Observer_X Posted November 25, 2020 Share Posted November 25, 2020 Moreover, that is the value that the developers give to the rewards, and given that, as far as I understood, there is a certain number of players who do not think the additional rewards are worth those 7200 kobans, I don't think that showing the official price will help to make those players change their minds (if anything, the opposite). I only noticed this as she popped up during a champion draft and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her. This is something that should please many players, especially among us "armchair art critics" as a certain Geek (who isn't Greek) once called us. The big unknown factors here would be how the upcoming Mythic girls will be designed (in terms of stats, number of stars etc.) and implemented (will they be something truly special with specific limitations, or just another rarity and eventually all over the place like epics and legendaries before them?). Both directions could be viable and make things more interesting at least for a while, although I think the former would be more impactful and potentially challenging. A limit to one Mythic at a time in a battle team, or a drastic design twist like making them mono-stat, or even have negative values in some of their stats as a downside to balance out their perks in other stats, or a slightly different battle mechanic for them, many cool things could be done here. Of course, that's pure speculation on my part. We don't know anything as of now, except that the Mythic rarity technically exists now, so we should see Mythics introduced soon-ish. Observer_X Posted November 28, 2020 Share Posted November 28, 2020 It may be a too simplicistic answer, but in my opinion the devs simple needed another level of rarity superior to the legendary: this will allow the whales and paying players to mantain their advantage towards other players, and the devs to make more money, as the costs to obtain and upgrade the new girls will probably be so high that despite the free kobans given in the game players willing to upgrade those girls in an acceptable amount of time will be forced to spend real money to obtain thousands of kobans more. This unless they directly decide to follow the line started with the Season of the Rose, i.e. the new girls affection and levels will be upgradable only by spending real money. I only hope that this last hypothesis is wrong, as IMHO this would sign the definitive passage of the game from the freemium to the pay-to-play category. 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
windia Posted November 29, 2020 Share Posted November 29, 2020 (edited) I somehow believe that at least one guy is not overwhelming happy that the rarity slipped into visibility before any announcement^^ Anyway, there are two speculations: Mythic Girls will be - with the same stars - stronger than legendaries - based on the history for existing girls not much, maybe half a point they might require more than 100 shards - assuming KK would be to lazy to put in harem the "42/100" only for clarified cosmetics which would require to readjust the filter in harem as well - looks like an unfinished attempt or a simple bug completely unknown is the event/option to get the new type of girls - and if KK starts as usual with a hardcore one^^ I still think the naming will be confusing with the Mythic Pachinko - unless the girl is only obtainable there^^ Edited November 29, 2020 by windia Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That's basically the same thing as the mandatory smartass comment we get almost every Epic (Pachinko) Days "but they're all Legendaries, not Epics". Most girls, period, are "legendary" girls by now... ^^ And event types are named based on where the girls come from, not what rarity they are. We all know that (or we all should). And what will be mythic about a girl when the next tier, let's say eternal or progenitor one comes out? Just another name that loses the meaning of being somewhat special. Just make her a 6stars legendary and call it a day. And we don't need another background color close to the existing ones that will only make things more confusing when browsing our shop for say leveling the particular girl. To this day i don't make a difference between epic and mythic pachinko orbs(too simillar colors) i suppose the situation with the new girl will be like that. Mythic Days A timed event with a limited affection shard drop Introducing a brand new type of girl rarity: Mythic Most of the things about these event and girl are bad 👎: Astronomical cost to get her (seriously, 1200-1600 battles, 15000 kobans on average?). Astronomical cost to upgrade her (488000 affection is more than a month market refreshes). Very small timeframe to obtain her. Event in the middle of a classic event, disrupting obtaining girls. Limited amount of shards makes for a small group of players to obtain her (although seeing how it is the final depletion of the shards pool in the last refresh, perhaps they were enough for the people willing to get her). The stats of the mythic girl give too much advantage for a small pool of players breaking the balance of the PvP features . The only good thing is that a stronger girl allows fighting the tier 3 of the last bosses. Rewards Balance change Kisses Season Kisses will be obtainable from two places Alternative reward from Champions’ 5th stage after all themed rewards have been collected. 10 Kisses will replace the x1 Epic Pachinko Orb reward. It was the poses where she looked mediocre at best and just horrid at worse. Now she looks awesome. The mythic days i don't really like it: i mean a new rarity is fine, a bit more power sure, the girl are gonna be well drawn yes, but let's face the truth is not possible to use 14k kobans (minimum) every month, that's just way too much pay to win. That said i wrote better my opinion in another thread so i'll move on. More kisses: i like the replacement at the final stage of a champion, 1 red orb was not really a good prize after a good "thousand" battles to defeat a champion, i don't like them in the league: there i liked the most more CP, that are really good in my opinion (even if i wasn't getting a huge amount of them). One thing from the old patch: Holiday rework. That is really good, the girl passed from being one of the worst to one of the best, really thank you for that.
