Update old Legendary 5

To be honest, I don't see the point into having Champions Legendary 5 with lower scores, now that KK practically give away girls every week.

I mean: to collect Murane, Any and Shtupra is waaaay more costly than any Boss Bang, and the result is a lower profile...

The logic of 'escalation' doesn't apply anymore, new players can obtain L5 with better profiles since the start. Conversely, collecting the older L5 (like  Levitya) had become harder.

Updating profiles doesn't stop the completionism compulsion (you want all the girls anyway), and does'nt break the math.

I really don't see why not.

Logic does not seem to be the path they follow. example: Comix harem has been out a little over a year and had 6 Boss Bangs all of which have only 3 star girls. now Pornstar harem only a few months has its first Boss bang with a 5 star. There is no pattern what so ever to explain that inconsistency.

The same logic could be applied to revived Legendary 5 girls (The older ones), as they are even more expensive than Champions (And you have to wait much longer to even see them)

Still, I don't think it's a good idea. I would rather see extra Champions with brand new girls, than artificially upgrading older girls. L5 girls are good no matter what, even the weakest ones.

How exactly one thing should exclude the other?

There's no dictate that upgrading Murane mean they will consider the development concluded by consequence - that's not a logical point, only an assumption on your part based on your gameplay routine. They continually delivered new events and we played all of them - some people pay 5600 kobans for older low profiles and they're happy about. Other activities will be added - I don't think adding 500 points to Murane will lock the metagame and development 'cause everyone is happy with Murane alone.

So...

Why, again, not doing it?

I think is just a matter of having them notice some paradox. Like how much time cost you to drop Any compared to Taurus.

Oh, absolutely; that's not the point. The general trend of the game is to add new, more powerful girls over time, so players are encouraged to get new girls all the time, instead of just collecting 3 girls of their own class and be done with it. So by design, newer girls are meant to be more powerful than older girls. It's a never ending race to power.

That's why I'm fine with adding new, more powerful girls to champions (Even, why not, a Mythic Champion? At some point, KK will have to add more sources for Mythic Girls); but I don't like the idea of artificially strengthening older girls.

It's not a matter of conflict or whatever. Sure, the devs can do both. But there's one idea I like (New, more powerful girls), and one I don't like (Artificially boosting old girls). That's all.

It's also not a matter of cost. Costs are all over the place already, with girls from Legendary Days being almost as expensive as Mythic Girls, while also being slower to revive (= more exclusive), and also being weaker. That bothers me more than Champion girls being 5% weaker. Not because of the cost, not because of their weakness, but because no girls are supposed to be more exclusive that Mythic girls.

If Champion Girls are really outdated, because they're too hard to obtain, compared to the value they provide; then I would say: make champions easier to defeat. Then, they would be a good entry-level option for new players, until they can reliably beat Boss Bang every month. But I think KK already did something along these lines some time ago (Although I didn't see it mentioned in the patch notes, so I don't know if it was a bug or a feature, or if it's still working like this). Initially, you had to defeat Stage 5 of a champion to unlock the next Champion. But some months ago, all Champions have been unlocked (So you could immediately challenge Ryu, Visor and Alban. Even though, at lvl 200, they would just kick your ass, of course)

Another option might be to make it so that the player automatically gets the girl their first time beating Stage 5. For example, I lucked out getting Any my first time through Visor and at that point she was my only Orange 5-star Legendary, so I used her quite a bit. Then eventually I got Taurus and a few others so now I don't use Any as much since she's weaker.  I still haven't gotten Shtupra, however (every time I think "this must be the time" it turns out there's yet another scenery I haven't gotten), so by the time I get her I probably won't use her much because I now have several other Dark girls that are stronger. If they ensured the player gets the girl on the first go-through, the Champion girls could act as a kind of "Entry Level L5s" for newer players, like you said. And it does take quite a while to get through Visor and Alban at lower levels, so it would feel like an earned reward.

Interesting. That must have changed in the past few months as I still had to unlock each Champion one at a time back in the beginning of the year. And yeah, I can't imagine fighting Alban as a brand new player 😵
