Do the answers in the secondary story matter?

Now that I'm caught up (again) the the main line story, I've been diving more into the secondry.

I was amused/delighted (somewhere in between) to see that there's you are offered a choice to certain bits, like you can pick your path.

Has anyone done any analysis on if it matters what you choose?

I am not completely caught up yet but I just got to one that made me question it (ironically I was asked if I had any questions which seems like it might be a branching response unless the answer person was just snarky - hopefully not a spoiler).

Basicly it comes back to the same point later, as far as I remember.

as of right now I put these options in 1 of 3 category

1. the 2 options do nothing (both option give the same return)

2. the 2 options have there own little side path before meeting back up (you would need at least 2 accounts to see both paths)

3. one option is a skip and the other is a off path(Skip options you do not want unless you don't care about the story, but if your trying to get the all the text with a minimum of 2 accounts you do not want the skip option as the path option will most of the time have another 2 path option before they then cross over where the skip would have put you)

1 and 2 you can't really tell without looking at the code and seeing if the id_step_to is the same or not. the 3rd is a little harder to tell from the code, the two stand outs I've seen so far is the step id is a much farther apart and the text option saying something like "get on with it" where the other is asking for more info.

Looks like Quest 3 is very simple and only has 1 skip so if you pick right you get all entrys

By the way, it would be nice if they made it possible to replay these quests (with full energy expenditure, of course), so that you could see all the pictures and energy would not be wasted by those who have nowhere else to spend it.

ya a quest reset option would be nice if there going to have a choose system like this.

If so, wondering if there's any art difference or just text.

right now I'm using my main and test account. I will need to make another to get quest 1 scene 75 to 76 but waiting to see if they do come up with something for better replay. Also for viewing once I have the data from both accounts I load the full merge version into my database so I can scroll though it with out the gaps. as for the scenes they can be different from the other set. one sample in scene 45 quest 1 this shows up

and does not happen in the other set.

Quest 5 also needs 2 accounts for all and at the moment seems to be bugged when you try to finish it. it it gives error and does not give out Lynn Usagi like the code is indicating so you can't even replay until they fix it. (Edit: looks like its fixed now)

Looks like Options are back. This one has a few skips that still have 1 entry so you would need 4 account to get them all this time.

World 2 of Bunny Who?

Also Arianwen is typo-ed 3 different ways on this quest which is going to be a very interesting ticket to try to explain if they don't understand scene id

Ok options getting a bit more complex and I'm up to needing 5 accounts to get all the entry's. with the 4 I have from the last one I have all but 1 entry of the 197 scenes and what seems to be 3 paths which I wonder how or if they will be kept track of in later quests. 

1 Path skips H battle and makes friend

1 Path has H battle and splits 2 ways

- You lose H battle and owe him a favor he will find you later for

- You win H battle and he owe you a favor you will call him on later

So I have no clue how they plan to merge the later quest to account for these chooses or make it generic enough that it does not matter.

Once I get the 5th account made and get the last missing entry I get the map of chooses made to post here.

Update: I have the 5th account setup and working my way to this quest. Scene 150 its what I need to confirm but there is enough into that I'm 99% sure this map is right.

Looks like we get a break in World 2 Quest 4, There are no chooses in this Quest.

World 2 Quest 5 need 4 accounts and at scene 103 is where it splits to where

you only see H scene with Lynn only or include Bunny and Nimueh. and if you pick Lynn only side at scene 106 one option makes you see no H scene at all just them talking.

Also there is a typo at scene 159 where Lynn is put in as Lyn

Well World 2 Quest 6 needs 2 account however its also bugged in a way I don't know how they can fix after you have already done it since you never get the option to to do chooses again. You can see below in red There is a missing chooses area that I guessing would get you to the missing 2 entry's which i'm guessing is 1 for each choose but it could also be a pointless choose that then gives a 32 to 33 flow

I'm not sure how I can even report this error since I don't think support understands the choose system but here is a sample of this error from my database

As you can see for the normal chooses in green you get a path jump and then a later jump realine to merge back to normal path. but at entry 31 where it looks like you should be given a choose you get a jump insted with no chooses skipping 32 and 33 with no way to hit them.

Not sure if we have anyone at KK that can look at this as I know this would go way over supports head.

World 2 Quest 7 need 8 accounts but yet again 2 quest in a row have issues and based on the same options in other areas you can tell where the bug is not that support will admit the mistake.

The 2 in red are going to the same place and since it then jumps over 3 entrys tells you option 2 was ment to go to 2204217 not 2204214. but support is only going to say your chooses matter so choose wisely. So until someone at KK addresses this issue there choose storys can't be trusted to work as intended.

Time for a special edition of KK hears what it wants to hear. We ask for Bunny who? Parallel Adventure chooses to be in reply so we can explore all the options and they hear Side Quests with no context on how that scene comes to be.

This I find hard to be leave since what your about to see below for "Men in Tights" is the only why you would miss the sex scenes is if you choose "On second though - sex seems dumb." Which call me crazy, seems to me a good way to skip a sex scene does it not?
Well enough of my breaking the 4th wall and now for the part you've been waiting for. How the Side Quest compere to the real Parallel Adventure. Which spoiler, KK does not have us covered because they are not the same... close, but not the same.

Text while its basically the same with the choose some times being spoken by bunny on its own line and other times merged with the line that comes next. The scenes are different with girls not in the same spot or same expressions even in the sex scene and some totally different

That has been my point to KK and why I suggested they make chooses an option in replay. and since the errors I've been reporting about the paths above can't be seen by anyone else unless they have a system like mine KK does not see it as an issue as no one else reports them. Its hard to report something you don't know is happening.

World 2 Quest 8 needed 4 accounts and didn't having any pathing issues this time.
