Oh, I've got the memo. I just don't care much at the moment.

Problem is, that my team isn't strong enough to be competitive. That's it. Extreme micromanaging and thinking long and hard about the new meta won't get me anywhere. I don't know if I've just missed the obvious big red button that everyone else in the Top 15 seems to have pushed to get a perverse stats boost. That's absolutely possible, because I didn't pay much attention during the last months.

The only other explanation I can think of is, that the whole light bulb thingy gives whales and koban millionaires a huge advantage until players like me catch up again. But as I've said, I don't really care much about it anymore. The game's UI gets more and more annoying for me every few updates (one of the last updates blessed me with not being able to change my champion teams anymore and all my usual tricks won't work), there are more and more ridiculous koban and real money spending events and I just grew tired of it. At least a little bit. I'm seriously considering going full F2P and enjoy the harem I've build instead of participating in weird rat races anymore. I mean, that's the whole point of the game, isn't it? Not the artificial PvP stuff or hoarding dozens of different resources.

My league results since the last big update were mixed. After a funny season with *lots* of monsters in my league (I got 13th) the girl skills update came and I got 1st, 1st again (without AM-/LM-boosters and on autopilot!), 2nd, 3rd... and after that I usually finished somewhere around 8th place and Top 4 became completely unreachable.

I'll have to see if I can get into the Top 4 again as soon as I can afford to give skills to more than 2 mythic girls. But this will take a while.

Can confirm that the AM booster disappears after one fight (also with more than 30 charges left). At least in my case.

You would think they'd test their patches before unloading them on the players. If only there was something like a test server...

Damn, you're right. I clicked 'Go', saw that my attack stat was un-AMed and went to the Market. The AM booster was still there, the leagues main page told me it was still active, too.

I thought it might be just a visual bug and started a battle. But I did less damage and the AM booster is REALLY gone now. That's... not good. 🤔

And, no - not a ''3 points bug'' or anything like that. It was just that I didn't see a way to change my very weak defense team that guarantees a loss. You have nothing to worry about when you start a battle, I guess.

After the latest patch I'm not quite sure how and where I change my league team:

The usual button is completely missing. And, yes, my browser is up to date and the adblocker is turned off.

Aside from that (and other things that don't work anymore - like sorting), I like that I'm shown which boosters my opponents use. Saves me a lot of work. But what's it good for if I only get 3 points in every fight from now on?

Haha, sorry. Of course I still had fights left. Was busy building my next league team and didn't do the last fight until now (against the only fully boosted opponent but at least with 20% luck bonus). Didn't mean to stress you out.

Well, looks like players who aren't level 600 can still win leagues. In my last season the Top 2 were levels 534 and 528 (I was in third place), this time it's me with 552. Good to know that if there aren't any extreme monsters in a league, the Top 4 are still somewhat doable.

Yeah, definitely not. This would get very annoying very soon.

But every now and then exchanges like these can really help lifting unnecessary tension that tends to pop up even in the most stupid and irrelevant contests. Like our weekly league battles.

And I hate to admit that, but I'm really prone to this kind of tension. Because mother nature somehow forgot to provide me with any competitiveness at all. The slightest rush of adrenaline and I just feel sick and poisoned (just had to do several time trials in a silly F2P racing game against other players - the results were four victories and a third place... plus shaking hands for up to three hours every time and generally feeling really bad). So our little chat was also kind of a therapy session for me.

But, yes, sorry if that bothered anyone. I'm sure it won't happen again. At least in the near future.

I don't mind losing to both of you. Ezekiel looks like a decent player to me. And you're basically my account twin since we both started the game (the Arnold Schwarzenegger twin, not the Danny DeVito one - that's probably me ).

 

So here's the league table one day before the end. I was able to do some risk management, fighting half-boosted players and still keeping my chances alive in the case that Ezekiel has an opponent left he didn't fight yet. Which I seriously doubt by now. For this he would have needed a 24.91 average for 27 continuous fights last weekend. That's nonsense.

