  1. There are three things that immediately occurred to me upon reading about Girl Rarity. 1) Is Alicia Carrot Bunny's legal name??? 2) None of my current 71 girls are Legendary, which just figures. 3) I strongly disagree with the implication that Dark Lord's harem girls are "Starters", considering I had several Epic girls before I could get any of them to drop... If a girl's rarity is based on how hard she is to get, then in my book, all of Dark Lord's "Starter" girls should be Epic... And to disagree with one earlier point: supposedly, you don't HAVE to spend money to get a Legendary girl, but IS more likely you'd have one if you spent money. Granted, I don't pay money and I don't have a Legendary girl, but in theory, you could either get lucky in Epic Pachinko, or if you won enough contests and played Epic Pachinko enough, you should be able to get a Legendary girl. In theory. Mind you, I keep saying in theory, because again, I don't have a Legendary girl. Now, I would be curious to know how many people never paid money, have multiple Legendary girls despite that, and got them through Epic Pachinko. I mean, there have to some somewhere... in theory. At this point, I wouldn't even oppose the addition of a girl who could only be obtained with a player's first payment. That would certainly be better than a Legendary girl you paid money for and DIDN'T get...
  2. I know I tend to go back and forth, praising and complaining about the game designers. Well, time to praise again. I started playing a few months after last year's Easter event, so I missed out on it. And since I tend to rate an event's quality by whether or not I'm able to get the boss girl drops: nothing but praise for the Easter event. I will admit, there are some things about the game I'd still like to see changed, BUT, there are a lot less of those than there were a year ago. And I will also admit that in-game money isn't as big a sticking point as it was for me, in part because I mostly skipped the hero-themed event when it seemed drop rates weren't going to be in my favor that time. But that was partially also because the girls in that event didn't appeal to me all that much. I can certainly understand lack of interest in pursuing girls from low money bosses. But I assume that is done to lure in newer players, some who may be willing to pay real money. And since I have no plans to pay, I can't really be mad at that. So no, I didn't sit this event out. But, depending on whether the girls in future events appeal to me, or if I already have them, or if drop rates seem unusually low, I can certainly see myself sitting out some future events to focus on earning money for affection maxing. That no longer seems such an impossible dream, now that I know how to earn money and where to focus spending. And I am definitely not falling for the "legendary girl" scam again. That I'd sit out without hesitation. And if it matters, I only have ONE account. The idea of going through all this trouble for multiple accounts is beyond me. I'm sure my frustration levels would be through the roof then. But, if I was so enthusiastic about a game as to have multiple accounts, I'd probably also be enthusiastic enough to support it with money. So I find the idea of a person with enough devotion to have multiple accounts, but not enough to be willing to pay at least a little, somewhat odd. That's just me, though. I'm not suggesting that anyone with multiple accounts should pay. On the other hand, I imagine if there are enough people with multiple accounts, that probably isn't helping. But if you don't like the way the game is, why would you maintain multiple accounts, anyway? Wouldn't the obvious solution be to abandon some of those accounts and decrease your frustration in the process?
  3. For some reason, I always get excited when I can tell what series the girls are inspired from. Plus Ultra!!! Not really sure what the rest of the changes will mean for me, but more worlds means more stuff to do, so I'm ready.
  4. Interesting topic. I wouldn't oppose the idea of a Lesbian Harem game. But I have to say, there's more than enough lesbian action in the current game for me already. And I would be disappointed if there wasn't. Not much point in having a harem, if you always have to take turns and never invite two or more to play. I also wouldn't be opposed to a single girl drop that was actually a pair. Like twins or really, really close friends. The single girls that end up having a friend at higher affection levels are always nice. Out of curiosity, though: in what sense would it be "Lesbian Harem"? 1) All of the girls are lesbians, to varying degrees? 2) The player is assumed to be, and the player avatar actually is, a female interested in other females? I keep picturing a game featuring a cute, female, slightly air-headed character who is simply looking to make friends, but keeps getting approached by eager females who convince her that friends share everything, including themselves.
  5. It's weird... drop rates are supposedly increased during events, and there used to be more than enough evidence of that. But rarely, there would be an event where I got nothing. And I can usually tell right away, because the first girl would generally drop in the first two or three days. The current event seems to be one of those that will give me nothing, so I just gave up on it and have been focusing on maxing affection and levels instead.
  6. Well, it's over, and I didn't get her. Not really surprised. But my greater source of annoyance is that I wasted all that time on low money battles. At least now I can go back to Finalmecia. She's the only REAL legendary girl in this game, as far as I'm concerned. She sure drops money like one.
  7. Haven't read all the comments, but I'm getting the overwhelming impression that you have to pay to recharge stamina to stand a decent chance at getting the legendary girl to drop. And if that's the case, my interest in her just died. But in case it's not, I will keep trying. For free. But to echo what some have said, I do think it's pretty weird that the most powerful girl is in Dark Lord's harem. Unless the idea is to tempt new players into trying to get her, since they wouldn't have access to the later bosses yet. Stranger still that Dark Lord could afford to keep such a high class girl happy with the little bit of money he drops. But if it matters? I wouldn't mind so much failing to get a legendary girl to drop if I was at least earning Finalmecia level money in the process. Because ending an event without the girl AND broke? Not a great feeling at all.
  8. I assume that doesn't apply during events, when in order to get the latest girls, you have to fight weaker bosses. In fact that's usually when I run out of money. As for the update, I do have a question: does that change to the Harem screen actually mean that more than 5 girls will be visible at one time when collecting money? Because that would be a dream come true for me. Part of the reason I don't earn as much money as I used to is that I get tired of having to scroll and click repeatedly to get it all. Which is all the more reason why these 5 star girls just don't excite me the way they used to. You would think, with all these girls in a harem, at least one could serve as treasurer and collect the money for you, regularly, without prompting. Perhaps at the cost of taking her own cut from the collection, if need be. My highest earner makes about 9300, and my overall total is around 100,000, so I'd happily double her pay if she'd hand all that to me. It's nice that more girls are getting 5 stars, but frankly, with as expensive as that tends to be? I'd much rather just see their new art in the wiki for free. And really, I sort of have to, since I certainly can't afford to pay to see them all yet. I know this is sounding more like a suggestion and less like a comment on the update, but this is pretty much my reaction every time an update has new ways to spend more money, and no increased convenience in terms of earning or collecting money.
  9. Said this before, but all I can really say for certain is that, for me, every type of girl, be it regular or event, seems a bit more likely to drop during events. It could just be that I spend more time fighting bosses at that time. For example, I got Sheheramazond today while in pursuit of an event girl. Still haven't gotten the event girl, though. Or the regular girl I've been trying to get for a few weeks now. Which is why I'd really rather see a progression bar related to drop rates, rather than arena.
