Because of my offline period it is also nice to compensate all the refills which were necessary this week with the better koban reward. I also managed to have my lvl 750 breakthrough, so in the near future I have lvl 750 teams which should help me to score good ranks. The fight between Bomba and Mez was ridiculously close (kind of feel bad for Mez, losing by one literal point is tough), but I wasn't in it since I decided relatively early in the week that I wouldn't be able to AM boost myself throughout due to the Golden Robbery and PoA requiring me to do as many Season fights as possible this week. I could and likely should have taken it even easier, considering my initial assessment that no 4th contender existed so top 4 was basically guaranteed for me as long as I didn't perform terribly. Still, I took a couple of RNG-challenging losses (with script predictions at 99% or above) and I ended up having to fight the two low-rank opponents I had left with their boosters on shortly before reset. Congrats to Bomba and Mez, good show old chaps. And welcome to my harem, Janine! ^^ Let's see if I can get a billion gems and books for you by Monday when you'll be suspiciously double-blessed for your very first run. Final rank: 6th Boosters used : 18 legendaries (1 cordycep / 2 gingseng 6 times). No mythic boosters. 101 players -> 100 opponents -> 300 possible fights -> 300 fights performed -> 298 wins and 2 losses Only 4 points between the 1st and the 3rd rank 😱 Congrats to Scarlet-titan, Phoenix and Sovereign for this incredible fight. As expected, I finished in 6th place with the 5 players I identified at the beginning of the league at the 5 first ranks. And as expected, 3 AM boosters were required to hope finish in top 4 (with no guarantee). Alex_i Posted July 28, 2022 Share Posted July 28, 2022 This was my 1st D3 run. I'm level 450, girls at level 700 and having minimal passive bonuses (harem 420 girls). Went mostly unboosted (was boosted for last ~40 fights), in order to get a baseline for this setup. My ranking based on levels was 82/100. Ended up 46th with 4535 point (mean 15.27). The Ogres' names were ☠️Gogeta☠️, Tatouf Métouf, and Yoto. All hailing from a mysterious land, called France. These 3 stood between this lowly F2P Hobbit, and obtaining his precious avg score of 20. The Hobbit had 21 hrs left, so he patiently waited w/ his 3 cords, until there was a chink in their armor. 4 hours passed. 17 hrs before the end, one of the Ogres, Yoto, decided to lower their defenses out of pity, charity, or for a laugh? They set their defense to 7 lvl 1 C1 girls, and the Hobbit graciously accepted the 3x 25 score wins. Another Ogre, Tatouf Métouf, kept their team as strong as possible, but their boosters must've ran out, so there was an individual snapshot, just for them. The Hobbit saw his win chance jump from 3% to 61%, so he struck swiftly, gaining 51 points instead of 30, as a reward for his patience & attentiveness. The final Ogre, ☠️Gogeta☠️, was shrewd and unwavering. He never dropped his defenses, like Yoto, or let his boosters expire, like Tatouf Métouf. The Hobbit's patience diminished, he accepted his meager 15% win chance, attacked thrice, and lost, as expected, only gaining 10 points twice. However,... his last attack succeeded! What are the odds? Who cares! The lowly lvl 456 F2P Hobbit claimed his single 18 score victory, against the lvl 500 Ogre ☠️Gogeta☠️. The Hobbit rejoiced! The battles were over. He obtained his precious 20 score avg, 6k score, & top 15 rank, living to fight another day. The End (The Hobbit will return). Summary Finished 13th w/ a 6005 score, and a 20.22 avg. Used 5x 3 gins, 2x 3 cords, and 1x 2 gin + 1 cord. 0 AME, & 3 refills (45 fights) for 555 kos. Gained 2331 kos in net profit. 9th time in DIII's top 15. Player level just increased once, from 455-456. Level cap is still 700. Teams Last week, I used a 144k dominatrix offense, w/ a 144.4k balanced defense. This week, I used a 156k balanced team, on both offense and defense. Boosters/Refills Spent 555 kos on 3 refills, after the blessings changed, a few hrs after the server reset, when I could switch boosters, from 3 gins to 3 cords. I mostly targeted players that showed an expected score at or above 20. I switched between my balanced and dominatrix teams, to see which had a better expected score. I assume that 12/17 of the players I targeted, w/ less than 130k total power, didn't choose new defense teams before the global snapshot. I used 4 different teams from 149.5k-156.5k, to do 45 fights vs. these 17 players. I won 42/45 of the fights. The few losses surprised me, since they had a < 1% chance, but w/e. I had time to carefully select my 17 targets, taking note of potential scores, elements, total power, fights, kobans, my scores, win chances, and losses. I've never done this, but it made sense to get the most out of my refills, and it paid off in the end. Rankings I was ranked 8th to 26th throughout this league week. I was lower for most of it, since I didn't do extra fights for the KC. I knew I'd have a better team after blessings changed, so I waited until then. Plus, there were many strong opponents near the end, including my last 3, w/ 182.6k teams, mentioned in the Legend above. I dropped from 12th to 13th in the final 4 min, so I don't know the actual final rankings, but I got a SS w/ 4 min left. Someone was hustling in