  1. 40 fights in already today... and still not one drop of Brood shards. This sucks. Still 40 girls to 550 before I can unlock 600, thankfully PoP has accelerated that somewhat. Gems is the bottleneck for me now. I'm buying all the XP items from the market every refresh, but I can't use them all for lack of gems awakening girls. Cash is piling up in droves now, especially with the last two champions and PoP now having some payouts in the straight up ~$2.5 million range. Do I blow my millions on 10x Great Games to farm 1-star girls, gem-cheap to upgrade and speed up my path to unlocking level 600 girls or are buying stats in the market a better cash-dump?
  2. I've gotten the Champion girl for the Classic event each time since they implemented Champions. That said I've yet to get one of the actual Champion girls. Teutates at 11, Spider at 10 and still only 60/100 on the girls. It's almost inconceivable now when I'll ever get them, they've been that since 7 and 6 respectively and it now takes a truly ludicrous amount of tickets to get the fifth stage of either done when you have no defense strength and only 3 or 4 of the girls on your team can take a swing before the Champion obliterates you. Places of Power has added some additional ticket sources but it's not a lot of help. Only getting my level cap to 550 has kept me competitive in Season or Leagues when others have got five-star Champions on their rosters that so easily eclipse (often) even doubly-blessed 3-star girls.
  3. Lucked out, while it took me more days than I wanted in order to get Alt-Sirena I got a 100 shard drop on Alt-Switchblade with three days left to go. I wish Legendary Days followed like it used to. I don't really like Bang, its repetitive and only yields one girl. Haven't bested 60 shards yet since I can't bring myself to spend such gold/kobans for such minimal reward. Anyone got any links to better strategies for Bang?
  4. So... the Boss doesn't get stronger if you level up, right? So if I level up the Boss doesn't suddenly become a level stronger? Is there any reason not to wait until the 4th and final day then? If the boss is still going to be as strong then as it is today, while I'll presumably gain levels and improve girls between now and then?
  5. Kinda already got Poison Ivy covered with Bramble and Spider Lily Frankly the theme would have made a lot more sense if there was a 'natural disaster' threatening the city and the heroines were themed for combating said disaster. Big storm? A lightning, wind, water and weather themed heroine... not tree woman, greek goddess, pleather jacket and antlers. Porn game doesn't have a very well developed story-line or consistency? Very authentic to porn as a genre I guess.
  6. What's that Kinkoid? You haven't seen my bank card much lately and were wondering how its credit score is holding up?
  7. I lucked out and got all of them except the two Night-Club girls. Only getting 70 shards of Delicious Darkling isn't so bad. Sooner or later she will show up in Mythic at the Night-Club no doubt, then three 3x orbs will let you complete her then.
  8. The opponents you get offered are not based on your stats or player level. They're based on your Mojo. Opponents are usually within 100-200 Mojo, greater or less, than your current Mojo. So if you keep getting offered opponents you can't beat then that means almost all the players at your level of Mojo or rank in the Season have better stats or girls than you do. You really only have two options: 1. Use boosters to get stronger so that you can beat opponents. This has its drawbacks. How many boosters you can get without spending gold is limited and once you start using them you might need to keep using them. If you use them to get strong enough to beat players who are naturally (un-boosted) stronger than you, then tomorrow when your boosters run out you'll either need to use some more or you'll find yourself amongst even more players with stronger stats than you and so you'll probably find it even more difficult to win fights than the day before. 2. Wait it out, even if it means not using your kisses for a while. If you wait then eventually other players weaker than you will catch up with you, having as much Mojo as you do, then they'll be offered as opponents to fight. If you are patient and you aren't too new to the game you should be able to still get to the higher tiers in the Season before the end of the month. Tips: 1. I'm not sure if when you say 'x10 match' it means for every 10 battles or if you are using the 'x10 battles at once' button that spends gold... but if you mean the latter you are better off saving your gold. The automatic 10 match pick isn't going to match you with better opponents than you could choose yourself and might pick significantly worse ones. Do the battles individually by careful consideration of your opponents stats. 2. If you are pretty much sure you can't beat any of the three opponents offered, fight the one with the highest Mojo. Even if it's the one you are least likely to beat. You'll lose less Mojo this way because how much Mojo you win or lose is based on the difference between your Mojo and your opponents. Beating an opponent who is only a little above your Mojo gives less Mojo when you win AND if you lose to an opponent whose Mojo is a lot higher than yours might mean you only lose >10 Mojo. Then you might find the next three opponents contains one you can beat and gain Mojo that more than makes up for what you lost. 3. If you are out of kisses then change your team of girls out from your strongest girls to some of your weakest girls. Yes, that means other players will be able to beat you very easily but this is GOOD because you can't lose Mojo from someone else attacking you and them beating you, only if you attack them and lose. The more players who attack and beat you while you have your weak girl team in place, waiting for kisses to refill, the more weaker players gain Mojo and get ahead of you and will be offered as opponents when your kisses refill and you switch back to your team of strongest girls.
