You go and pay cash by clicking on the three buttons displayed here. Spending 100.000 gives 40 points, a million 400 and ten million 4.000 points.

Since all three buttons are greyed out/inactive you apparently haven't enough cash in your pocket, meaning below 100.000.

Those donation contests are vastly unbalanced for new players. I would advise you to ignore them for now. Your cash is much better spent in guy and stat upgrades than in donation contests, where it just vanishes.

I 'm quite agree with you Bella naris, but sometimes it is more interesting to sell something, give you 50 points. 10 green globs cost 100k. It gives you 10 objects you cans sell, so 10*50, 500 points, more interesting than 40 points.
