On a more serious note, yeah... another feature with another resource and it's PvP which is really badly balanced in this game with bugs in seasons and leagues.

I'm waiting to see what it really looks like but I'm really not enjoyed by this.

Its absolute aids that you cant earn 100 shards within the free path.

The poor schmucks still paying for this hot piece of garbage. I guess they really must be into findom, I dont really have another explanation how you can be treated like shit day in day out and you still open your wallet.

It seems that KK copied laby mechanics when creating Penta Drill... together with some roles and skills being nerfed on opponent. When you fight someone with sexomancers, their girls will be revived with only 1/20 of ego. Similar things with fluffer role and submissive skill. It means that good laby team can be strong atk team and weak def team to help others. 🤔

I suggest not telling KK staff about this or they may change it. 🤫 I mention it here because I know they don't visit the forum anyway.

The info note states that the reward track resets every 14 days but the screen shows expiration in 18 days. So which is correct? If it is 14 days, that means the second 25 shard drop is always out of reach on free path. It needs 3600 points but even perfect score in 14 days only gives 3530 points (24 hrs x 10 pt x 14 days + 17 reward drill x 10 pt).

Does anyone knows what are the repeatable reward at every 100 points at the end of the track?

Creating team is frustratingly slow for me. The game got slower as I made more teams. By the time, I change the 3rd team, it takes a minute for each click to update. I can only edit one team at a time reasonably. Change one team and validate. Is this related to the large harem issue?

I can't partially edit the girls' teams. Girls are blocked in some slots.
The templates don't work at all: I created a template, but the girls are added according to some strange principle that has nothing to do with the template.

Clearing a team only applies to the current window. Switching to another team and then returning to the cleared one will refill it.

Seems like quite lame feature. So it looks like mega event and has even worse rewarding than that for a 3* character, it then works sort of like Leagues but mechanics are as for the Labyrinth? And yes, at the end of the event people may not even get the character or need to go through several iterations to get it for free? Quite a salad for nothing. May play casually but definitely won't be thing to invest

Honestly I really don't understand all that thing with templates. If player want to put the strongest team for the game part, which should be the ideea for any player, then it should be quite clear and straight forward algorithm. So I really don't understand why there should be any template?

Strongest girls don't make strongest team with this battle system. See Labyrinth thread on Q&A. Roles and elements matter more. That's why template would be useful.

You’re the one who defines this algorithm so that you don’t have to do a bunch of the same actions every time you create a team.

I found a long and tedious solution: First, go through all teams and assign girls from the very bottom of the suggested list (Because simply clearing the teams does nothing). Confirm and then go to change the teams again to unblock all possible girls at the top. Then move on from team 1 to 5 sequentially and assign the necessary girls.

 

I played battles for all the points I was given at the start of the season – one team loss + two lost points (apparently the team was seriously battered during the battle?). The rest were crushing victories.
I decided to waste some time and watched the battle at x8 speed: the most the auto-composed teams could do was temporarily reduce the front slots HP to 80-90%, after which the fluffers restored them. They didn't even get to resurrection, and the sexomancers were left idle.

 

BTW, paid cards really boost the number of battles you can play in Penta Drill — way more than in the Leagues

I figured out the same thing, and WOW that is/was a tedious task!!

This is just another of a long list of "decisions" made by Rosso to put into this game, that HE is the only one who wants it, AND his is the only opinion that matters, no matter how many fucking times he says that he "values" us Player's input and opinions, which is just another lie from him (he reminds me of Drumpf, the Liar in Chief of the USA).     LOL

My first impressions after playing the new feature Penta Drill

 

Mechanics: 

You create 5 girl teams and battle agains the 5 teams of other players of similar strength.

The team creation is tedious and difficult to do in one pass (at least that is my impressión for the first time) At least you only do it one time (per cycle) There are options to make rules to auto fill but it takes a lot of time to make a meaningful set of rules. 

