Few questions about the new Mythic gear. Currently level 299 about to unlock my first piece from Demon Pleaser. Should I collect it asap or will it be locked at lvl 299? Or does it not really matter and it scales as you lvl up? Also I'm sure the answer is yes but has anyone gotten any mythic gear from MP3 or MP6s?

Read this.

Your level doesn't matter, so collect it asap.  Mythic gear levels up independent of your player level.  It requires other gear and money (ymens), to max it to lvl 20.  Then, it's better than lvl 500 gear.

They only drop from the MP w/ MPx1s, not MPx3/6s.  Don't waste them on this, save them for L5s.

I found a wallet warrior w/ 6 mythic gear.  Here's what they looked like:

I could tell there was something different, b/c their atk looks 47% boosted, when the visible max should be ~30% w/ 3 cords.

They all match his hardcore class, for +10% atk and +2% ego.

They also all have a defense bonus, but only 2 match his balanced defense team.  Still, that's 2 of my ideal resonance bonuses, in just the first week they're introduced.  I assume he favors a dom team on offense.

I think they're all maxed to lvl 20.

No, but I genuinely think that's an oversight. For fairly much everything else, MPx3s and MPx6s give more value and with better odds than MPx1s (except when MPx1 spins land on a rare lucky drop), which is how these three types of MP orbs are normally balanced against one another.

Better, rarer and more expensive MP orbs definitely should give a guaranteed mythic gear, or at the very least have a much higher chance of giving a mythic gear than your basic MPx1 orbs.

I'm more likely to do a guitar solo than a keyboard one since I actually play guitar (I play keyboards too, but using three or four fingers, I'm far from a master of the instrument; I can barely use it to compose and tediously add layers and effects in a chill recording environment ^^). I think this heavily depends on who the free player is and what you mean by "competing".

I know of a couple free players who have posted in this thread who will have no problems getting Mythic gear in amounts that can work out fine over time due to good strategies generating Koban income to spend those Kobans on Mythic gear sources, plus drops from orbs.

If competing means actually winning D3 somewhat regularly, that's not likely even before this new feature. If it means top 15 somewhat regularly it's not going to be an issue at all. So if you mean competing for a top 4 spot, then we'll see. I suspect we'll see some completely free players in top 4 D3 spots on a reasonable basis.

I'm a free player. I now have 3 Mythic Equipment. My last 2 drops have been identical, except for image. I'm not deterred.

I'm trying to figure out if it's bad or good,that I thought of House of the Rising Sun before I got to the bottom.

I envision that keyboard solo as a really long post rather than a musical instrument.

You can basically remove the word "free" and this holds just as true. Which is the primary reason why Redbeard's whine about "free players" being supposedly more vulnerable to this new RNG bump through a new meta transition was misguided and laughable.

The dropprate ME from MP is VERY low. I spent somewhere around 250-300 1xMO and received only 2 ME so far. And it was somewhere in the first 30 attempts 😢

Franka said something similar.  He got 4 M gear from the first 30 MPx1s, and then nothing from 200.  (On Nutaku).

Personally, I haven't used any MPx1s yet, besides ~9 free spins since Friday.  I'll wait until there's a girl I actually want.

Also, didn't rush through the PoA to get one.

I assume the drop rate from the MP is 1%, just like girls.

I'd wait to switch, since you can only equip 2 of them.  It would make 100% sense to switch if you had 6 HC gear.  Switching classes would invalidate your mono gear, but I think you kept full sets of them, lol.  You'd just get a 2% ego bonus and 2% atk bonus, if you maxed 2 of those, and switched to HC.  I like that Ultrabot one, w/ Atk/Def.

The Ultrabot is the only one for the long run. The two others are garbage (ego/harmony) so only for the first set of "rare stat boosting" interesting.

Haven't gotten any mythic item drops for Mythic Panchinko yet. I haven't been paying attention to how many MP orbs I've spent, but my stash is now empty. Got several girls, not a single mythic item. So I grumbled and unlocked the PoA for a second mythic item. I was a bit afraid I'd end up with a duplicate, but fortunately I got a different item slot and Charm resonance with Attack bonus so I'm pretty happy with that (only way it could be better is with Balance resonance instead of Eccentric).

Hoping we get more mythic item drops by other means, because I want to be moving away from legendary items ASAP given the power difference and the drop rate is not being nice to me.

When I use the term competing, I mean top 4 which I am able to do more often than not.  I am already seeing a handful of players maxed out with equipment that I can no longer compete with.  I am not a totally free player.  Plese go on an tell me how it is laughable that paying players can now win a will for whatever amount of time it takes the non whales to get a complete set of gear.  

