The rule of thumb is that if you can reach top4 (or close) then you should always climb to the next league.
Then you must improve over time (your stats and equipment, your girls stats, skills and equipment, and the skill sinergy between them, if you assemble a good team you can even make it permanent, as I do, and not changing girls every week depending of blessings) and slowly gain ranks in the new league.
As mdnoria said the increase in rewards compensate for a lower position: a top 30 in a league is better than top 15 in the inferior league.

I guess. The Kobans are nice, but I care more about the shards and the ability to complete PvP tasks. I'll probably still give this tier a shot, though. 

While I would like to increase my Koban accumulation rate, I don't feel bad when I miss out on them. I'm content with skipping MD/MDR/WBT/paid paths that would require massive Koban investment so I can casually enjoy the game (ignoring how much time/energy I spend optimizing the rest of my play experience 😅). Doing that also makes events I do decide to spend Kobans on more special. It was really fun to finally let loose and get Dark Fanny and Light Fiona for my first mythic.

With the introduction of Love Raids, I'm happy to just acquire at least two shards of every girl I can. So in 50 LRs/MDRs, I can get them (or earlier via SM or Labyrinth Shop). Gotta play the long game 🤔. The real issue with this plan is that I've only unlocked up to Heroes University...

I don't know what really happend, but I think I actually got a 100 shard drop from Leagues.
I'm pretty sure I was only in 4th or 5th tier and the first popup showed 17 shards along side the other rewards.
But right after that I received Haraki, which shouldn't be possible as she was just introduced last week, and I'm always in the lower tiers these days.

You maybe bought some shards of her from laby ? (which is kind of a waste imo😟)

If you want to sandbag, then work your way up to D2. So many players trying to stay out of D3. There is more competition for 16th place than top 4. Honestly it was the most fun I've had in leagues.

Possible but very unlikely as she only was introduced one week ago, and I'm pretty sure I've gotten less than 20 shards for her in the league that first week.
I only buy shards in laby if the girl has at least a minimum of 60 shards already.

What are rewards for D3? I got the following from tooltips. If it is correct, I don't know how I could get 72 shards. I got a top 4, 5th, and 1st from the past 3 weeks. If Haraki had only be rewarded once, I should have 28 shards. Twice, would be 55. Thrice would be 83.

We've got shards two times for her now.
First on 4th of december when she was introduced, and now on 11th.

The displayed shards are not correct, as in contests and other places for the top tiers are only the missing shards displayed.
It is an error we have for some time now, I reported it once but of course they didn't understand or fix it.

For first place I think you get 50 shards, not sure about 2-4 (something around 30+).

This week, I missed out on a lot of free battles again due to the game being unavailable. And for the second week in a row, I haven't been particularly happy with the blessings. So, in the final hour, I had to use the LME boost and buy five extra battles to get into the top 15 and take more points from fully equipped opponents. Ultimately, my efforts paid off. Finishing the league in 14th place was a happy ending.

Actually, somewhere around the middle of the week, after missing a lot of timed battles due to access issues, I decided to quietly finish the week in the top 30. But by the end of the week, I saw a chance to get into the top 15 with a small koban spend. And I took advantage of it.

* I've already been in the same pool with player mickoloko for the third or fourth league in a row. Next week, I'm in the same league with bolitho76. I hope he'll be lenient with me.

I'm not surprised I fell below 45th because of how hard it was to keep even around like 48th toward the end, but wow did I slide. The Kobans/Combativity relative to S3 15-30 is fine, but the Shard count is so much lower

I was to busy with RL, so I had a lot of boosted opponents to fight after I hadn't time to be in the game when theyr booster run out.  So only a top15 to me this week and a bad average with 24,57.

This week, fate threw me into the same bracket as bolitho76. I was rooting for him all week, hoping he'd take first place. Or at least finish in the top four. But... alas. He was comfortably in the top four for a little over halfway through the week, but then, just before Christmas Eve, he slipped to 5th or 6th place. Worrying about him, I almost missed out on a top 15 finish myself, missed a few free fights, but then bought three more fights to push the competition aside. It all paid off, and I finished the league in 13th place, which I congratulate myself on.

Very tiring first half of the league, my team was weak and I was struggling not to lose any points in stupid way. It changed after BC when everyone switched to execute because of sensual blessing. I didn't have much time in last days so I finished all fights before Tuesday's noon.

Another first. I bought 15 fights and used 1 AM, also finishing my LM from last week. I also got 20 fights in WBT.

It really depends what is the other blessing and what is the bonus. Sensual and Playful are really bad in general because it forces you to play a singular pose team. Also Dom girls give the best passive of the game, +2% damage per girl on top of the +damage from having 100 dom girls.

Not having pose diversity means it's harder to benefit from the girls equipment bonus attack matching the pose (it would mean having multiple sets for the same pose, I know only of 1 player having more than 4 sets for each pose currently on .com).

But it also depends on the strength of the 2 blessings. We currently have the case on .com with a +20% to sensual and +20% to pisces. So I'm also ignoring the sensual bonus completely this week.

Here is my team this week. I'm "losing" on bonus attack % because of the pose variety since I don't have multiple sets for theses poses (circled in red).

By having 5 Dom girls in my team, it gives me +10% to damage (sensual boosts healing more) which furthers boosts what I get from the attack bonus.

All in all, the +20% bonus stats to sensual girls doesn't matter when I can get more than +20% damage by running a Dom team.
