  1. Some annoying luck in Great Pachinko. I spun a bunch of times. Almost everything was rainbow. However, I got one legendary in my stat. I already had a legendary in that slot and it only increased my stats by 12. It could have been 700 or more stat points if it was in other slot.

  2. I got Mala early on on my main account and just got her on my Test account. I'm reluctantly grinding for Gork. On the one hand, I don't want her, on the other hand, I've gotta collect'em all.

I wonder if this is going to become a trend: 4 day revivals for first year events, 3 day revivals for second year events. 4 day revivals are going to be harsh, 3 day revivals almost impossible.

I'm only missing 2 event boss girls from year 1, and no girls from year 2, so this system is not specially punishing to me, but still...

Honestly, I would have much preferred 7 day revivals for events from one year ago, 4 day revivals from events two years ago, and then down to three days for three years ago once we cross another anniversary. However, I understand it's this way for koban balance.

  4. I got Mai with natural rolls, and Juliette on one of the fifth roll of my third refill. I could have saved a refill, but I didn't think I'd make it back to a computer before the end of the event. Fortunately, I did, which means more spins with a chance of a legendary gift.

  5. Wow. I think this was one of my best streaks of luck ever.

On HH, I just reached World 10 and unlocked Freddy in time for this event. Didn't get Halloween Julliette yet though. (I know this isn't luck now, just based off of when I started playing, but it's still fortunate timing).

On the test server though, during a span of 15 fights, I got Halloween Juliette and both of Edwarda's girls. This is so much better than what happened on HH with Edwarda where she completely refused to drop any haremettes for the longest time. This means I've got all the boss girls I can get at the test server right now. Back to affection grinding.

W II should be 12 kobans, right?

Poor Norm. It only gets worse.:P

Yes, and week four was supposed to be 31-45. I'm assuming an active player will be able to go up by about 15 positions each week. That brings the total down to 66 kobans instead. Norm just can't catch any breaks.

  7. Let's do a little thought experiment and compare someone playing normally on Wanker I, and someone trying to use tanking as a strategy. I'll only be comparing koban rewards.

Norm is playing the game normally. He finishes Wanker I in the 5-15 range and gets 24 kobans. Through activity and challenging everyone despite the losses, he manages to get 61-75th place and wins 6 kobans in week 2. Week 3, he does a little better and 46-60 and wins 12 kobans. Week 4, he's 31-45 and gets 24 kobans. Over the course of four weeks, Norm has won 66 kobans.

Tad the tanker knows that you should only place in the top 4 or below the top 15 (4 or 16 for short). Week 1, he's on track to finish 5-15 like Norm, but he intentionally tanks to stay in Wanker I and only wins 12 kobans. Week 2, being overpowered for Wanker I, he finishes in 2-4, and gets 48. Week 3, he intentionally tanks and doesn't get any kobans. Week four, Tad either gets 1st or 2-4 in Wanker I, winning 120 or 48 kobans. Over the course of four weeks, Tad wins either 108 or 180 kobans, depending on whether or not he finishes in first place in week 4.

To cap things off, you get more exp from winning than from losing no matter what. Tad has been fighting a lot more winnable battles than Norm over these four weeks (even including that one week where he tanked and fought very few battles), so odds are that he's higher leveled than Norm.

Aside from 16-30 in Wanker I (and I think that's an accident when they were copy-pasting code), the numbers work for all the higher leagues since they're just double the koban rewards for each previous league.

  8. I just finished affection grinding for now (Starters, commons, rares, and Norou (my alpha) are maxed, epics are up to two stars, the other legendary is one star). All the ones I paid will return my investment in less than a year (only counting the upgrade cost, not the cost for affection items), the rest will take more than a year to pay off, so I'll treat them as a cash sink and max them out later. This freed up my cash flow to start pumping stats and it's made a huge difference already. Sadly, this close to the end of the season, it won't affect my placing too much. But next season, I'm looking forward to kicking ass in Wanker II.

As a one-off thing I don't mind it, but then again, I have a good ability to mentally rotate things, so there is that. However, if you were to exclusively run everything through upsidedown text, like that one person that exclusively posts in textspeak, it'd get old real fast.

a lot of companies would not bother to make them available again, even for a short time, so I'm grateful to Kinkoid for this opportunity.

Sorry, but I disagree. Compare this to Japanese mobages, they have events constantly, and from my experience, they do revivals. Sure, there's some truly one-time events, but revivals are a great way to please the fanbase while reusing assets. Old players can grumble a bit, but they also have high level missions to grind (or in HH's cases, high level bosses to drop their girls and get cash for stats, upgrading, and great pachinko rolls). Newer players get to grab the stuff they missed because they didn't join at the start. And for a game that prizes collecting all the collectables (girls in this case), you have to give access to those past events. This isn't some great favor being done for us, it's a necessity of the format.
