  1. yes that is what he did. You figure that people save up 5000+ kobans to do epic, this is for a guaranteed girl, and maybe epic/legendary gear you might be able to use. Some people like myself who haven't progressed far into the game often use the kobans to refresh battle points to try and get event girls, because your sacrificing 5000 kobans for a 100% girl, plus maybe some gear. Others might spend those 5000 kobans on trying to get event girls, which you have an ok chance to get, which is also getting a girl, plus you get money instead of gear (even with dark lord at 5000ish each, that's maybe 500 extra battles x 5000 = minimum money 2,500,000 money you might spend on shop items. On higher maybe grunt that's maybe 3-4 million. So, gear, or money. But that's it for me really, all this time trying to get boss drops from world 4 and then 5, its just spinning wheels doing nothing. My monthy card is finished, it was a chore just waiting enough for it to run out. So that's it everyone. You all have fun, hope you get good random luck for the drops. I didn't, so not going to keep on doing zilch each day.
  2. upward of 400+ battles, still can't get dark lord to drop... Wasted all kobans, still nothing.. wasn't planning on playing any more anyway, a girl drop game with no drops, not worth the time. 1 day 6 hours left on 30 day pass, that will be the last one. So figured id refresh all the kobans out anyway.. yep, still nothing. Almost finished with this no-drop girl drop game.
  3. even more so when they don't even drop for you. Hard to catch up with girls when you don't get the event girls even when spending thousands of kobans. Hard to catch up with boss girls when you never get them to drop for you. Yes, very hard to catch up at all with a game that doesn't drop girls. The only ones you usually get are the ones GIVEN 100% to you for playing. world girls, event completion girls, 10x epic girls. Sadly for many the only way to actually get the girls to drop is the ones that are 100% given to you lol. 3 days left there old game, then bye bye customer. Already 300 or so battle with Gruntt, zilch again.
  4. I also found this post one of the best ive seen in a long while, logical, unique, and like most good ones you go "mmm wonder why no one thought of that yet." I 100% approve of the idea, and already have my basic gear for when I switch when I'm not on, so nice job thinking this up.
  5. yea going to take some balance to figure it out. For instance, if you drop your main stat with gear, picking up multi stat gear that lowers your main damage but increases your harmony chance effect by a lot. You'll do less main damage but process your ability more. But lets say your ability is double damage. Just how much more are you doing if you go from 25% to 50% harmony, but dropping your base damage a lot. You do double damage 50% of the time, but your lower base damage might mean you're doing the same damage overall. Just something to figure out. Me, i'm keeping 2 sets of gear, 1 for main stat boost like before, and 1 multi legendary gear. Interesting to test them out, maybe can switch based on the gear your opponent has.
  6. they need a progressive system or they won't keep customers. Period. If your a paying customer, in a game that you collect harem girls, and you go through the quests and worlds and don't get boss drops, why are you playing a girl drop game that doesn't drop girls. Just like me, went through world 4, nothing, going through world 5, half way through. I have 6 days left in my monthy card. My first monthy card, and if I still don't get boss drops, will be my last. Simple as that. There isn't any reason for me to play a girl-drop game for a month without any girls dropping. It's a waste of time. There isn't any reason you should go through 2 worlds, all the quests, using extra kobans to try and get drops, and still not getting drops. That is how you lose your customers developers. Fix your game.
  7. yep harmony is the new critical system. Instead of doing a critical hit, it will do a function depending on what your build main is. You can also increase it with items, boosts, and "balancing" your stats. Some benefits... can reach high harmony compared to the old 25% max critical system. This lets you use your special abilities more in battles. double damage, healing, blocking attacks, depending on your main focus. This also has change how equipment works, especially the legendary "all" gear, which boosts everything. Before, a high piece of gear solely in your focus (hardcore) was better than a high piece of gear that boosted everything. Now, since harmony is based on your 3 stats averaging more, those multi-boost legendary gear items are worthwhile again. It depends on what you are building. You can still pick a high hardcore items build, which will let you do more damage, but not pull off any special moves much. Or you can focus on a multi-boost gear build which will lessen your main damage but increase the rate of your special moves. Just lets you focus on different types depending on what you like, what you find in the store, etc.