I still have 12 fights to do and need a 17.2 per fight to get ahead of you two. Should be relatively easy but I still don't trust those last four opponents that gave me headaches for days now. If I have to fight three or all four of them boosted, I guess I will suffer some defeats and it will be tough to reach that 7100.

In the end it all still boils down to the question if I can catch all but two players more or less unboosted. Well... if @zythgordoesn't whack our asses. I'd love to see that, haha. Alas, despite being a really strong player he's not amongst the ten guys I was roughly keeping track of. So I have no clue if he's done yet or not. ^^

I have 11 opponents left now and need slightly less than a 21 average for the remaining fights to beat 7099. Sounds doable. But we still don't know if Ezekiel is still in the race or not. If he is and I'm just trying to get a cheap 7100+, I throw away my (very small) chance to beat his 7086+X.

If he isn't and I'm aiming for a lucky high score, I might lose to you because I'll probably have to fight too many boosted monsters.

I don't know what to do yet. And some players with very weird boost habits and changing equipment/battle teams drive me insane and don't make it any easier. Ah, well. Knowing myself, I'm not gonna make any meaningful decision and just switch to panic mode on the last day, haha.

I hope this little update helps to reduce the unhealthy tension at least a little bit.

Hard to say. I have 45 fights left, so I'd need a 21.65 average to get past your 7099. But it looks good for you - I gambled and took on the easier opponents first this time. Because I had to do something different from your and Ezekiel's approach if I wanted to have at least a small chance. I could never beat you by brute force alone.

Well, let's say I'm not really satisfied with the RNG so far. And my Monday offense wasn't a success story either. If I have to fight two or more players boosted in the end, I'm definitely out. And this has always been the case recently (usually I have 3-5 boosted players left). My best guess based on past experiences are ~7080 points for me at the end of the league.

Shall I keep you up to date?

Anyhow, if Ezekiel isn't done yet - and I don't know if he has one or zero opponents left -, it's just a battle for 2nd place. That's okay for me. This week I didn't play to win but to get some information (and to show off my totally cool Fantasy-RPG harem ). I still don't know what my stats are worth after the last big patch. I'd be extremely happy with an expensive Top4 right now.

Haha, I'm a bad example - two weeks ago I've lost by less than 10 points against one of the top players. Could have been a win if I had a strong defense team. ^^

But, yes, that's the magnitude we're talking about when it comes to defensive stats. That is, if you give away 75 points to your opponents. If you just don't care about optimizing and don't deliberately choose an extremely weak team, we're in low single digit territory. I don't know if statistics that revolve around your defense are that important to your performance.

Ah, yes. This became quite clear when you did almost all your remaining fights on Monday. Must have cost you around 150 points. I don't think I could have beaten you with my final score of 7045 if you had the leisure to micromanage all your fights.

But, hey, I'll take it. I don't care about being 1st or 101st, but I'm always short on koban and I really needed this little bonus.

And after the latest patches (girl equipment, level cap, 4th booster slot) it is possible that this was my last lucky victory for a while. In addition to the latest kicks in the teeth, I wouldn't be surprised if KK raised the max. club bonuses to 40 with one of the next patches. I'm still having a hard time getting them to 20, so I would definitely not be competitive anymore.

I was so close to catching up with all you league monsters. Even beat a 50+ victory opponent recently. Ah, well. It was nice while it lasted.

In a moment of mental derangement it just seemed to me that it might be a problem that affects more users because it occured right after the wednesday update and it wasn't the only issue. Suddenly there was also some minor stuff like wrong poses for the team girls (the team of at least one league opponent seemed to be affected, too) or some strange miscalculations regarding team strength in HH and PsH (which luckily disappeared after a few hours). This all didn't exactly scream ''it's just your browser setup''. Especially after updating my browser shortly before. Doing a clean new install in fact.

But, yes, posting it in QA would have been the better option. Got it. I promise to improve.

But (as mentioned above) my browser is probably as fresh as it can possibly be. And I've never used HH++. Maybe I should give it a try to see if this solves my problem.

