I actually would not mind girl skills if they were put on top of the of shit sandwiches of the last updates. They are also adding these features that work in other games because they don't have 2,000 girls. Skills in general work when you have a small number of characters to level. In this case you have a min of all the Mythics and a good portion of LD's. Not quite as fun. The concept in general is fine. With this game how it is not so much.

If you want to compete at the top level in D3. The spenders will have them done soon. When I say top level I mean top 4.

Good change! I will now be able to complete all sets in 1,000 years instead of 100,000. Still an improvement is an improvement. KK also gave a nice little bonus extending the Double take into the Anniversary Event.

This boss bang was very difficult as usual.
The MC went to Mother Angel. who yawned and said: " Again? Not now! I am busy ruining the timeline of the KK Story, you know having a tournament after my heavenly realm was overrun and acting like nothing happened."
Stacy with her new Dragon powers stepped forward and said I will do it but, I want to do it by myself." Stacy proceeded to solo the event without losing a fraction of her energy. Yawning and saying "is that it."
Another very difficult Boss Bang in the books!

The planning meeting at KK headquarters.
KK " What can we do for our anniversary? Hmmm? We already implemented the most hated features of our game in history with levels and girl equipment what can we really do to give back to our players as a celebration of our birthday? I know lets do the least popular event we have ever implemented, Seasonal events which celebration for the ages! With the recent Girl Equipment and Level upgrades and, with this event being slightly less vile. It will be like Nectar from the Gods for or players! Players will just give us $$$$ in truckloads. Happy Anniversary to us! "New Yachts for everyone!"

I agree that this set of 4 is one of the best sets they have ever done. All the girls are well done. I got to the second girl buying both cards when going for the Mythic. It was a bummer that Piper was the fourth girl. I am a Piper partisan.

I think placement for those of us just below the top players in the game is going to be highly dependent on the league you are in. (Much more than before). If you have too many of the top level 600 players in your league I would shoot for a relaxing top 15. If don't have many of the 600's a top 4 or even a win is possible. I noticed that a lot of the higher level players are relaxing. I finished 5th in the first post earthquake League. I could have gotten top 4 though. I just played around at the start thinking that I had no chance at Top 4.

I have to admit that I forgot about the good feelings you get when you smash a player 30 levels higher than you are. The update still is bad but, I thought I might add one positive.

The only people that will apreciate this change are true hardcore p2w crowd, who at the same time happen to be veterans of the oldest times, playing actively since 2016 and a very few from 2017. I'd argue there are no more than 50 guys like that on Nutaku.
And IMO you shouldn't compare the current League against the old discrete win \ loss speedrun League. Only then the highest leveled player with the auto fight thingie had a unilateral advantage against everyone else, except maybe an another player of same caliber and toolkit.
I am actually in between A and B. I won at every level before D3 and lost enthusiasm with many of the recent changes. I have only won D3 once. Top 4 many, many times and almost every week in the top 15. Therefore I am not really hardcore but, not sloppy either. I know the tricks and strategy Although, I have little motivation to finish this week. I know of one top league player in my club who is close to quitting as he will know be permanently at a disadvantage to the older players.
Like I said before using boosters will help you but, not against the top players who do the same thing. Only they now have a permanent power advantage because of level. I am not saying someone of a lower level cannot win it just becomes much more difficult at the top level. Say an older play who has 30 level power difference between you Lets say this gives them an average of 1 point extra per 3 fights not much right? That is actually a 100 point advantage the lower level player needs to make up with gameplay, gear etc...

I am actually one of those players. Level 548. I don't take the game too seriously and, am only strategic when going for top 4. I would usually survey the players and, go for top 4 if it was not a deadly league and if it was top 15 was fine. Now no chance for top 4.
The really dedicated lower levels can still most likely get it. That also got more expensive with the 4th Mythic slot though.

I will give an example. I am now level 548. There is a baby whale in my league. level 430. I destroyed him. Before I could beat him but, not nearly in the same way.

Umm, yes a 30-60 level advantage will help you "just win" The higher level player most likely has the same gear as you etc... You must have not been in the game since the start. The high level players won almost every single time. There a few exceptions. The playing field changed later on when lower level whales and a few very dedicated players could win.
KK really has no idea how to balance the game. Every single update before this was to make newer whales more competitive. This just nuked that. You will remain 30,60,90,100 levels behind for all eternity.
If you don't believe me go for it and try to win when the top 4 in D3 are at level 600 and you are at 500-550.

