  1. "it's not like it actually costs them anything to load up the players wallets with 100/600 kobans." WHAT...? Seriously? 600 Kobans = $5.00 USD so if there's only 65,680 people playing, (or at least the Tower of Fame shows only that amount) giving one half of them 600 Kobans a piece would equal a $164,200 USD loss of revenue. ($5.00 USD x 32,840 / 2) Not real good with "New Math" but how exactly does that equal nothing...? I'm confused.
  2. Actually I'd seen BOTH listings in the forums but in retrospect; that should have been "I'm not on the list either," instead of the way it came out.
  3. Actually... No, I don't think you missed anything; except maybe "Here’s the list of the Nutaku ID numbers :" Sharing sixty winners between two game sites would mean thirty going to Nutaku and thirty going to players at www.hentaiheroes.com, or at least that's what I would assume. I'm not on either list, so I can only say congratulations to the winners.
  4. It was announced in the Town screen and put in the mailbox... You know the thing no one pays attention to?
  5. To Ms. JessieChan - Support Queen Extraordinaire, the knowledgeable great and gracious one without whom the stars would not shine and the earth would not revolve, (assuming I didn't win since my total didn't increase...) where exactly does one find one's own ID number? The humble subject is confused... (Yeah, yeah, yeah... I know but I'm sucking up to get my question answered.) And now I feel like an idiot... I found it by accident. LOL
  6. I just don't know about the thinking process put into the coming "Legendary Revival" event, other than to satisfy the people who were crying about not winning the last time around and the developers associated desire to make money. (Not pissed about it like some are, that's real-world, they're a business; businesses exist to make money, case closed) My thoughts on the subject... Well, to me, (In my humble opinion anyway) a "Legendary" girl would be one that comes around a lot less often than every couple months or so and I would imagine there's a fair amount of grumbling amongst the players who poured kobans by the bucketfull and the associated "real-world" cash into vying for the lady of their choice with eventual success, only to have the bragging rights of their efforts shot to pieces shortly afterward. In my own expirence, I didn't shoot for and didn't want/need Levitya when she came around the first time. I wanted to pick up Norou when she was available, because she's my class, which is what I generally focus on, but to no avail... Shortly afterward by silly happenstance, while trying to get someone else altogether, I managed to pick up Fanny and Fione that to me simply aren't worth the king's ransom it takes to upgrade them. Which brings another thought or two to bear... Fanny and Fione (along with others who aren't in my specific class) are part of the driving force within me that really wishes the developers could manage to tweak out an "in-game-trading-system" kinda like Ninten... (Can you even say that name here...? Better not...) does with their Pokem... (Ugh! Better not say that either.) game series, which would add to the enjoyment. Or maybe as an alternative; the ability to put up a girl you already have to use as a "buy-in" for a spin at the "Big Wheel" for a chance to get a new one or a multi-faceted true "Legendary Equipment" item, "X-amount" of in-game cash or other prize... maybe worth less, maybe equal, maybe worth more; isn't that why pachinko is considered gambling in the first place? Anyway, before this turns into a novel, I'll finish up by saying that all this is from the point of view of a casual player; I get my daily allowance of kobans by completing the daily missions and extras through a $2.99 USD monthly card (210 a day... a game of Epic Pachinko takes me three days to save up for, if I stop buying boosters and I've NEVER played a 10-shot of it, LOL) so even though I'm glad to see the chance to aquire Norou come around again, as I previously stated, even though having her available is in my favor, I think it's a little soon. Till next time, take care y'all.
  7. Or a revival of the revival of the revival... Brothers and Sisters rejoice! Rejoice in the rebirth of the rebirth and the second coming of the Legendary Girls! Those whose names have been foretold to us! As we take up the offering today Brothers and Sisters, open your pocketbooks, purses and wallets and let the kobans flow! (Yes I know, it's politically incorrect and religiously insensitive... It's also funny.)