I had this problem for quite a while now and I always thought it's because of my browser that I never updated for years. It made everything a little bit inconvenient, especially clicking on the 4th girl in my team (there are always just a few clickable pixels), but I could live with this.

Now I've updated my Firefox on tuesday - and everything worked fine, hooray! I could finally see the fourth harem column. And some of the other menus in the game looked better, too.

One day later the wednesday update came and it all went back to the garbled bullshit you can see in the two pictures above. Which would be okay for me... if it didn't make everything worse. Now I have to press the tab button on my keyboard to make the ''Validate'' and ''Cancel'' buttons visible (and to be able to click on my 4th girl). And ''Validate'' is always greyed out, no matter what I do. So I can't edit my teams anymore.

I tried logging out and in again, deleting cookies, deleting the cache, disabling my adblocker, disabling tracking protection... nothing worked. Except for the adblocker I don't seem to have any other add-ons in my Firefox that could interfere with the appearance of hentaiheroes.com (just 3 different download helpers and one addon that adds something to the context menu). So I'm running out of ideas now.

Anyone else with this problem? Any hints on how to fix this? Did I overlook something? The only workaround I can think of is using a different browser to edit my teams. But this would be kinda stupid.

Yeah, this result was a little bit surprising. I didn't even try to score high this week, because there were too many strong(er) players around. Well... my plan to get a cheap Top15 with no AME boosters (except for a 0.7 leftover from last season) failed miserably.

As @Liliat already said: this was a relatively weak league. No shark around - but a lot of barracudas. Like me, Arcavius, @Hvjkzvand Liliat. In the end it was a battle between me and Arcavius who both fought for their 4th league win.

Despite some stupid mistakes I made, I guess I could secure the first place by exploiting this week's blessings: I used 3 Cordys most of the time while Arcavius seems to have chosen a Co/Co/Gi approach. And he did a lot of battles before the blessings changed. Last week's blessings didn't really help with getting many points.

I'm still cursing the §$#&% RNG but overall I'm quite happy with the results of course. Especially because it was the first time that one of my club mates was watching, haha.

Average: 23,39 (4 opponents boosted, 300 fights, 1 loss)
1 refill for ~90 koban
AMEs for almost all the fights

 

Next week I'm in a league with Liliat again. And I'll probably aim for a cheap Top15. Too many strong players around and the next blessings suck for me. Meh.

In the end I came in second with 6957 points. Which is quite a good result regarding the RNG from hell last week. But I used 3 full AMEs. And if I had to guess I'd say that @cypion31 and @Pelinorboth only used 2. Or even less. So despite the surprisingly close race I'm happy with Top4, which was my main goal (I really need some extra koban after the last §$#&% event...).

Top4 seems out of reach for me in the current season. Too many strong players like @jelomin my league. So I'll aim for a - hopefully - easy Top15 and rather focus on RL stuff. My gf and me are moving into our first house. Which... is a lot of work.

Hmm, I have 455 points now and I will definitely get at least to 480 at the end of day 2. And I've spent only 180 koban yet. Getting to 500 doesn't seem to be much of a problem if you aren't the unluckiest person on the planet. I had some bad luck with ''get chest x'' and ''gain xp'' but I also got a lot of easy ''spend money'' tasks. So I'm doing okay-ish I guess.

I don't like the chaotic RNG stuff, just like most people here. And another additional event that interferes with already existing ones? Bah! Why? But the only thing that really bothers me so far is the impudence of demanding 7200 koban for the paid path. It's hardly worth that much. Even with the additional mythic equipment (RNG again) and the 3 AMEs (most players probably don't even use them) I feel bad about paying that much for a legendary girl that I don't even find interesting. And it makes collecting all the girls unnecessarily hard for players who aren't regularly amongst the top 4 in the D3 leagues.

