At first I wanted to finish 1 day early because I thought that LR would start after today's reset so I bought 45 fights and I used 1 AM so I could carry over the 7k points from SEM into LR. When I saw the calendar after those fights were bought I thought that knowing this fact beforehand, I would have invested less into it since 1st spot seemed really easy. It's been very nice to just relax and not think about booster management. The downside is that my League score is suffering. Until this morning I had chances for 2nd place (1st if holymolly had some bad luck after he was far from finishing his fights) at the time I had only Mehtos and Jelkaz left to fight. With 48 points lost I wasn't in a too bad postion. While I could catch Methos unboosted and had a mostly expected outcome (24,04 expected) and so "only" 3 points lost, I was litreally seconds to late to catch Jelkaz unboosted and had to fight him boosted. mdnoria Posted January 8 Share Posted January 8 Let's start this year with a win. I bought 19 fights and used 1 AM so quite cheap week for me. In the end it was closer with MrX than I anticipated. MrX was sitting at 16 points lost like me yesterday night when I saw them only gaining multiple 25 points in a raw so I bought 4 fights to finish the league and be sure to be first as I didn't know if they had a serious opponent left. I had only guaranteed 25 at the time. I fought every hard opponents before blessings change because of the bad blessings this week. I also had a terrible RNG against MrX (9% of 22, 9% of 23, 16% of 24, 62% of 25) and Mysterio I hit a 0.2% chance of result. 9 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Once I hit 77th and saw how many points I would need to get to the Kobans, I stopped trying and dumped the resources into Whale Boss Tournament. That way I could at least get PvP wins for PoR, even if I wouldn't get any XP. I'm going to go through with my plan to skip League this week. I missed to catch 4 opponents unboosted and lisalisa was to fast with reboosting, so I had to fought her boosted again. I expect ca. 30-40 points less lost if I had caught thema all unboosed. I spent most of the week hovering around 30th place, despite using an AME booster to increase my chances. But as usual, due to various circumstances, I missed out on several free fights. But on the last day, I had a slim chance to cling to the top 15. And I did everything I could to seize it. I ended up buying a few more fights (about 6-7) and, until the very last seconds, I couldn't believe I wouldn't be ousted by a mega-fight. Ultimately, I was pleased with the outcome; my efforts weren't in vain. The blessings of the last two weeks hadn't been kind to me.