I accept that people disagree.  I don't think however the thought that such a powerful game mechanic gives an extreme advantage to the whales and, the making only a few available on no luck related game parts for players is laughable.  

I will most likely switch from going for top4 to top 15.

Got my first mythic gear.  I used some league refills for the PoA's tier 20.  It matches my charm 🌹 class, but it boosts ego 👑 not atk 🔥, so it's only half trash 🗑️ by @bolitho76's standards, lol.  I maxed it out b/c I could.  Made sure to be careful what gear I chose as fodder.  I started favoriting all useful mono gear, so I could have the option to switch classes smoothly later.  It gives a huge 548-659 boost to my stats, since I'm not lvl 500 yet (lvl 485 atm).  Hopefully, the bug that lowers stats won't hurt me too badly in leagues.

I don't think you're (deliberately) trolling at this point, but you're rather confused and use fallacious arguments built around your emotional kneejerk reactions to meta changes rather than rational thinking based on proper data. As a result, you're making laughable claims, but apparently without even realizing which they are or why they're invalid. So, I'll gently elaborate this once (if you still persist with the irrational "US vs THEM" oversimplification claims after that, then I'll just cut you off on this topic).

1. The actual really new and by far most impactful change for the PvP meta with this addition is something you haven't even touched upon, and that I don't remember anyone else pinpointing let alone spelling out on the forum yet.
   
   These powerful equipment pieces are completely divorced from Player Level slash Player XP (well, technically there's the requirement to be level 200, but yeah, might as well read "finish the tutorial first!" for all intents and purposes, here). Before this addition, a baby whale could purchase late-game power with real money instead of spending the time for most things that matter in PvP, but not equipment directly. They could already purchase Player Level 500 and then collect top-tier equipment pieces as they stumble upon them just like regular veterans from there. But they couldn't outright buy top-tier piles of stats to equip without investing into reaching max Player Level first. Now they can (well now everybody can, on paper, but yeah this is obviously going to benefit players who are both relatively new to the game and big real-money spenders more than anyone else).
   
   This would actually be a legit concern to an extent. Even though, honestly, this isn't that big of a change long term to the power balance for high-end PvP competition compared to where we already were. You've failed to correctly identify or at least mention this as the significant shortcut it offers to current and future whales for this game, anyways.
    
2. The scarcity of the mythic equipment pieces, along with the massive purely luck-based variance involved anytime any player gets their hands on one affect everyone equally. Those who get additional opportunities to roll new ones thanks to their real-money investments are obviously at a clear advantage in both the current short-term race to full mythic gear raw stats, and the extremely long-term secondary races for usable, then good, then eventually great resonance bonuses to top off the sheer boost from raw stats alone.
   
   But this is no significant change compared to everything else. We were already at a point in terms of monetization and power curve where it was perfectly possible to outright purchase what you need to transform a brand-new account into one that can compete with or even outperform F2P veteran accounts. We've seen such "baby whales" pop up everywhere for the past year or so, and while their presence in high-end PvP competition is an extra challenge for F2P and small budget long-term PvP players... the positive impact their real-money investments in the game we all know and love outweighs that inconvenience slash concern if you look at the bigger picture.
   
   So no, this new meta-shaking change to the max power level possible is not that big a deal for good PvP players who know what they're doing and take the time to apply long-term winning strategies.
    
3. This isn't something to agree or disagree upon, it is what it is. You either see it or you don't. Worst case scenario, you overreact like crazy and try to start a Mythic Gear Panic as you did (again, unknowingly or unwittingly as far as I can tell, which is why I'm taking the time to clarify here). Just like the Satanic Panic, the Red Meat Panic or most other cases of mass hysteria in uninformed groups of people, this doesn't hold up to rigorous scrutiny with a rational eye.
   
   There's the short-term race to full 4k to all stats. ALL serious PvP contenders will get there in the next couple months or so (maybe more in case of extreme bad luck rolling the same slot multiple times). Once most top 4 contenders have 1 mythic piece for each of the 6 equipment slots, the differences in power level between good F2P and P2P players will be negligible again in that regard.
   
   Then, there are mid-term, long-term, very long-term to ridiculously distant long-term secondary races. The race for one, then two matching and actually usable, then good bonus(es) for each of the 6 slots on top of the raw stat bonus that ANY mythic piece of gear provides short-term regardless. This will take ages no matter what and will vary immensely from player to player and roll to roll. Whales obviously have an advantage there since they get more re-rolls more frequently, but they still also need indecent amounts of luck over time to get there. More importantly, they also need to be good players with good planning, meta analysis and strategy (or good guidance from more knowledgeable players along the way). Sure, baby whale farms such as HPF and no doubt plenty of other prominent clubs make PvP competition harder in that regard too. Again, this is no different than for any and all other aspects of competitive PvP in this game.
