Again, RNG is the same for every player but it won't offer the very same results to all of them. That's RNG, and averages are just that, averages. We don't know what's the variance. Even in a normal distribution there will players on both extremes of the Gauss bell, what we can call outliers (and it seems you are one of those, bud luck my friend). The probably of those outliers wanting to express here in this forum either their frustration or their happiness with the results of their tries is, I think, quite high (especilly for the 'offended' ones). I mean, I started this very same thread trying to understand if there were some hidden mechanism behind the shards functionality because I had the feeling there was something odd on how the first 100 shards drop were distributed. It was made clear quite soon that there isn't, just pure RNG. Anyway, don't take any info given in this forum as something directly extrapolable to the whole base of players. Only a few of them (no more than 50, I might say) keeps posting here on a regular basis so there's too much data unavailable to us, even with the great effort some of them try to make sharing their own experience. So no offense my friend, but if you truly think RNG is not acting the same for every player, and assuming you feel you are in the 'wrong' side of it, I truly don't understand what is that keeps you playing the game (and I mean it, because I've seen several posts from you in other threads complaining about how awful and unfair this game is for free players - which I also am, by the way,, and I'm not having that bad feeling you seem to have).

I can say the same about national lottery. That's what randomness is all about That system was already discussed when shards were implemented. It has some flaws: first, some players will never invest in kobans as they know for sure they just need to wait and do a certain number of battles to get all the girls. And other group of players will spend tons of cash now to get all the girls as soon as possible, then wouldn't have any incentive to keep playing the game. The randomness of shard's drops combined with an exact amount of shards (100) needed to get a girl creates a reasonable balance, although variance can piss some players off in some events

Got her for 220M. no kobans wasted. And she's nice so I guess it's quite a good deal. Awful and unfair event, though. First time I snipper my way up on a contest and feel like a shit for doing so (at least my contenders were also European so we were on equal conditions, but still) Edit.- My initial plan was to do the bare minimum to get a 25+25+25+25 but then realized I wouldn't be online on Monday for the final rush, so it was a risk. I took a look at this contest ranking and went for it

75th+ don't get kobans (maybe that's what misled you), pero some of them get to stay in that division

Not sure if should post this or if it would've been better to just shut up and take advantage of it, but... I have Missions 1 and 4 available in today's mission list. But I already completed Mission 1 first day of event. ¿It's intended or a bug? ¿42 more kobans "for free"?

Same here (also F2P and about your same level) except for the tickets thing because I had plenty of them before the event. At first glance the numbers of fights (against villains, champions and PvP) seem a lot but there's 7 days to complete them. The 80 champion's fights alone took me about 5-6 hours of real gameplay (I started with the 6 champions available and for the last 5-6 fights I could only fight one of them, even after nerfing my teams). Then you got 70 PvP wins which again it's a number that seems like a lot but actually this shouldn't take more than a couple of days at worst (playing regularly, that's it and, even if you got promoted in your League, by using some boosters and selecting wisely your opponents). So if you don't have the bucks to boost your way you should have the time but it's completely possible to get the 4 girls in a week. Just don't panic and make minor adjustments according to the next steps of the path and you should be fine. Also, I got one Mythic Pachinko girl along the way, have stacked some Event pachinko orbs and 10 Epic Pachinko single orbs which could easily mean at least another couple of girls. Not a bad investment for 7.2k kobans

Don't fight them at all for 3-4 weeks and contests, villains and daily missions will provide enough tickets. Also, going for the 4 girls paying the 7.2k gives you half of the amount needed, if I'm not mistaken. In first Path of Attraction I replied to one guy who said he was being penalized for playing the game. In fact this wasn't exactly true because his concept of 'playing' was that he had a 'tactic' regarding champions which basically consisted in waiting till he could defeat them with just 2 or 3 tickets. Consequence was that he had like trillions of tikets but only 1 Champion open. I told him he was being penalized actually for not playing the game. Now I must say people who do play the game, fighting champions on a regular basis for money and equipment are being penalized

That's exactly the point. They're trying to convert active players into paying players. People who play a considerable amount of time but spend 0 money could feel they just need a little boost to get the 4 girls. Because they'll try to complete the path but fell a bit short and they can at least consider paying just a little in order to achieve it

I've never spent a single € in this game and I don't keep account of the girls I've received via x100 drop anymore, but lately I've been quite lucky on single Epic Pachinko spins (thanks to orbs). I've got no less than 5 girls in the last 3 months (one day I got 2 girls in a row and I was like 'what the hell is going on'). So it's just pure RNG x10 fights doesn't affect the drop rate
