The fight was fierce; the sheriff fought valiantly, but was eventually hit by our crossfire and had to surrender to see the sun rise again. Rayley took some heavy blows, but was satisfied: the loot was ours. An expensive week but it was worth it for me (less for rayley who needed to make joe lose points so I could win). D3 is exactly what I thought it would be: high level players all boosted and few easy/likely wins for MEs/daily goals. But as always, I was slack and disorganized for the first half of the week, and only in the second half did I realize I had a chance to make the top four, which I took advantage of. I even thought, nearly from the start that I could probably skip an opponent entirely if I wanted and I'm not really far from it. I also hesitated to use another LM but didn't want to bother so I used 1 and it's the only thing I "paid". I had 20 fights from WBT and bought none. There's no point in continuing the fight; it's a waste of effort, time, and resources (LME). Nine unplayed matches against the League leaders don't bode well for me. D3 has so few wins available that it's not worth sticking around for. I woke up early out of curiosity to see where I was, but I hadn't moved at all since yesterday.