  8. well just because they play doesn't mean they play actively. Really I haven't been on long, but I'm already 50th in the tower? That to me shows that there aren't that many real active players, and quickly get tired of the few things there are to do in the game, even less now that you can't pick and battle tower opponents of your choosing. You can do some battles, some events each day, and do the storyline and battle points. Once you finish the current storyline, that part is erased from things to do. People get bored fast with a basic game. The game isn't designed well to want you to spend much money on it because of the silly randomness of the drop system, and the cost in kobans is extremely high to do anything more than the 30 day card. Its stagnant, and many leave quickly after playing, as the tower record shows. Really, I'm level 80ish, haven't seen one legendary equipment in the store ever, just have my epic gear, and I'm 4th in my nation, 50th in the tower? yea, to me that means not-many-players sticking around.
  9. because like many things its a random risk. Just like trying to get boss girls to drop, or trying to get event girls to drop. you can get them on try 15, or try 1500. The epic is the same, its a random risk. You can play 10x for a guarantee girl, or you can play single for a risk at getting a girl. You might get 1 in 10, the same. You might get 2 in 10, win! You might get 0 in 20. Its a gamble. It is up to you if you want to gamble. If you like gambling play singles. If you don't like to gamble just play 10x.
  10. its very small, thousands of fights probably won't raise your chances much, its a silly system really. A girl drop game, where the girls don't drop lol.
  11. ive went a month almost with no drops. I've fought Edwarda thousands of times, went through the whole quest line, spent more battles with kobans trying to get ONE girl to drop during all that time. Nothing. So thousands of battles in world 4, nothing. onto world 5 now, still no boss drops since I think march with Gruntt
  12. true, but others have more patience than I do, I really can't play a game where the goal is to get girl drops here and there, but go half a month, thousands of battles, going through entire worlds doing battles, using up kobans for refreshes, and still not getting drops. Really whats the point if you play a girl drop game and don't get girl drops lol. Do I want to play worlds for a month without nothing, or do I want to go play a game where I actually do stuff in the game that the game is about. Really, its a no brainer. Early on was fine, but when you do events, do entire worlds all the way through, even blew through the rest of my kobans on battle refreshes to get SOMETHING to drop just because I'm bored and figure i'm just going to move on to something else, and still nothing. No point what so ever.
  13. sorry but the pity timer I'm guessing is just a myth, or its so slight that it really doesn't matter. Ive been on world 4 now, battling the boss and I'm almost done with world 4, the entire time using battle points for I think the past 10 days, I think I finished world 3 Gruntt during the end of march event, something like the 24th, now going on april 5th and I'm almost done with world 4, haven't gotten ANY girls to drop on world 4 with probably 1000 battles in, daily plus koban refreshes, so that "pity timer" seems to be pretty much a mythological pity timer that probably at the most adds in .01 each time you battle, giving you an extra 5% chance after 500 tries, who knows. I sure know that after doing an entire world of quests and battle points in the past 1-2 weeks that no girls drop, there isn't any sort of "timer" that really adds up to anything if you cant reach that "timer" after 1000 battles or so.
  14. well this is the last event that I'm going to see what happens. So far with the bad luck, don't want to play any more. The goal is to get girls to drop and they just aren't dropping. So during this event will have what, 700 ish tries to get them. Havent had nothing dropping in any shape or form. the legendary girl, 600 tries nothing, almost done with world 4, hundreds/if not thousand battles, not 1 girl drop yet. So, last chance game. If I go through this event with no drops, no more game for me, not worth playing a girl-drop game and getting nothing lol. So last shot at keeping a player. Better give me some luck.
