Gift Code Posting Thread (HH)

Zteev

Recommended Posts

I realize that gift codes may come from different places, and the current Anniversary Event is posting codes on Twitter. Since many of us aren't on Twitter, and it's likely that most aren't following every place codes could be posted, I thought a thread where people could post codes in one central spot would be a good idea.

I'm not going to try and keep this post updated, but I hope the thread itself helps.

Please only post links to codes usable by the general populace, meaning not something specific for your account.

Please try and make sure you aren't posting a link to a code that has just recently been posted.

Also note that some codes start with a "#" and some don't. Please post the code correctly.

Updated to note that posts should be linked to the code post, not just the code.

The anniv one was fine because well it was hidden in the hashtags of the posts initially, but when they post them directly in social media posts, they don't want those codes posted openly on the forum. Link to the tweet/fb post with the code.

Yeah but theses geniuses make the redeem code in the same format that hashtags...

And in Tweeter, they but a lot of hashtags in their messages...

Did you even read my comment? That's why I said that one was fine (hell it was Darsca [the other mod] that posted it at one point in the other thread), but tweets like this one which say "THIS IS A REDEEM CODE" are ones that aren't to be posted without context, they should be linked.

They want people engaged with their social media so they're giving out free stuff there. So if you want to get more codes, at least pretend to engage with their social media. If Kinkoid wants the codes on the forum openly, they'll post them here themselves. That's all I'm asking.

Yeah, this is what I started to do... trying all hashtags because we have no way to differentiate hashtags and redeem codes (cf the last time we got redeem codes). I got tired after few days of testing hastags without any redeem codes.

Should I also like and retweet everything, so that my elderly mother can see the porn-collectible game I'm into?

This is another "contest notifications" level decision.

That's absolutely fine, and I know Test agrees (so do I). Test might not have made his point clear enough, but I know exactly what he means, and I strongly agree, so I'll try to clarify.

The most annoying thing about them posting the redeem codes on social media isn't that you need to engage with their social media etc. but simply the fact that the format they chose for their own redeem codes starts with a hashtag exactly like about half the content of any of their regular social media posts, especially their tweets, which are chokefull of random hashtags all of the time. If they had chosen any other format for their redeem codes, that would be fine. But as it is, you can never really know whether one of their dozens of daily hashtags doubles up as a redeem code or not, unless you try them all (which on top of that blocks you for an hour after a fairly small number of wrong codes entered), or someone else gives you a hint (either Kinkoid themselves as in your screenshot, but that's quite rare, or, more often as was the case during the previous event with the cam girls and the redeem codes slash hashtags all over the place, other players).

That's the thing that's really "Kinkoid-y" in a bad way with this whole deal imho. If they either used a different format for their redeem codes, like say "}{happyanniversary" or if they used hashtags but posted these codes on a platform that doesn't use hashtags like punctuation, we wouldn't have this problem.

This thread is a great idea, thank you.

+1 or should I say #thankyou? ^^

That's sweet, but maybe try a direct link to the specific tweet itself? A link to their twitter's home page doesn't help all that much.

Like this for yesterday's code: direct link.

Or that for the puzzling message they tweeted a few hours ago: another direct link (which tells us to use a certain redeem code 4 days from now; I'm sure it's "not a bug" in their mind ^^).

Unless your elderly mother is looking over your shoulder while you surf the internet, I'm not sure what your issue is with simply being asked to read a tweet or Facebook post.

I was intending on showing the pointlessness of luring people to the social media sites. My actual issue is a private matter, and likely a unique one. But suffice it to say if the codes are only on facebook or twitter, they may as well be completely inaccessible to me.

You know you can read messages on Twitter and Facebook without any account?

For instance, the redeem code given so far is here: https://twitter.com/hentai__heroes/status/1282721205720682497

Yeah, it's a valid argument against the contests they hold exclusively on social media, because you have to reply, like, retweet etc. to participate. But for stuff like a redeem code that you simply need to read, which you can do by simply visiting their page, even in maximum anonymous mode, that's not relevant.

In other news, our friend Tom might just have cracked the code itself. What I initially took for a mistake when I read today's tweet prompting us to use the same code again on July 18th very likely simply means that there will be just one such gift via redeem code per event over the "Anniversary Month" period. As further evidenced by the lack of a new redeem code posted for today.

So we probably won't really need a big collective effort to keep track of all the gift codes after all... ^^ /thread I guess.

They're technically keeping their word so far on the daily login gift, though. Even if, so far, it's quite debatable whether the respective values of 3 combativity, 10 energy and €1 are anywhere near equivalent.

Thanks for that tip. I don't actually use Twitter. I copied that from the other thread.

To be fair, social media sites like twitter are blocked in some places of the world (google says China, Iran, North Korea, and Turkmenistan for example) so people can't read them.

Of course there's ways to get around blocks but most either take a lot of tech savvy or are also illegal...

Most of those places would also block this site though...

Slightly annoying -- today's code is the same as that posted on Saturday.

The codes aren't one per day. They're for several days validity, and they post them several times so that more people will see it because of how the algorithms work.

Thanks. I know they aren't "one per day", but this was the first time I had noticed a multiple/repeat post.
