📜Patch Notes Hentai Heroes 2026 📜

I am amazed at how the devs can take a perfectly balanced and functional matchmaking system in seasons and completely destroy it ... again. Didn't they learnt anything the previous time?

- before: most of the time you are paired with people with mojo similar at yours so you can gain-loss 15-25 mojo.

- now: most of the time you are paired with people with mojo less than yours, so you can gain 1-10 mojo and lose 30-40 mojo.

There was this bug in the past where leading the season was hanging for 10 or 20 seconds, because the system could not find 3 opponents (excluding the ones from last draft) within the level and mojo range. And then often one had a doubled entry (same opponent two times), or one completely outside of the expected range. However, since a longer time I did not face this anymore, so I thought it was fixed already. Now the patch notes contain exactly the suggestion I made that time: to raise the level and mojo ranges for valid opponents, if no 3 could be found, instead of letting the system running into some timeout. No idea why this was even still required, and obviously, while it on its own is a reasonable change, it broke things elsewhere.

Maybe they will learn one day to do a window select function considering the season ranking in the player database to select players around you (+50/-50 ranks, taking into account the top/bottom 50 players).

New Improvements, old Bugs.

And this is at tier 55, I'm rank 5561. 🙄 😒

Had one with 1 Point at all three, and 38-40 points each as well.

From PsH tier 23

I'm not defending this but I'm at Tier 32 this time (so 23 behind you) and things are a lot less volitile.

Still wild swings back and forth but there are approaching infinity more middle numbers than last time :P

I also expect them to say again "things will work out through the season", whether true or not or they rollback or not time will tell :P

To the topic of too many events, I came back from holiday and had to wait to see the patch notes I missed because there were so many events they had rolled off. #proof

I am completely enraged now. 🤬 I have played 200 season battles and won barely 500 mojo winning 99% of them!!!

It is worst than I initially expected. 90% ot the opponents award just 1, 2, or 3 mojo, and the few that offer you more than 20 are usually so strong that you end losing enough times for it not being worth.

How are we supposed to reach 11500 points for the second girl of season? In the previous system, you could win around 150-200 points every 10 battles if you won 90% of them, so you could reach that point with natural regeneration, now you will need 5000+ battles. Illogical, where are we supposed to get so many kisses? And that not counting the time to perform so many battles ...

It is now broken beyond nightmare. And I am still asking myself why, but why had they the "brilliant" idea of "improving" something that was working. To solve a problem of 1% of players stuck in a bad bubble of opponents, now they have done that to most of the players. Really ridiculous.

Since I do get the expected mojo and also expected opponents offered at my level and mojo range, did you guys check whether the mojo you get is wrong (not 20 or up while you have some or less mojo), or whether you just get opponents with much less mojo than you? And if the latter, are there actually players in the leaderboard around you, within your level range, which could have been taken? Would be good to find out whether or what exactly is bugged. I mean there are always circumstances where you are just alone in your mojo and level range for a while, so just seeing low points for 1-2 days is not a prove of a bug.

I had a similar problem with the old patch at some point - I think you are in some proverbial local minima. I managed to escape it and get to more people by taking riskier fights, but with a higher mojo payout

It seems in my +/-1000 mojo span there are just 9 players within -25/+15 levels, and only one has more mojo than me, unfortunately he is very strong so my win chance is under 50% and I cannot fight him under risk of losing the small mojo gained from the other players 😭.

Edit: I don't usually complain about this, because is a personal decision, but, why don't more people use the weakening team strategy in season, is a win/win situation, when you are not atacking, you put a weak team so it is easier for other players, and in the end benefits you because weaker players climb in the rankings allowing you to get easy mojo.

Edit2: The old pairing used a wider level range, you could get players 40-50 levels apart so it gave more chance to get players around your mojo, reducing the level difference makes that more difficult so you end up with more extreme options: very low or very high.

Ok, reading the algorithm, I understand the problems described by some people.

If you are a high level player not using your natural regen everyday, you are stuck because there aren't many high level players around you after some time and catching up is nearly impossible.

I suppose there are other problems I'm failing to see but player level should not be taken into account at all I think since there is no detriment for the chosen opponent you choose and win against.

Edit: About what I call "subbrackets", here is what I mean :

image.thumb.png.49815bc499fe86f1b09bbf24ab90da55.png

I'm currently stuck at 50+ and since 2 weeks, I'm never paired against higher ranked players. The only time I gain more than 1 point is when I don't play for some time and people around me go past me

Okay so it all works as expected, but some of you are in a level and mojo range, where simply no player is in range which gives more mojo and is beatable with high chance.

What I would change is to make level and mojo upper and lower borders equal in all cases, so that one is always within the range of all players who are in one's range. Currently, it is possible that there are only 4 players within your range 16 - 25 levels below you are close to 1000 mojo below you (or ~87-75% level/mojo below you for low level/mojo values). In this case, both can be stuck: you get only 1 mojo for defeating them, and you are outside of their level range, hence they cannot get 40 mojo for defeating you. If their are not using #WeakInSeason teams, they may have also bad changes to beat each others, hence do only slowly catch up. This would certainly help with the problem, since whenever you see only 1 mojo opponents, you can be sure those see you as 40 mojo opponent, so that you can help them catch up with a #WeakInSeason team, to benefit from it later on.

So I'm not the only one having issues with Seasons match making, and even with the people with 1-3 Mojo gain, I still lose to them due to them having powerful team set ups. Barely managing in tier 57, and still needing another 5 tiers to get the second girl.

I like this new system, because i win most of my battles and it takes less time to access the last reward. I understand that there are people who like to crush their enemies, but I prefer not loosing my time, and now I win 40 points for each victory, not something like 20.

If I often had three opponents bringing in a very low number of points I would have a different opinion, but it happens to me so rarely that when it does I consider it as temporary bad luck and it will be different next time. And it doesn't last long indeed. Usually there is one or two very weak (and very less rewarding) opponents, but the third is a good one.

Maybe players with issues should avoid trying to rush, according to me this new system is an anti-rush system. Except if you have a very strong team, let the very strong teams win their battles and stop to be possible opponents for you.

Excellent reaction from KK, and I must say that it has improved the mojo rewards, now the lower range is more in the 5-10 than in the previous 1-3.

I will speak for someone who wasn't struggling before, it also seems slightly better for me.  I see less edges (40s and 1s but I never really liked that anyway, I am patient).  Not to brag but basically to say the change didn't ruin at least one non-struggling group so that's good too.

Adding to the Patch Notes:

KK had changed the formula for the lvl of opponents. Now there is a much wider range in higher levels to gain opponents so the chance increase, that the game find more different opponents even if you are much below or much advanced.

Maybe that was announced and I missed it.  I would have used the unannounced thread but I have no idea if that applies to earlier story or not :)

I haven't noticed until your message but I lean more on the side that they forget it (or break the thing) than removing it from the game.
I haven't read anything about it too. I had only 5 steps left in the last available quest so I finished the quest.