I am one of those few lucky ones, but this event feels like just another thumbscrew to me. Where's the fun in that?
(oh, I forgot - according to the developers the fun is the ''chase'', not getting the girls )

Chill train sounds great! And I guess you don't need the Top4 koban anyway. I mean, even I am already in a position where I could take an easy Top15 every week without missing out on anything. And I've always been slightly behind you with my harem development.

Hah! I totally overlooked Geek at the beginning of the league. I checked the 15 players with the strongest harems and he was literally #16. Otherwise I would have seen that he and Milio were the top contenders. And he played a pretty unremarkable first half of the season, too.

But on Monday it was clear to me that I wouldn't stand a chance - I've already lost a ridiculous amount of points until then and Geek was way too far ahead. So I gave up halfway through (just like Milia and Ira, it seems) and saved my last AME for later. But I'm happy with my 2nd place and the information I could gather. Congratulations to Geek for the win!

2 AMEs used, 23.1 average, 1Co/2Gi setup.

Next week I'm in a league with @Pelinor and @cypion31. I'll... just watch them fight it out. I don't think I'm cannon fodder but my chances to win this season are probably abysmal.

Speaking of... I've just won my third league (out of the last 7)! After the ridiculous amounts of luck I've had during the past league seasons, this time it was just luck with the distribution of D3 players. With all respect to my opponents - I was pretty much the only contender for first place:

601 points ahead of #2. Looks like I didn't even have to use AME boosters. But I couldn't know beforehand, I guess. And two of the tougher opponents had a jump start, so I had to assume that they mean business. Well, they clearly didn't. ^^"

Full AME, 1Co/2Gi setup. Club bonuses of 17 (HC/CH/KH), 18 (Endurance) and 11 (Harmony). Yeah, I could finally level them up a little bit!
Had to fight only 2 opponents boosted. And I still don't use a script. Stupid me.

Needless to say that I'm quite happy with the results. Especially after what happened three weeks ago where one of the wednesday updates seems to have messed with my league performance and turned a secure 4th place into a 10th (I clicked on the league and was instantly informed that I just did a x15 battle thingy - with my super weak christmas-y team! well, I'm sure I didn't, but it cost me ~300 points against low level opponents; on the other hand I found myself at Pantheon temple 1601 without ever beating 1600, sooo~... ah, well... who knows what other funny things happened that day without me even noticing them ).

This week I'm in a similarly doable D3 league. With one exception - Milio. He doesn't seem to be one of the super monsters out there, but I dont know if I already stand a chance against him. Especially after my first fights which went really poorly. Hmm... should I even try or should I just take an easy Top 4? 🤔

This is nuts! I played quite halfheartedly this week (because I celebrate Christmas until February and have other stuff on my mind), RNG wasn't exactly on my side and I had to fight 7 boosted opponents. And I didn't use AMEs like for my first victory two weeks ago.

Well, everyone else was on an AME-free run, too. Obviously. But that alone can't really explain these results. I'm almost certain that there has to be at least one player who could have won... but decided against it (maybe @FinderKeeper?). If that's the case - thank you. That's a ridiculously kind thing to do. And the real winner would be the Christmas spirit, I guess.

My first victory ever! Two months ago I almost won but was beaten by 19 points in the last few seconds (mainly thanks to a really shitty RNG that week).

This time it went way better. A merciful RNG (I've won almost as many points due to luck as I've lost) and 4 slightly stronger opponents who either didn't use AMEs or, probably in @Sephira's case, suffered from bad luck. Or maybe even both.

relevant club bonuses: 15 (HC/CH/KH) / 18 (endurance) - yeah, I'm still not done with leveling up these...

Next week I won't even try. Strength-wise I seem to be #3 in my league and the two stronger players are only 1k/2k away from me. But they look like they're impossible to beat if they fight with all they've got. And they do. So... I'll take a cheap 3rd-6th place.

Whew... got Sandra after 310 fights. Natural refills + Path of Valor combativity did the job. *And* I got very lucky with the Epic Orbs and only had to use 42 for the two remaining girls. Guess I can be really happy with the Orgy Days results despite the bad villain fights outcome.
