3rd day was also chaotic. This time, b/c of overlap w/ the LC and PoV. Plus, some paying players got a free platinum card, making it easy to claim 1st place, w/ unlimited champion ticket skips. I avoided competing in this one, but still ended up spending 108 kos, on 18 CC fights, to claim a top 15 spot. That's about the cost of 2-3 market refills, but for 80k GXP. I think it was worth it. I used it already, on leveling up Bunna and Magical Noemy for LC day 4. Art by ricegnat.

I don't really have any opinion on this either way; I didn't intend this to be a big thing, I just saw how you mentioned Uxio especially, and I think the wording used in that post was not the best and felt like it was more of an attack then advice. Not sure about the topic you used for this post tho; as it seems to make it look like there is a big feud or something here. 2) Formatting. Okay, you don't like my formatting; that's fair, its not something i spent much time on, and no, I did not use notepad or any external programs. I am not sure editing, stealth or not is the best idea when quoting someone, since if you do, it opens the door for further editing. You did mention that you did edit my formatting; and while I haven't read it word for word, I have not seen anything else changed. For this topic, I don't really care, this is not really a big thing, but I would probably refrain from doing that with posts, especially if its a more important one, as opening the door to editing, is usually not a great thing; and that can take away from the discussion in the first place. 3) the post itself, as I said, when I did read it the first time It came across as overly hostile. "How dare you not drop your boosters so I can get a full 25 pts from you" I don't care about swearing, I use it all the time; this "call-out" just felt like it contained malice. This is why I questioned if there was some previous history here, as it did not feel like this was justified, It had to be more then just going full boosters all the time. I don't know much about your writing/comment style, but from what I have gathered it does seem somewhat confrontational; and I don't think that one should necessarily think that most people who come across a comment by you should know and or think this is your normal type of writing. I surely didn't, hence why I did comment on it. I've had "disagreements" with George back in the day; I even shared a club with him. So yeah I do know some how he writes and comments on things; still does not mean that I agree with his style of writing, and I have mentioned that to him, and it usually ended with him telling me to fuck off, or to go read the damn patch notes. 4) Using boosters "wrong" or seeing that someone uses it wrong and calling out, or being called out on it is fine. I just did not agree with the way you did it, as mentioned before, it came across to me as overly negative. We don't need that in the game, we get enough of that from KK. Yes you do not work for KK, but as I said; Mods words carry more weight; and there are those who belive that you do have some sort of connection to KK. Like if I was questioning if I wanted to continue with this game, and I tried to do well in league only for someone to come along and tell me to stop wasting my time and get gud, that would not be benefical in my experience of the game, and would surely not make me incentiviced to continue. Please note that the above sentence here is purely an example, I have no idea about certain peoples experience with the game, KK and whatnot. As for your interactions with Holy, I cannot speak of those, as I have no information; and I try to stay out of things I am not privy too.

I was also 1st for like 4 days, and finished 6th. I feel your pain. I expected to drop though. Redacted, lol. Now, I'm most interested in the parts you tried to omit.

Day 03 a cheap 29 place for me with 10K points from club champions i was absent almost the whole day so i did not really participate..

No trifecta like Liliat, unfortunately. I was really cursing at Zamio for sniping me out of top 4 in the last hour or so, but then he got a taste of his own medecine (plus I wouldn't have had the tickets to burn, let alone the kobans, to beat wuhe in this anyway, which was a relief). Still a decent yield (but thankfully I didn't invest all this just for this one, the other two contests made up for it).

Yeah, that was pretty sweet. No trifecta, but still worth my investment overall. Sorry, Bolitho, I only noticed you were in my bracket when I took my screenshot after it was over. ^^ I was only mildly concerned Miccia might want to take a "revenge" on me through this contest for cutting them off from making bad beat posts on the forum, to be honest. Otherwise, this is exactly the type of bracket I'd love to get all the time. ^^

Calling out people for trying to do well in a league, then saying its a waste of time and resources does seems kind of shitty, Especially coming from a mod; who should be above this, and should be setting a good example to others.

yeah my nutaku is my f2p acc .. no season pass no mod kobans no optimal play just f2p chill ..I´m not even lvl 750 there (still need like 8mio xp for that ^^) so it´s 2nd-4th and I´d rather take a 4th for 4 cordys than a 2nd for full cordy and AM all week

