Well, it’s been a long time the Ol’ Marshall didn’t say a word around these places…

… word on the street says it’s because he was afraid of « jinxin’ it, Cherokee shaman way »

But no rattlesnake sorcery came to fell upon the Deputy and he made it, reached his secret goal, and he can now safely brag about it, says he

Brag about what?… would you wonder…

Well, brag about saving his beloved Desert Town from bandits 52 times in a row ! A full year of D3 first places (technically, 52 wins and 1 ex-æquo perfect score shared with the Mighty Evil Hollymolly German bandit)

So, It’s with a proud face (and very tired eyes), that the Best Shot in the World Wild West appeared last Thursday before his townsfolk, muttering simply:

« Okay, Fellas, let’s celebrate with a glass of fresh water in the saloon, and off to another winning year it is… »

(And kudos to all of you, outlaws of all shape and form, for giving the Ol’ Man quite the sweat now and then… it’s been a fun year 😊)

Yesterday I thought I have missed my chance to win this League after I had messed some things up with stalker666 - I missclicked on him and on top I accidently clicked on the x3 button. So only 40 points from him, while I calculated with 70 from him. But it was enough even with this low average to win this league!

Didn't expect my second win so soon due to seeing some familiar tough names at the start of this week, shoutout to @garadron and @Alander 😂

I originally aimed for top 4, but decided to go for the win mid-week due to having a pretty decent team for the second blessing and some good attacks on the stronger players, and it paid off! I was on my toes the whole week due to losing lots of points to bad RNG early on.

I finished 2nd this week with 72 lost points. I thought I could win but I had, at the end, some really bad luck combined with opponents which countered my team completely so I lost many points on some fights. I used 1 AME and 1 LME.

I forgot to take a screenshot but here is the raw data (at Thu, 10 Oct 2024 09:48:59 GMT) :

Top 15, and that made me happy. In the end, I used one LME boost (the last 93 battles), because I felt with an animal instinct that there was a chance to stay in the top15. And this, taking into account the loss of boost LME 270 kobans plus, the same is not lying on the road.

*** By the way, I was in the same league with  @Alander , his post is a little higher.

last week (03/10/2024) I didn't post the screenshot so here it is.

A 5th place climbing from the past weeks.

image.png.1c7a52073a0523269d9b80223d4e113e.png

and this week I ended 3rd, in a weaker bracket, I must say, but well, top4 is always excellent.

As you can see, playing with exactly the same team, boosters and style of gameplay can result in a wide difference of places, depending mainly of the stronger players in the bracket and the blessings of that week, but always in the safe top15 group, avoiding the hassle of having to search for the best team, changing girls and girls gear at blessing change.

Congratulations to @Ol Sheriff Joe for 1st place (5 points lost 😵)

Yup,

someone caught the Ol’ Guy just after the dust settled, and he mentioned:

« Yeah, damn’ sun was in my eye one too many times… ‘seem to have missed a shot or two ‘cause of that… Darn bad week, very much agreed… »

My 28th win in the League. The top4 are the ones I expected. Some time while the week it seemed that rich had chances to score better and I wasn't sure if [FDGN]~blablah or Abe would socre better. At least I was mostly sure since Sunday that I could win this League, but in the last day it was the french guy who let me sweat. But in the end I had a soid 26 points advance over him.

Another week in top 4. It was very close fight between me Firkraag and Nononono.

Rng was terrible this time, wontadmitiwashere was the biggest example but there were more. Even with good rng I wouldn't have a chance for a win but at least the league would be less stressful.

EDIT: Well, my biggest achievement this time is beating yamiyami - my only clubmate who plays league seriously (or at least he did in the past). He is treated as my club's MVP so defeating him was my goal for quite a long time.

Great bracket luck lately leading to my 3rd win in a row. Not much to say about this week since it was a lot less intense than the last. RNG was also a bit kinder this week, still losing me some points on the easy fights but compensating with good fights against the tough guys.

2nd place 3 weeks in a row. You can say it's quite an achievement but at the same time it's very frustrating.

My bracket luck is as bad as always. This time I got @Alander. I heard that he isn't playing very well lastly but I guess it was only one time accident. I did my best and had very good rng but in the end beating him was impossible.

I think it's high time to take a break from league. I'm tired of tryharding every week without getting any results. Also, I miss being able to sleep for more than 4 hours without getting up in the middle of the night to catch opponents unboosted...

At Tuesday I was mostly sure, that I could win this League, even I had 3 strong opponents with reflect Team to fight and Snorkk had lost only 49 points at this time, and I had lost 29 points too. The expectation was that I would loose 15-18 points against the strong opponents and had 1-4 points left for bad rng against opponents with 24,99-24,97 average result. Yesterday, as I fought the first of the 3 hard reflect opponents I had terrible rng: 22/19/19 as an expected result of 23,3. At this time I could only hope that Snorkk would loose some points, but feared, that rng had cost me the win. But as I fought the other two reflecter, I had good rng and lost only 3 points against both (25/25/24, 25/23/25), while the exepected outome was one time 24,04 and one time 23,1. So I was back in the race. As I had only 3 opponents left, I lost one aditional point against an opponent with 24,99 chance and was at 49 points lost like Snorkk, but he had some more fights to do. I could fought my last opponent this relativ exactly 11h before reset and after I was the first one who reached 7526 points it was clear, that snorkk hadn't a chance to beat me. But that I would win because of the " First who reached the score wins" rule is something that I never expected!

Gratulation to Snorkk for a very good competition!