the last few min. Profits Spent 555 kos on 3 refills, so my net profit was 2331 kos. I got in the top 15, so I'm content w/ that, since I didn't buy an AME. I gained more than if I stayed in the top 16-30. Future Outlook After the next blessings change, my current team would drop from 156k to 148k, and my new team would rise to 168-169k, which should create a nice 20k advantage, against some players slow to update their defenses. I should wait until then to use refills, but since I still had 3 cords active, and I was up to the "defeat 42 players in PvP" PoA task, I already used 1 refill (189 kos). This week, my forum advisor @bolitho76 and I, are in the same bracket, and currently at 4th and 5th place. Good luck to the both of us! Attirm Posted July 28, 2022 Share Posted July 28, 2022 (edited) I tested the waters this week to see how I'd do if I shot for top 4 in D3, and I fell short by a couple hundred points and only took 8th place. Kinda surprising that using an AM booster and carefully taking fights rather than autofighting only improved my ranking by 5 or 6 places from my usual, but I guess there's a bit of a "no man's land" between those who are putting in the effort for those top spots and those that are not. Oh well, if I can take top 15 basically without even trying I'm not going to complain. Maybe I'll try again in a few months once I'm level 500 and see if those last 12 levels make a difference. Not just a fairly good amount, but all the top 7 at level 750. Meanwhile I had to go without Magical Noemy. So, I decided to go pretty hard on the second blessing even though it was hardly going to be a strong one. I avoided fighting players who had close to the maximum strength team on the first week, with the thinking they'd "have to" be comparatively weaker on the second blessing. The blessings change didn't go all that well, but at least was quite well timed to the PoA. It kind of started feeling like my methods of predicting who'd be (un)boosted weren't working after all; the predictions were quite horribly off. Eh. But to my credit, the idea of not fighting people who were close to maximum strength on the first week seemed to have been working. I got higher scores on the second week for many first-week high-strength targets. A fair bit of the kiss regeneration was stolen from me by the horrible AME design. But no 100%er is allowed to end my winning streak if I have a say in the matter. Okay, so maybe karistea didn't use the absolute best boosts but still decent ones. Details. Statistics My score: 7488 (99.781% of the score with completely average luck) Expected score: 7504.4 If I had been using the following booster combinations for the duration of the league but with the same fight timing decisions, these would have been my completely average luck scores: AME+3cor 7506.4 AME+2cor,1gin 7480.9 AME+1cor,2gin 7441 AME+2gin,1chlo 7358 3 cordy 7313.6 2 cordy, 1 gin 7277 Perfect precognition score with average luck and AME+3cor throughout: 7547.25 (24.19 average). Troctout Posted July 28, 2022 Share Posted July 28, 2022 (edited) Another expensive 2nd place. 😭 The fight was tight with BigDickDaddy (we were tied for a long time) and yyyxxxccc. I finally got beat at the end by yyyxxxccc who won with a small margin. Congratulation to him (her ?). I don't see what more I could have done considering the PoA and my vacations. The gap corresponds to a bit of bad luck and probably the about 20 fights I've done without an AM booster. It seems that it is more and more difficult to win without using 3 AM boosters unless you are among the oldest with a large harem well maxed (and still). I didn't have the seven top blessed girls. 99 opponents, no loss, 1763 kobans spent, 2,8 AM booster used and an average of 23,6 Next week : my hardest opponent is my Clubmate Test. I'll have to keep a close eye on this little toothy youngster 😄 It will be difficult because the next blessings are not favorable to me at all. Peace and games to everyone. This week's league looks... funny. If it wasn't for Phoenix, who will get his 70th win without breaking a sweat, I'd probably go for my first win and use AME boosters all the time! Behind Phoenix there are half a dozen players on approximately the same strength level. That would have been a fun fight for 1st place. But with Phoenix, I'll stick to my usual approach. No refills, no AMEs, muddling through and crossing my fingers that everyone else is lazy, too. Alas, the first day was RNG-hell so far. Recently the RNG really begs for me to write down every §$#&% single fighting round again to prove his shenanigans... How many players in total in your group? If it's a small one like 297 fights, then you should be pretty much top 4 for sure. If it weren't for Stoned Jesus, you might even have won that one. I recognize about half of the others on your screenshot (including two players from my former club) and none of them try very hard as far as I know. They're the type who grab a top 4 here and there but are usually content with top 15. Stoned Jesus can be a tough opponent IIRC and I think he beat Troctout or maybe Jelom a few weeks back? I'm happy about my 3rd win. I fear only, that the next bracket will be filled with a lot of the really hard winners, after this relativ chilled. Used 1 AM Booster (30 attacks at start from the last League one and 69 for the last battles, 3 Cordys all time.