  9. Edit: Never mind, seems to have been cache related or some such. I logged out, Ctrl+F5 and logged back in and updated to the full 10.
  10. They already did. It was originally: 5 champion fights for Task 6. 8 champion fights for Task 9. 15 champion fights for Task 15. That's been shaved down to 2, 4 and 6 respectively. But yes, it's still very easy to one-shot them, triggering a 24 hour cool-down. Follow Jelom's advice on the previous page. Redo the draft until you get some lower powered girls, equip harmony-only type equipment, make sure the poses don't match. I did get 6 fights out of the two champions today, letting me finish Tasks 6 and 9, hopefully I'll be able to repeat it tomorrow and do Task 15 as well.
  11. @jelom Once again you have the best advice. Replacing all my gear with harmony-only stats meant I'll get ~6 performances out of the champions today instead of 2. Still think it's all kinds of silly that you have to intentionally 'cock-block' yourself and waste extra tickets to complete an event... but that's Kinkoid for you.
  12. Some folks over on the Discord have already cottoned onto the fact that for the newer players who haven't completed 'World 3 Quest 5: “A Boost for Two”' they can't even DO any Champion fights yet, meaning that for them PoA is literally unplayable, not just technically so, like it is for the high-level established players. The more this goes on the clearer it is how poorly thought everything has been.
  13. ... I can't recall the random draft girls or the replacements when I do a new draft ever containing a 1-star girl so far, since Champions was rolled out. I haven't got a shortage of 1-star girls either or anything like that. And if only I hadn't sold all those bits of green gear I had on Thursday's contest. I'd figured leaving a stack of orange and purple surplus would do the job for 'Sell Items' tasks and give me a nice cash payout for the 'Spend Money' tasks.
  14. ... I hope that's not all they intend to do. If the champions still stay one-shot knock-overs it's still a big problem. Do tasks 1 to 5. Do Champions x2 Do tasks 7 and 8. Wait for Champion cool-down to finish. Easy enough, about 24 hours. Do Champions x2 Then, however, you have to wait 24 hours of cool-down. You've lost an entire day with no other progress on tasks. Then do Champions x2 again. 24 hours waiting for Champions to cool-down again. Meanwhile do tasks 10 to 14. Here we go again. Do Champions x2 Wait 24 hours of cool-down. Do Champions x2 Wait 24 hours of cool-down. Do Champions x2 That's 5 full days just between the doing task 6 and task 15 if you are ready to do them the instant the cool-down finishes. That leaves 24 hours when the champions aren't in cool-down where you can afford to be in the middle of other tasks. Worse still for me. I don't think I can do it. I've got 22 hours of cool-down on the Champions right now, because I did them just before roll-over. So in 5 days time, I'll still have about 40 minutes of cool-down on Champions, waiting to do Champion fight 5 & 6 for task 15... right with PoA finishes. That's just the math as I see it. Ugly math.