You can choose to battle between 4 other players, and preview their teams before battle s oyou have the option to battle the one that most suits you.

You have 10 drills that regenerate one per hour, that makes 24 per day, and 336 in each cicle of 14 days (418 as this first time is 18 days long)

When you launch the battle you can skip all fights or one by one, you only see the total points at the end, but no info for each team fight.

 

Score:

You get 2 point for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss, for a maximum of 10 points against that player, each time you battle.

That makes 3360 points maximum (4180 for a 18 days cycle) if we add 17 drills in the free path before 3600 points, that makes 3540 points (4350 points)

 

Rewards:

two x25 shards of a 3 star girl at 1320 points and 3600 points in the free path

two x25 shards of the same girl at 420 points and 3000 points in the koban path (2600 kobans)

More additional rewards, to add to your resources, including a few more drills, 

 

Conclussions: 

team building: tedious, fortunately you only do it once per cycle. As you don't always fight random teams, but some players put a strong ones, you can try to counter different types of team with your own, but in general, if a team is good for labyrinth it will suit you in penta drill.

battle: we need to know the points for each team fight and not only the total of the 5 fights, the only way to know is spend 5+ minutes looking at all the battles to end.

score: with a good built team (similar as in labyrinth but without relic help) you can consistently make 9-10 points each time selecting the weaker opponent. you need more than 8 points per drill if you aim for the 3600 points.

rewards: 50 shards behind a pay wall of 2640 kobans? not for a 3 star girl. The usual additional rewards are just a plus.

In summary: more time to spend in the game for half a girl.

It seems that the maximum number of rounds is not per team fight but with all 5 fights. I noticed that the 5th fight would end shorter in a draw when earlier fights lasted longer. It may be a misconception since I can't tell the exact number of rounds. It would be helpful if they show the round number.

After "learning" only somewhat recently, that the Daily Goals are totally "random", I just fucking KNEW that these morons at KK would put this new "feature" in said Daily Goals, AND that on one of the 3 games here that I play (HH, CH, and PH), it would end up "making" (giving) me this new feature as one of those Goals, thus leaving no fucking choice, but to do this tedious thing, if I want to complete all of the Daily Goals that is.     AAARRRGGGHHH!!!       LOL

Actually, the teams are kept between 2 cycles. So no need to do it again.

I assume the bar with penta drill money will be full at the start of each cycle. So, the number of fights you can do per cycle of 14 days is :

10 (or more if you have a monthly card) + 23 + 24×13 + 17 (free rewards) = 362 figths

So you can reach for free 3600 points for the 2nd shards rewards but you don't have a big margin.

About, the paid pass, concidering the rewards (2 LME + 2 perfums + 22 fights), the price is pretty honest but since it's for a 3-star girl, it's absolutely not necessary.

Here's a bunch of bugs I observed in Penta Drill:

1) Checking other teams in pre-battle page changes how opponent team is shown (it stops mirroring player, with front girls being on the left and back on the right).

2) Numbers indicating the order of girls' turns aren't applied correctly in battles 2-5. They are just copied from first battle, even though the girls in next ones move in different order.

3) Girl xp/aff reward is given only to girls from 1st squad. I have uncapped mythic Samane in 3rd team but only Salem from 1st one got xp.

4) I tested also issue mentioned by @Methos2. My 3rd battle on test server ended after 2 rounds, even though none of my or opponent's girls were tired. After this round limit is reset for the next battles.

I reported all these bugs on discord.

Where are you playing? I've never seen those custom avatars.

For me, my power level, is usually higher than 3/4 opponents and i can easily get the 10 points every time. But if i do a 10x i seem to get around 80 points. So 10x is out. Plus my opponent pool seems to be the pulled from about 10 people.

I'm playing on Nutaku. There's a limited set of avatars, mostly characters from popular games hosted on this platform. They are set independently of the game itself and copied inside from the platform.
