As far as I´m aware he pretty much get´s told character a is a parody of character b ... (sorry in advance if I missremember something ^^) (there are a few instances we´re the parody isn´t really too clear imho but that´s not up to him, I f.e. am surprised that the they supposably haven´t seen AoT because the "mikasa" parody is more of a annie parody to me (she´s an ackermann she can´t become a titan )) Also : @Kirigakure is awesome just fyi .. you guys should know as well! Among many other things, Kinkoid have a very unique understanding of what is or isn't legal in the context of their game. For some reason, Rosso started caring about such things about 4-5 months ago, out of the blue. He/they incorrectly assume that tons of oddly-specific and extremely different things are "illegal" and/or should be frowned upon as if they might as well be. And that taking the imaginary moral high ground in Q&As and other communications by listing those things is good for their image. It's not. On the contrary, as far as I'm concerned at least. But I wager that anyone with a better grasp of what type of pornographic material can be outlawed or not in some countries or regions would have a similar reaction. Hint: for starters, these are drawings, not real live action let alone real real live action (eg not fantasy slash roleplay). Basically none of the laws against this or that type of porn apply to purely fictional drawn characters. And furries, now, really? ^^ You mean the sexual fantasy that can literally not be real and only exists as a subgenre of hentai slash drawn porn? Also LMAO at "we can't do furry stuff" when their flagship character and hundreds of others are basically furries, or half-way anyways. I guess they got it confused with bestiality in a similar fashion as they confused underage sex with incest. 👎 Anyways. Gotta pick my battles, and although I'm genuinely annoyed by their sudden and misguided retroactive pretend disapproval of incest as a fantasy in their game... I don't care much for the other kinks caught in that seemingly random list of "no-noes" that came out of Rosso's... hat around December. And it's hard and long enough to get them to change their minds on more fundamental things in the game. But sure, let's be super inclusive but alienate a significant amount of fans for no valid reason without even realizing why or how. No furries, no incest, and no giantess while we're at it (next on the list of popular fetishes on perfectly legal sites like DeviantArt or HentaiFoundry... ^^). /rant. In other news: oh, so Neferkitty was supposedly a parody of an anime character too? Do they really have to start each and every character as a "parody" of one of these? Isn't Bunny just a generic neko girl (originally)? Isn't being a character based in Ancient Egypt whose name is an obvious dad joke on Nerftiti enough of a reference? More importantly, are some players so into this "parody" aspect of the game that whether they like a new character in HH or not depends on what they think of the "source material" Kinkoid makes a nod to while creating it? That's fine if it's the case, to each their own etc. I seldom care about that myself, and being spoon-fed the reference of the parody every time honestly spoils my own fun a little bit, to be honest. I do like the occasional big parody of a trope or a series I've followed back in the day (like the Saint Seya world, the Mario 2 world, the Dragon Ball world etc.). But if I actively perceived every HH character as nothing more than a pastiche of a specific character from the more recent otaku world, I would actually enjoy the game a lot less, not more. Sure, the entire Haremverse is a patchwork of nods and pastiches at its core, but it still manages to have its own voice and vibe, not directly derived from any one source. It might be a Frankenstein monster, but it's alive. And I love it, not the individual dead body parts that served as its starting point. I have the same approach to their characters. That's why it's such a bad joke to me that Fab won't let Fabienne have sex with the MC and actually earn her place in his harem, just because she was loosely based on him originally, and HE would for sure be a lesbian if he were a girl in this game (or more obviously he doesn't even perceive her as a female character, just as his own avatar invading the game, and HE is a straight male IRL, so his female "parody" in the game cannot have sex with a male, you see...). /rant /rant /rant Okay, you guys made my day. There isnt any reason for it to be illegal either; anthropomorphic art is literally thousands of years old. We've drawn people and gods with animal parts and characteristics since ancient Egypt and beyond and it's a major part of mainstream WB/Pixar animation til today. Your theory they mustve mistaken it with rules on beasiality is likely true. Which would be a really dum dum mistake. The banking system Kinkoid uses for their payment processor gets touchy over certain subjects that they deem illegal or legal grey areas and already struggle to find partners who want to work with porn. In a nutshell, your point goes in the same amalgam culture I described in mine back then. Online payment processors are also super poorly informed on what's legal or not in porn and also super afraid of the US laws due to the aggressive way the US have been bullying the English-speaking online world as if they owned the freaking place. (Megaupload, anyone?... V_v) It's all part of the same process. And it's an ugly and stupid one, on top of being illegitimate and oppressive. Just saw the tags and wanted to answer ^^; It gets super weird about it cause they play fast and loose with the rules all over the place. Years ago, Kaos said that Bunny having ears got the banks a little skiddish but it still passed, yet they have no problem going for that at any given moment. The Pokemon event should've crossed all kinds of lines, and there were a few questionable ones in the Cute Monster event, especially in GH that got Sidon from Zelda with barely any changes. So, you know... don't shoot the messenger if next week or somewhere down the line they pull something that completely contradicts everything, lol. I honestly have no idea where the line is, and I'm not 100% sure if Kinkoid truly does either. I only know that's the explanation when furry parodies end up more humanized or weird. Oh, and saw the point about parodies earlier. Almost everything is a parody in some form, the number of OCs is rather few and mostly limited to the mascot families. Although Bunny herself was once said (I think by FAB?) to also be inspired by Naru Narusegawa from Love Hina. The Comix Bunny is one of Catwoman, but bunny themed. Clicker has more OCs going on than HH, but Clicker's girls are largely derived with each girl filling some archetype or trope of some form. Having a deal of experience with this banks will take a very risk adverse/conservative approach to onboarding/retaining clients unless the client is huge (think one of the UK high street bookmakers or maybe Pornhub in this sector). It is only when transactions are significant enough that it will make a noticable difference to the bank's quarterly report that the bank will be willing to take any risks at all on this front. They do check-up on 'high risk' client sectors accounts on a periodic basis. So if KK have blurred the lines in any way since the last time the bank looked, they could quickly find themselves without banking facilities. No banking facilities = no way to send or receive money. Business dead. And banking facilities in this type of market are NOT easy to replace. Been there, done that. Watched a business almost die due to the unexpected loss of banking services. This is not about legality - and I understand many players would like to see a bit more of a liberal and inclusive approach taken - it's about business realities. Banks don't make the laws. They just interpret them.
