I mean, you can only "win" each Champion once every 24 hours...
Still an accurate statement -- each performance counts, including the one where you "win". Also, the 24 hour wait applies only to the one you won... there are usually other champions you can battle (assuming you've made it beyond "Morning wood house" and haven't fought and won against all of them).

I am already very much not liking the "Path of Attraction". I am not one of the type of players that keeps a large stash of items to sell, and it will likely take me a few days to accumulate FORTY items, and since these tasks are linear, I cannot perform any of the others until after that one, so probably very unlikely that I will even be able to get to item IV.

This is apparently a common occurrence -- some of us "hit a wall" with a boss, and it seems to vary which one. For me, it has been Freddy Sih Roko Sensei... I've done many hundreds of tries with no girl dropping (well, until recently, I finally got one of the three). Based on previous discussions it appears to just be a matter of luck and you just have to persevere and grind through.
Also (anecdotally), it is my observation that the randomness for event girls appears calculated separately from the boss girls and other items you can get from them. I.e., even if I'm having trouble with a boss girl, it doesn't affect the event girl... I still seem to get something close to the expected/average number of shards for the type and duration of a given event.

Level-cap really does not matter to me, since after playing a few years I tend to move on and find something new to do anyway, regardless of the game or what I have achieved. I periodically revisit a rare few just to see what might have changed or how the game has evolved.
Either way, every time (if) raised, in my opinion the work and effort to get to the new "top" should be made exponentially/extremely harder.

Thanks Karyia and jelom for correcting me.
Legendary Days chards are therefore 1/4 "normal", between one and three chards per drop.

Also only 20 fights is a really small sample to be basing much of an opinion on.
Just to be clear: there are two factors. The frequency of the drops, and the number of shards per drop.
I haven't really noted a changes in the frequency, but during any Legendary Days event the drops are only between one to four shards per drop (one third of "normal" drop quantities).

Also, why are the orbs not replacement for league rewards? did you know that you can actually get girls with the pachinko orbs? so far i got several like that.
After countless tries with the orbs, I have won an endless supply of completely useless avatars.
I recently won one girl (suspiciously, right at the time they had the survey regarding the orb feature).
The other items I have won are useful (either directly or when sold for Ymen).
I think they need to balance the odds better (or simply reduce the number of avatars and/or increase the number of items).And even after I stopped I bet the man I used to slap every day would still hate me.
What kind of twisted loser would appreciate someone who had been doing that?-

Yes, others have already suggested this. It is basically what I ended up doing -- using up my "stay at home 2 bundle" in order to accomplish. It is simply not something I would normally be comfortable doing.