  15. I was specifically said if the Devs removed the 24 hour cool-down to let people do champions more than once a day, then people would surely rush through and get the girls. Only someone with a very long number in their bank balance - and wanting to shorten it significantly - would rush through to girls with the current gold cost for overriding the cool-down, lol. But yeah... I was super paranoid this would happen and held off buying the unlock for that very reason. Phew. I guess we wait and see how this unfolds. It doesn't feel like a very equitable solution if it's just to make it so it'll take more tickets to get the same Champion progression/rewards for the duration of PoA. Still a better solution than the alternatives, just not a better solution than simply thinking ahead in the first place.
  16. Exactly. Rushed to implement Champions into CxH before PoA. Copy-pasted in from HxH without considering the differences in implementation between the two. No one, baring the ultimate whales is going to use gold/kobans to refresh that many times. And unlike when they previously just copy-pasted in energy-spending tasks to CxH when most had no means of spending and just compensated by early-releasing a side quest, I can't think of any way for them to get out of this. They could remove the cool down or reduce it to an hour or something... but then a lot of people over the next 6 days would use that to get the two girls from champions and thus finish out the content there far ahead of what the Devs would have anticipated.
  17. Try as I might, I can't figure out how I'm supposed to squeeze 5, 8 and 15 - totaling 28 - champion performances into 6 days. At the moment even without bothering to optimize the match up of girls when challenging the champions I'm one-shot defeating them... resulting in a 24 hour cool-down. That's a max of 2 each day. It'd take me a fortnight to complete just the champion tiers of the event, let alone the rest.
  18. Yeah, it's actually weird to be disappointed at one-hit victories against the Champion. Conserve the tickets? That's nice. Waiting 24 hours to go again? That sucks. Daily contest that yields points based on the number of Champion performances you do? One per day, not much help, lol.
  19. I don't claim to know how long it takes for the game to refresh what team and stats you opponents see after you switch teams, but it can't be that long. After all, as I said, I've seen other players with their 1-star girl teams - Oh, hey look it's Kenrae, *cough* Exhibit A *cough* - so it must do so eventually. Last night I finished up losing 3 fights in a row, each time a selection of whales or boosters, but needed to get kisses down low enough while I went to sleep. Wake up the next morning, lost my first fight which was a hold over the from previous evening, then won 8 of the next 9 fights against opponents of similar or lower stats. After which I of course switched back out to my 1-star girl team. It's certainly cut down on the amount of swearing I hurl at my computer screen, so there's that too.
  20. I'll reiterate here something I've shared before, my method of avoiding getting stuck in whale-only territory. Personally I'd say there's two additional rules for Seasons: 3. You can only lose Mojo if you attack someone and they beat you... if they attack you and you lose, your Mojo is unchanged. 4. There's no reward for being ranked higher in Seasons, all that matters is reaching the important tiers. So following these rules you might reason out some other alternatives. When you are NOT using kisses by fighting other players, the hours while you wait for the kisses to regenerate, you should switch out your team of girls. By all means, have a team of your best girls for when you are attacking but when you're not then you want - even need - other players to be able to beat you. They beat you, they gain Mojo and move up the ranks and you down but you don't lose any Mojo in doing so. Now you should be amongst weaker players who didn't have the girls strong enough to beat your best team, so switch back over and attack them. Unlike other competitive challenges Seasons are not a zero-sum outcome where someone else's gain is your loss. You can help others climb tiers by letting them beat you to get ahead and - in an ideal world - they then switch out and let you beat them so you get ahead. Repeat ad infinitum. Such co-operative gameplay in a setting intended to pit players against each others isn't exactly intuitive and unfortunately it's not likely to be adopted broadly, but it's certainly worked for me and I've seen at least a couple of other players who've apparently adopted the same system since I've attacked their team of 1-star only girls. So, do yourself a favour if you're stuck in whale-territory and unable/unwilling to boost. Switch out and let yourself drop through the ranks without losing Mojo. A sample of my progress for January thus far: 1st - 44th, 4,972 Mojo, Tier 29. (I carried about 100 kisses over from December's Season) 2nd - 80th, 5,131 Mojo, Tier 30. 