  8. Once again; thanks for the input and I am in complete agreement. Bragging rights aside, I do wish however that with the increase in rarity there was a corresponding increase in the income generating capability to offset the investment a little better, but then again, rarity is rarity. And while we're on that line, just as an example Norou is a Legendary (AKA Hard-As-Hell-To-Get character to get who consequently costs a King's ransom to upgrade) but her income generation capability pales alongside Bunny, a player's first character, even when she's maxed out. (At least according to Wiki) Maybe her battle (sorry PERFORM! LOL) stats being off the chain make up for it, I'll let someone lucky enough to have her be the judge of that; I'll just bide my time and hope she swings through again and I get lucky. I do have to admit that the "limited edition" kind of vibe between the Common/Rare/Epic/Legendary characters has its merits and is pretty cool; the award for ultimate bragging right for hard to get characters has to be "Knightsnipe" with Elfy in his harem. That's kind of like finding a never started 1961 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa Spyder Fantuzzi in a hermetically sealed vacuum chamber made of bullet-proof glass with a hand written note from Enzo Ferrari saying, "Godetevi il mio amico!" stuck to the windshield. Which brings us to the next odd question... Anyone think that there might be a possibility for more, "Limited Edition" characters in the works? I dunno, maybe limited to 100 or 1000 issued worldwide then gone for good? And to venture more into the sublime, wouldn't it be interesting if the capability of trading characters were introduced... Hmmmmm. (Only reason I even had such a thought was seeing, "Gotta Catch 'Em all") But before this turns into a book... Take care y'all.
  9. Agreed on all responses. I do however elevate all the girls in the harem (even the ones I don't use) to elevate the Harem Level and maximize income. I guess my main point is that with the added expense and time involved in elevating a "Rare," "Epic" or "Legendary" character there should be some rewards to go along with it and from my observation, there isn't very much.
  10. Well that's kind of depressing... After getting Cave Laverne, AKA Laverne McFly... (I'm still trying to figure out if she's a Doctor Who "Leela" parody from the Tom Baker days or a Back to the Future lampoon of Marty's Mom) and leveling her up to as high as she can go, (3 Stars) I discover that her stats are, for a lack of a better word; Meh. It took more than a little bit of in-game cash to power her up, her stats are pretty lackluster for a "Rare" girl, and her income level, well it SUCKS, (You'd THINK a harder to get girl would have higher everything...) but then again, the other "Rare" girls I have in the Harem aren't much better, and frankly some of the common 5-Star upgradable girls are more potent in the arena and have a higher revenue generating capability so I guess the only good thing about them being "Rare" is the bragging rights. ("Look what I got..." which is nice, but doesn't help in the arena) Now I'm a little bit concerned about saving up the cash (3.5 million not counting books and gifts) to power up Plavala or Vashalanor, (Also 3 Stars) who are listed as EPIC. Hope it doesn't end up being an "epic" (sarcasm intended) waste of time and cash... I'll let everyone know. Have fun y'all!
  11. Don't know if it's condoned or not, but there's a butt-ton of info to be had at https://harem-battle.club/wiki/Harem-Heroes/HH:Harem I'll even throw out the words SPOILER ALERT! - Lots of stuff that takes forever to develop in game.
  12. Whew boy... Lot of different perspectives, all with good merits; some of them I've even tried to emulate to see if I can recreate the results, with varying success levels. Responses : To thefool, "You can't have seriously thought he was hacking." Nah... Not really, HTML code is a little trickier to take on than say flash based stuff and the site's overall encryption since they deal with real-world money exchanging is really good, combined with a little detective work checking hacker forums and hearing this game complained about because the hackers, crackers and miscreants can't bust it and are whining about it... so again, yeah; not so much. To Some other guy, the Kenny Rogers quote was pretty cool, (verbatim by the way, well played Sir) "As per thread title. WHAT?" I thought that was obvious. It was in reference to a contest and was a question, so... yeah. "Contests Question" seemed apropos. To everyone else, I enjoyed the banter, saw some interesting perspectives and had a couple of laughs. My statement, "Think y'all got a hacker in the woodpile. LOL" was a joke.(Ergo the LOL at the end of the line) and is a modification of the old decidedly politically incorrect American saying, " I think there's been a nig... you know, I'm not going to elaborate any further, but I hope it didn't chap anyone's ass to badly... If it did, Walgreens and USA Drug are both running discount sales on various creams and ointments. (For our players north or south of the US borders or on the other side of the western or eastern pond, y;all are on your own.) Have fun y'all.
