What if the class and theme of each equipement appear directly next of the item's lvl ? I'm using a userscript maintained by a player which adds a bit of functionality to the game to make it a bit more playable called HH++ BDSM. One of the feature is to add equipment filters to the MC equipment screens and this is a screenshot of it that I've posted.
