Be me. Fight the forest boss once. He drops a girl. Fight him again. Second girl dropped. Ridiculous luck. Don't call shenanigans and fight him a third time. Drops a girl again. It's not a bug when you have luck. Only advice I can give is to play less. It's basically gambling and gambling is rigged to not pay out when you're trapped/engaged already. Try only fighting bosses with full energy.

It's perfectly possible to go a month or two without a drop.

Is this related to why the game logs me out every couple of minutes, even if I leave a tab open?

Anyone know which browser that would be? Doesn't work for me in any of the browsers that I use. I'm on Linux, though, if it works on IE/Edge that won't be all that helpful.
Clearing all cookies or deleting the cache didn't help, either.
Another weird thing I noticed is, that the content of the affected page won't automatically rescale when you change the size of the window. It only does that after reloading the page, but unaffected pages resize/rescale with the window size just fine.

If the topic had a better name, maybe more people would come to the conclusion that this addresses the same bug and not opt to ignore it, because they don't care for Gruntt anymore.
Something like "Pachinko and battling Trolls with girls doesn't work".

Playing Pachinko and battling Roko Sensei don't work for me either. In all my browsers. I first noticed about 10h ago.

Since the big update in August of 2017 I've kind of kept tabs on this stuff myself. Made a screenshot whenever I've got a girl and named the file with the date I've got her. Here's what I've got:

I never counted how often I fought, but based on the boss level it should be calculable. Playing Epic Pachinko really had a bad effect on getting girls. The following month I've only got one.

Paying money doesn't do any good. I don't have enough time fighting the trolls as it is. Paying so I can fight against the trolls more is a waste. Kobans are for epic pachinko, every other use is a waste of resources. I don't like wasting resources.

I stopped doing events months ago. It's not sustainable. Girls drop faster than I have the chance to max their affection. Now some may say the drop rate is ridiculous, but you're guaranteed a girl per month and I cannot sustain that. So I focused on getting cash and maxing all the girl's affection points. I've made good progress, but I'm still, like, 150.000 affection points short.
When they made the change to the battles, where you could earn affection by winning and I saw the numbers, that basically felt like a bad joke. You get 4 affection points per win. Four. Yeah,... it might as well be zero if you need tens of thousands of affection points per girl.

You should really save your money. After a certain number of girls presents get ridiculous. The best legendary gives something like 1.500, but there are girls that will need over 30.000 affections point to maximize and buying that upgrade will cost $10.000.000 and more each time. You really want to have at least $1 billion in cash saved in the bank. Later in the game money gets drained from you. Fast.
At 18 girls you can still save your money, but around 40-50 girls you won't really have that luxury anymore. You'll get new girls faster than you can save money to upgrade them. One girl per month is kind of guaranteed, right?

Unlock a new world. Be happy to get more money for your fights, because after the update, money counts. Get all three girls in 3 attempts. Luck can be tough.

That's a thing? I was playing Pachinko blindly, trying to get affection items. Afterwards, while trying to rid myself of the garbage, I found those.

Battling Trolls with Event Girls works, if I already got all their normal girls. Otherwise it doesn't work.