You are absolutely right about the fact that I was poking you by saying buddy to you and I'll explain myself on this if you'll let me. I never posted here in this thread before because I knew I wasn't good enough for it and then it would be trolling but my buddies in the club that I'm a member of have helped me big time to get a lot better and I now understand the whole thing with the colors, I even choose a different team if I need to for every single opponent and select the right girls to counter their girls so I've learned a lot in a very short amount of time and I upped my dedication to the leagues big time. If I had not done that and didn't get the help from the club and didn't keep on holding the first place during the whole week I wouldn't even dare to post in this thread. So please don't see me as a troll and trolling this thread because I'm simply not, I was just so proud that I finally was doing good in D2 and the fact that I was holding on first place during the whole week which to me personally is an accomplishment on itself and I'm pretty proud of having done that so I thought this was the right time to post in this thread so I hope you understand and that the poking was meant in a bit of a naughty way and not to get you upset. And I do realize that you left the post up for educational purposes so that's why I have thought about my wordings here to help the good cause, I hope we can still call each other buddy, or pal, or mate but in a good way. @DvDivXXX There's no scheme to artificially make that Club better. I swear XD. You can esily figure it out by the evidence I was accepted. Ad I'm not shining for quality gameplay. The 'whale' you quoted twice he's a funny individual that decide to invest to avoid spending so much time in the game. Surely not to make other people life harder (I think he have some grudge on Gogeta for reasons anyway XD). I met him for long in the Season before he switched to whale mode, and wasn't nothing particular (maybe he won the lottery, who knows). And @holymolly... we don't take him *so* seriously the whole time...someone doesn't at all... About the ongoing discussion, can you believe it? I think you're right. I know Chuck and he's sometime so hyped that's out of control and barely read when focused on his goals. And I know that Uxio stuff was just to notify a curious fact happened in that League, not to hint or suggest (you asked yourself why someone had to spend 21 cordy... that's legit to me). You are the only mod that actually 'moderate' in this Forum along Finder. And moderation mean control. I'll moderate like you are if I was called for. But if it's going to spread to his clubmates, I'll have to clarify. "Buddy" =/= "friend" or "dude" (originally US but now very global) or "mate" (still 100% Brit). I won't give a whole lesson here, but basically in everyday spoken English, you'll only ever see "buddy" used positively when talking to a pet or a small child. In 99% of cases when you call someone "buddy", you're provoking them (if you're fluent in English and know the nuance), especially at the end of the sentence. It's similar to "pal" in this regard. Anyways. I'll leave the posts above because they're kind of educative. Chuck, you used to be a player who deliberately slowed down their game progression to stay seemingly forever stuck in the early game, and that was original but absolutely fine. It's touching a lot of players and it has nothing to do with the error 500 initially even if it leads to it. It has been reported and is currently being investigated. I hope it'll be resolved soon

That's a lot more likely to happen. Inactive players don't appear in the leagues, but if they become active again, they can immediately join a league. So they will appear in one of the active leagues.

Glad for you, Personally I'm quite of the exact opposite opinion. For sure I appreciate the fact that now it clearly shows when a girl is in the right place with matching positions. The umpteenth change in girls' shown value (change that wasn't really needed, may I say?) bothers me a little, but it is only a matter of habit, in the end, with time I'll get used to the new numbers and it won't be really a problem anymore The fact that a girl with matching position now has her shown value doubled annoys me quite a bit, I must say, 'cause it inevitably slows down the redrafting process, reducing the immediacy of the comparison of the strenght of the various girls in the current available draft. It is not a new mechanics (girls with matching position had already their impact doubled, once into the performance), and yes, it is a very simple x2 (or /2) we're talking about, and not rocket science, but still, the direct comparison without any calculations needed (even simple as they are) was better, imho. EDIT: I get that it makes more immediatly clear the comparison between an underleveled girl with matching position and fully upgraded girls with non-matching positions. I was referring to the comparison between two (or more) girls that have the same position, thing to which I pay more attention to when redrafting.

You are trolling now, @DvDivXXXexplained that this thread is just for final league positions, not for bragging how well you think you are doing during the week. If you have a serious question about why, create a thread in Q&A, if you want to brag post in Chit-Chat. As for why you are still top, as @Ravi-Samasaid you have used extra fights (18 to be precise). Which is a good idea if there are good targets to fight, but it will give you a higher score then people who don't use re-fills. So when you come to the last day or two and can't battle because you've used all your fights, others will catch you up and possibly pass you. If you stay top, well played. But if you don't, learn from the experience.
