Sadly I lost two fight where I had a chance to win between 96% and 99%, but even I hadn't lost the fights, it woudln't be enough to beat cypion31s -51. xRob91 Posted July 31, 2025 Share Posted July 31, 2025 The worst bracket in a long time. Not only blessings were terrible for both parts of the league, I had to get bracket full of league vets. On Monday it was already certain that 1st is impossible. Barry lost quite a lot of points very early but Alamarre and nadesico were doing well till last day when finally started losing points. In the end I managed to get top 4 but it costed so many refills it wasn't worth it. It seems that upcoming league is going to be as terrible. Vovantillo Posted July 31, 2025 Share Posted July 31, 2025 This week I'm firmly entrenched in the top 15 of the D3 league again. I'm starting to get used to this status. The week went smoothly. The blessings were not in my favor. But I combined two teams - white/green and orange/purple. I didn't use boosts. I didn't buy extra attempts, it was pointless. I even got so carried away by the CCbC minutes that I didn't even use my last attempts in the league and didn't make the final screenshots. But it was really worth it. Most of the time rena had less lost points than me, but was a bit behind with fought opponents. After I had some bad luck (Fin Cogneato for example with 24/21/25 result with an expected outcome of 24,88) and was 2 times to late to catch a player unboosted, I feared that I had lost to much points and rena could take the lead. Thankfully rena lost some points more than I thought and ended with 3 points more lost than me. The players in the top4 were mostly expected, but that AdamtheChad and Fin Cogneato ended with such much losses wasn't expected. Both are normal players with good chances for top4. Harem Keper, RedEagle, wontadmitiwashere, Barry... quite a lot of tough guys, the first one was the biggest problem. To make things worse, we got Voyeur blessing for the 2nd part of league, making dozens opponents using reflect. Once again I did most fights in a few hours after BC and this time was really lucky. I caught all the tough guys, and player who later switched to reflect, when they were swapping teams. My clubmates also helped me a bit. 😉 In the end Harem Keper underperformed quite a lot. He made really weird decision to use dom team that was countered by pretty much everyone. This is my 20th win! Holymolly got his last, 20th win on Nutaku on lvl 576 so by reaching this milestone on lower lvl I became better than him. 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Therefore, without reaching for the stars, I reached the logical end by the end of the week. I did not use boosts or additional attempts. When he finally decided to get his ass outside and check the situation, he noticed he had the sun behind him, and that something was vaguely moving in front of him. He shot more or less blindly, only to score perfectly against a Mutant Beast, freshly raised from the desert's graves (the place the locals say not to enter under any circumstances, because the terorbeak lurks in the shadows) The Marshall, on his part, seems to have insulted Lady Luck lately, and she gave him a little thank you gift... Not only did he manage to shoot thrice right into the Beast's only bit of armor, (a problem when your aim is too sharp), but he previously had the perfect timing of firing at a peon just when the guy swallowed his 'have no fear' pills... All in all, an interesting reminder that nothing's ever mastered, there's always a step further until perfection (also learning how to talk nicely to the Lady of Fate...) 😊 Congrats to Mot for his victory, of course. At the start it was clear, that mot_131, rayley and I had chances for top1 (even my chances were in the >1% range). Without an exception at in the first two days, I didin't loose points, and the 2 points I lost were against mot_131. But later in the week it started to go down: If I could loose points, I surely get the worst outcome at least once (fe: Fran - worst possible result 21, best 25, expected outcome 24,85, results: 25/25/21) and so the lost points piled up. There was a time I wasn't sure that I could defend top4. But in the end Geto and KKJai, who were the other two who played for top4 started to loose points too, and this morning it was clear, that they had lost more points than my -80, so the 3rd is secure to me. At the moment it seems, that Geto had lost 25 points more, than displayed, so my situation the last days were better than it seemd. Gratulation to mot_131 for his win! I thought that I could get a chill week but with all the reflects and some bad luck against 2 instaboosters I finish with a mediocre score. Potentially, the biggest threat was my club leader, Agent who can get good scores from time to time when he gets serious. Luckily for me, it wasn't one of those weeks. Agie scared me a bit like always, by losing almost no points at beginning, but he lost dozens of them in last 2 days (also like always). It's my 21st win and that means I became the best player among my countrymen on Nutaku: I guess my next goal could be beating those playing on .com but, even though entwine doesn't play anymore, surpassing him would take ages anyway 💀 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Can be, that he lost earlier much more points than displayed, so the tracking hadn't a chance to recognize it. The week started not bad, except the fact, that I was matched with 4 Bunnys. But I thought, a top4 would be not to hard. And until Wendsday evening all was in linge. I had a good safety margin to A_t_ur with ca. 30 points difference. And than hit the bad RNG. Against 3 opponents I lost a hughe amount of points more, than expected. Shogo (22/12/21 winchance: 99,6%; expected: 24,12), shy rack (20/22/19, expected: 24,35) amd Barrain (23/18/20, expected: 23,99) were 39 points more lost than expected. Thankfully after this I could partially recover and reach the same score than A_t_ur after I had two opponents where I scored a little bit better thane expected, but A_t_ur could do his last 3 fights ca. 2h before me and I had only the chance to score to the same amount and would end for sure after him. At this time I expected that govenants, like more than one time I was in the same bracket like him, would rush to top1 in the last hour, but this time, he stopped at 5th. Gratulation to apjmb to his win! Also even this morning I thought I would be booted out of top 4 with my mediocre score but some people took heavy losses in the end... I bought 20 fights and used 2 AMEs. I also had a terrible RNG against ThunderWolf on Saturday when I took my chances because I thought I would rarely have a better expected result but... 11/21/24 when I had a ~26,8% chance of a perfect score. From the start I stopped playing for 1st spot because of this so I really don't know how I still won it.