3rd - 107th, 5,394 Mojo, Tier 31. 4th - 111th, 5,710 Mojo, Tier 33. 5th - 81st, 6,422 Mojo, Tier 36. * 6th - 141st, 6,466 Mojo, Tier 37. 7th - 194th, 6,629 Mojo, Tier 37. 8th - 214th, 6,961 Mojo, Tier 39. 9th - 174th, 7,598 Mojo, Tier 42. 10th - 196th, 7,813 Mojo, Tier 43. 11th - 199th, 8,273 Mojo, Tier 45. 12th - 161st, 9,055 Mojo, Tier 49. * 13th - 189th, 9,172 Mojo, Tier 50. 14th - 213th, 9,262 Mojo, Tier 51. 15th - 256th, 9,455 Mojo, Tier 51. 16th - 302nd, 9,616 Mojo, Tier 52. You can see both on the 5th and 12th where I jump up the ranks, then as I decline back down. Those days were the only two where I used boosters and only ones I'd come by through daily rewards, orb wins, etc. No kobans/gold spent. The only reason for that was to try to score some XP off of the remaining stronger opponents during the last day of the Tower of Fame where it is zero-sum. Otherwise I switched in and out as needed, kept gaining Mojo and kept slipping down the ranks.

Even if they just made it so that instead of a random 1-star girl's 10-shards that you could use like a draft pachinko: use them get offered 3 different 1-star girls you could apply those 10 shards to. That way you could at least focus on getting a 1-star girl finished with combat-yielded frags. What is it, 6 or 7 months of the game now and I still haven't brought any 1-star girl to 100 shards from combat drops, I have 3 at 60 shards... I used to have 4 but a 10 orb Great Game yielded her and so the surplus 60 shards got turned into affection items. Don't get me wrong, 60 time 130 affection was certainly very useful, but what is even the point of 10 shard 1-star girl drops from combat if you are far more likely to end up just getting all of the girls from 10 orb Great Games in the end anyway? The game may as well give the player a 1200 affection item at random instead, it'll work out pretty much the same.
  22. 4th Star - 22,500 affection 5th Star - 45,000 affection Purchasing affection items in the market runs ~$417 per affection point. So that's $28,147,500 just to buy the affection to get the stars filled. Then there's the actual upgrade costs: 4th Star - $9,000,000 5th Star - $18,000,000 That tacked on makes upgrading just the 4th and 5th stars $55,147,500. Add that to the $14,338,350 needed for the first 3 stars and it comes to a grand total of $69,485,850 to upgrade Scarlet Bride to 5 full stars. Thankfully between the $30 mil I had squirreled away and the $40 mil from the 58th tier of the Season let me max her out. Now to start saving up again just in time for the multiple spending targets in PoA.
  23. A few weeks of being given the proverbial middle finger by the RNG - dropping a boatload of saved orbs to come in 1st in a daily contest for them and getting zero girls, having to buy a bundle AND spend kobans to get both Krampus and Jingle from the Classic event - and suddenly I'm not mad at all... for the second time ever, a 100 shard drop and it's for a five star girl. Good luck to all the rest of you, she'll be a kickass addition to your combat teams and the artwork on her is seriously fiiiine.
  24. CxH is actually more recent, less than 6 months old. HxH just had its 5th anniversary not so long ago. CxH and HxH mostly use the same game engine and algorithms. The ease of obtaining cash for advancement in HxH is to facilitate new players with the ability to catch up some ground on players who've been playing for years. With CxH that's not really necessary, since the game has been out for so little time. Progressively more features of HxH have been mirrored into CxH since the later emerged from beta. Eventually there probably will be Champions, Places of Power and so on - when they become more necessary. CxH is probably also an attempt to implement some balance modifications which HxH has accumulated over the years and which needed nerfing. Playing since Day One I've got 117 girls, each of them upgraded to 3-stars except - at present - 11 Legendary girls still on 2-stars. I've bought only the Silver Monthly and the Season Passes, with a couple of bundles here and there.