  13. Question... How the hell does THIS work? I mean I can understand spending a shit ton of Kobans, but c'mon, this looks a little, well... fishy. According to his/her bio, "sats" has been playing three months. Since the start of the new contest, (Less than 18 hours) he/she has accumulated 411,675 points. HOW? Again, according to bio stats he/she has 42 girls. That means, according to the points layout he/she... Gave out 411,675 expirence points (At 500 points per epic book that's 823 books), Leveled up every girl he/she has 8.5 times (not possible; affection wise anyway) or acquired 82 and a half (roughly) new girls. Think y'all got a hacker in the woodpile. LOL
  14. "Calm leads to enlightenment; Anger leads to disappointment." (Which consequently, is why Conner McGregor "trash talked" to his opponents; Piss them off and they make mistakes.) But to keep us on track and continue the discussion, for the most part it is entirely chance, and after all, in a game of chance, "You pays Yo' money, You takes Yo' chances." Upon seeing this in the "Legendary Days" forum though, I have to wonder if this ability isn't in the works for Epic Pachinko, after all, if it can work in a "Player VS Boss" arena, why NOT in Pachinko.
  15. Well... That was interesting. Got up this morning, checked e-mail, poured a cup of coffee and fired up HH. "Legendary Days"... AKA not getting anything special and thought, "What the hell, I'll give it a shot," and decided to use some of my hard earned daily allowance of Kobans to try this new "10 Shots for 12 Kobans" thing. Figured I had a snowball's chance of winning anything special and it was kind of depressing thinking about making only $52,000 (Gruntt currently at $5,200 a fight) of in-game cash for 12 Kobans, but... at least I'd be able to talk about the use of the new 10-shot with some expirence under my belt, so I did it. And Gruntt coughed up Miss Spook. I was a little under-enthused even though I won a new girl of my class since it wasn't anything special, so I'm thinking, "Oh well... That was fun." and just for the hell of it, played another ten shot and won the Twins. Not a bad morning... Probably gonna be a long time before I try THAT again.
  16. Not sure on the "drop rate" but I can tell you Finalmecia tops out at Level 260 and 26.5k per battle. (Or per PERFORM! LOL)
  17. Agreed Ron. Kinda like the differences between "Mexican " and "Spanish." LOL
  18. Nothing wrong with either. My only preference would be that a French speaking Canadian's version of English is more from the 'West end of the Pond" and therefore easier for us Yanks to understand. LOL
  19. Be careful what you wish for... They could hire someone who used to work for HP Tech Support; French is easier to understand than the version of English they're trying to use.
  20. Ou vous pouvez toujours faire confiance à Bing Translate pour faire le travail pour vous… C'est ce que je fais. (Yes I know... it belongs in the French Forum. LOL)
  21. Okay... Okay... The French was done "Tongue in Cheek" Cut a brother some slack for an attempt at humor. (Ne sois pas un tel bâton dans la boue. LOL) I do have to agree with the idea that translation does leave something to be desired every now and again, but English leaves a lot open too, and not always open well... My cousin from London couldn't understand why the bar got quiet when he visited here in Missouri because he blurted out, "I'm gon run t'the back and suck down a fag before we take off, aright?" (I thought we were going to have to fight our way out. )
  22. Je devrais peut-être jouer la version française comme le fait mon cousin canadien. LOL
  23. Again now, adding another two cents worth, this is just my perspective, but since I don't buy bulk Kobans per se, I earn then over time, playing the daily activities, completing the "Special Activities" of a given event and occasionally place high enough in contests to pick up a few here and there so I like the "Best Bang for the Buck." Now before anyone starts rolling their eyes and grumbling, "Mother-f****r in here complaining when he doesn't even pay to play," I buy my monthly card, thank you, and I think for the price of $2.99 USD it's a damned good bargain. So during a thirty day period I rake in 6300 Kobans (60 a day from the card plus 150 a day from the activities times thirty days) and that doesn't include anything I might squeeze out of Special Events, so yeah I could get at least one guaranteed girl a month, but c'mon,... Where's the rush in that? (Please reference my Casino comment from earlier. LOL) All that being said, I do have to agree with Ben9 that it's poorly worded and misleading; probably unintentional, but misleading.
  24. I dunno on that last part Natstar… I would think the possibility of getting ten for ten (rare as that would be) would increase the number of single games a given person would play vs playing a ten-shot simply from knowing that there's the possibility of winning at a game of chance as opposed to shelling out for ten games and getting a sure win only once. (I avoid casinos; I understand myself. LOL) From my own perspective, I have to say that if I had won three of eight times, I'd probably not bat an eye at losing the next thirty, just from the rush of the idea I just might do it again. (Which again, is why I avoid casinos like the palgue. LMAO! )
