I myself also have little respect for what I perceive as "modern feminism" where certain people will blindly label everything as "sexism" and where their ideals more or less threaten the entire human race. After all: according to some modern feminists it's totally wrong to have or enjoy sex because that's only a form of oppression (I kid you not). However, let's also not get carried away here and and start labeling every talk about women as being feminism, that's in my opinion just as stupid and just as bad as modern feminism itself. There's no male shaming here. And there's also no women shaming. Just have a look to lexicon about insults towards women : there are so much words in many languages to insult women and their sexuality, and no equivalent in number or violence in the lexicon to offend men. It is interesting because in our entire history men have killed each other while protecting the women from harm. yes women made children and thats bad, but no one ever really thinks about the Billions of dead young men (as young as 15 sometimes) that die horrible deaths in the battlefield while women were being hidden behind castle walls or behind fences. everyone forgets the truly horrible violence that men have had to endure in order to protect society and protect their families and their daughters from invaders or even from dangerous animals. As a female, there is a lot more respect toward women in this game than other h-games. There are, however, a few times that I got a bit uncomfortable. In particular were some scenes with Bonny that almost crossed the line into rape due to lack of consent. I was at the point where I was about to drop the game due to it, but thankfully it was averted. I also don't care for the fact that although the women in this universe are generally intelligent and capable, they are still somehow incapable of solving their world/stage's problem without the help of our male protagonist. I understand that this is how RPGs in general since if people could solve their own problems, we wouldn't have RPGs so because of that, I'm not complaining too much, but it does leave a bad taste in my mouth. Why had "the man" paid for dinner for "the woman"? Because she either got no job due to her being a female - or she got a bad / less paid job due to her being female. And her job at home if she was doing household or growing up kids - this still gets no attention as a job you need time and can get exhausted from (to mention just two things). As a more or less well-known economic professor said: "if I marry my housemaid, I destroy domestic income - that is crazy". So on the other hand I go with you to equalize women to men - but in just pulling back "duties/power/money" what a man gets due to being a male is something different than giving women the same "power / opportunities" as the men already have. So instead of lowering the wages while women "stream" into a "man's" business the women should just get the same as the men did before. Because in a capitalistic society mones is one of the strongest keys to power. What does it mean if a man opens the door for a woman? That she is responsible being "cute and adorable and good looking" because she can't do anyting else? It's just common sense and basic manners not to shut the door when someone comes after you. Anyway, about paying the bill... I think it totally depends on circumstances. If I asked a girl out to a restaurant, then it would only be natural if I paid the bill. I am the one taking someone else to a certain place, so why should that person pay for it? Nothing to do with anything, again just with common sense and basic manners.