I won't complain until the new update comes out. If the rumors are true however. 99.999% of players will not be able to compete for even top 4 in League. Just look at the requirements that you will need.
1. Level 1,000 or at least close.
2. Complete set of Girl Gear. (It will most likely still be a few months before even the big whales get this).
3. Complete Mythic set of equipment (Matching Scheme)
4. An almost complete set of Mythic girls at 750. With a very robust set of LD 5 stars girls at 750.
5. The new booster equipped for most fights. Plus we are still going to need the Cordys.
This is crazy.
I should end at a decent level as I have been at 500 for a while if they add the experience but, still most likely years behind.

Piper is my favorite. They look good though. I will have to watch this version of Piper from afar as she will be out of reach. If Kinkoid stopped this event we might be able to get the short stories back. They must make bank on this event to keep running it so often.
The things is if they had a longer view, they could make bank with a club version of leagues, a long-term club girl, more club upgrades etc.... 1000 people spending $1 is the same as 1 spending $1,000.

This is a nice chart on Gem cost.
I actually don't know the exact experience needed but, for me it is generally about 3-4 weeks of collecting to get a Mythic from 0-full experience.

Mythic, girls are generally not worth it until you get later into the game. Not only the Koban cost but, the leveling is very expensive. I would say up to mid level the best course of action is getting Legendary 5 stars leveled up to max and, then slowly start to get Mythic girls. That is unless you are a Super Whale.
I finally almost have all my Mythic Girls upgraded to 750. I don't have all of them but, have most of them. A Mythic Estelle revival may be the only thing that might get me to spend money on this game again:-).

A. Girl equipment is the best! I love it!
B. I love it so much I want more equipment! Rings on fingers and toes would be the best!
C. I love it but, I like some of the other awesome updates a bit better!
D. I love it but, I would like Ultra Mythic equipment!
KK comes out. "The people have spoken the players want more equipment. "

All blessings are now upon us! Praise KK! The KK gods have blessed us beyond measure! The feature we all wanted! The best feature ever for an RPG game girls equipment!. This is the most glorious, stupendous, amazing, breathtaking update!
I used my 50 free Mythic Orbs and got 1 Mythic Gear! I was also able to sell my other gear to get it to level 3! I was so excited I almost peed myself! All I need to do is play for another 27,000 years and I will have a complete set. In addition in only about 1,000 years I will have the ability to try and get top 4 again in league! I can't wait!
I actually need to be fair. I could spend major $$$ and get it all today! However, why would I take the opportunity from now for my 300th great-grandson to finally complete my set!
Can someone please explain to me how this is an RPG game? I may be a bit slow. It was a collection game that morphed into a PvP with a story attached. Gear in this case in only for fighting in the "arena" and has no RPG purpose.

Yes, the game did start out as a casual collection game. There was a time when league was just something extra and not the main part of the game. You logged in once or twice an that was it. Now if you want to keep up it takes hours each extra thing adds to that. I have no idea how people play all 3 of the main games.
My thoughts on why were getting these "improvements"
The almighty $$$ is what has gotten us to this point. More money can be made from people trying to win and keep up with the joneses. Than can be made in just collecting. This why we got Gems, followed by Mythic Gear and now Girl Gear. If Johnny gets the gear and dominates others who have to win will spend $$$$ when those players get most of the gear and the rest us are just about to catch up the cycle repeats. KK is especially bad because of the heavy RNG component so even if you spend you may not get.
I may be in the minority I actually started playing for the story and art. Not the PVP. I liked the additions of the short story. I liked the idea of messages just not the implementation . I would have liked to see more of the world the MC's clubhouse for example some more of the world. Again, I am most likely in the minority but, I like the stories that expand the world and not just the Hi, your hot, wham bam thank you. Rinse and repeat. I would like more story not less, more things done with clubs and the art.

KK would have money from high competitive players, and the other 90% or so of players can enjoy a less complicated game.I would like to see that. See which whale has the biggest pocket. Just think how much KK would make with Whale Wars we could have league final scores in the tens of thousands.

Don't even look at placements with 4 days left. I am positive many terrors are lurking in the dark.
I have not been in D2 in a long time but, I am pretty sure you are going to need more than a 21 average.
Good luck though. I think I won my 1st D2 at about level 400 "old" system though much easier.

My Mythic White Whale was finally caught! Estelle was finally added after a long harrowing slog through evaporating shards and Kobans rapidly disappearing into the wind through the 10 and 50 buttons. Estelle finally agreed to sit on the coach and be given candy, flowers and books by the thousands until she is ready to be called into league.
