  1. Thanks to everyone for putting in their two cent's worth of information about my question. If nothing else, at least there are logical answers to the question. Still seems like you're "buying" a new girl, not "winning" one, but, c'est la vie. At any rate, I wasn't trying to downplay anybody's contributions to the forums by asking if it were possible to get a developer's input, be they an "Advanced Member," "Moderator" or whatever title they have from having answered people's (sometimes repetitive apparently) queries about different aspects of the game, I was always taught if you wanted an answer from the horse, you asked the head end, not the tail. Again, thanks to all for taking the time for all the input and information, it is appreciated.
  2. I nosed around and found the original posting about it... I was correct in it alluding to the idea that you will only win ONE girl for a 10x Epic Pachinko for 5400 Kobans. Would it be possible to have a DEVELOPER please verify the facts?
  3. I noticed in another post that someone questioned the logic behind what they could win at "Epic Pachinko" and I thought the conversation was amusing to say the least. Now I'm certain that we all understand that a random number generator and complex algorithm are what determines what you either win or don't win playing the pachinko games and/or boss drops or anything else that's a game of chance. For the nay-sayers, yes, I know it's electronic, and yes, it's true chance, just like the electronic slot machines in Vegas, Atlantic City, Monte Carlo or anywhere else are; here however is my little problem with the whole set-up. A poster questioned if it was possible to win more than one girl at Epic Pachinko playing ten games for 5400 Kobans and a moderator (I think, maybe an advanced member, I can't recall) stated that they couldn't win more than one girl when playing ten games at a time because it was a "guaranteed win" of one girl. SO... By THAT line of thinking, you're not really playing a "game of chance" as it were, you're just buying a girl for roughly $35.00, (Based off Koban prices in real world cash) now the same responder (moderator/advanced member) did state that you could always play ten single games and win no girl at all or play ten single games and win ten girls. (Highly unlikely... If anyone ever does it, I'd like video proof because I need to talk to you about buying my Powerball tickets.) Now as I stated before, games of pure chance are a pretty neat, exciting, adrenaline rush. Paying for ten games of chance at a time, thinking you're getting ten games of chance but not really getting ten games of chance... That's a little shady. Better to just call it what it is, make a spot in the Market (or the game table) to "Win a Random Girl - 5000 Kobans." (Could be a Common, Rare, Epic or Legendary) THAT would be a game of chance, not to mention truth in advertising. (Stick it in between the Pachinko Machines and have it look like a slot machine window) Of course you always COULD make, "Ten games for 5400 Kobans" true chance and have the possibility, however highly unlikely; to win ten girls, ten legendary items or ten legendary gifts at the ten games. After all what's the fun of playing poker if you never even had the chance draw a natural Royal Flush, right?
  4. Gotta agree with Masters on this one... Not really seeing spending kobans to accelerate fighting bosses to farm in-game money as a "feature" it's more of an option; an expensive option. Maybe as an augmentation to the monthly card with an increase to $5.00 USD instead of $2.99, then yeah... Maybe. At any rate, I just play for the heck of it, so I'm not worried about the "speed increase" of fighting ten times with one mouse click. Not so much a complaint as an, "I just don't see it as a useful option," kind of thing. To each his/her own. My only gripe with the game right now is that the Harem interface screen is agonizingly slow. Granted I live out in the boonies with blazing 1.5MB DSL but the load up/re-config of the harem screen every time you go to it is almost painful. In its defense though, it is pretty cool and had a lot of thought put into it.
  5. I'm kinda on the fence on this one... I've battled Donatien so many time I lost track trying to get him to drop Lola, (tight-fisted bastard won't let her loose) but snatched two girls from Silvanus, all three girls from Bremen, and two from Finalmecia; and then Gruntt is still holding on to two chicks too, so yeah it's kind of a pain in the ass, but at the same time there is a certain amount of luck involved, despite notes to the contrary. Now I play making kobans a few at a time, let out a "Whoo-Hoo" when I get to enough to play a round of Epic Pachinko and most of the time all I end up with is junk I could have bought with in-game cash, but I've won a few ladies at the game, so like the electronic slot machines in Monte Carlo and Vegas, there's a certain amount of good old fashioned random luck involved. I forgot who made the quote, "You pays yo' money, you takes yo' chances." and it fits any game. (I'm cheap and I think I've spent a whopping ten bucks playing since I started.) but personally, I'd hate to see how long the algorithm is for fighting battles with interconnected stats to win only to stress myself out over it and find out it's nothing but pure chance.
  6. I have the same problem... Not sure if there's a glitch that is keeping a player from searching for themselves or what the actual issue is, but I could also find Yamamura and Blain who both replied to the thread, but not my own ranking. weird, right?
  7. And... As of the last update from Microsoft, EDGE started displaying everything correctly.
  8. Ummm... Maybe I'm just blind, but where did the ability to have Tower Battles go?
  9. Next dumb question, if it's capped at 25, how (and is it worth the effort) do you build it other than boosters?
  10. I beg to differ, not using Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer 11 you can't.
  11. I hope not but it is a little more than aggravating to fight the same Boss over and over and over and over and all you get to show for it is a slow increase in winnable cash until they max out. Been trying to win Lola from Donatien for weeks on end and finally just said the hell with it.
  12. It may sound like stupid questions, but... A.) What the hell good is CRIT? B.) What good is a high CRIT level? C.) Where is your Mojo level shown? D.) Is a high Mojo level good for anything?
  13. Couple of questions on the new patch; 1. - Are we going lucky enough to see their battle stat numbers on the team assignment page so we can gauge who we want at a given time or are we stuck trying to remember which ones we want from another page? 2. - Are we EVER going to get a return of seeing the potential effects of a item from the market BEFORE we purchase it, or are we just SOL on that?
  14. Hope someone at the developers actually reads these... Posted November 23 In the last day or so, I've noticed that the girl's stats are no longer visible when you're changing team members and the attributes of items for purchase at the market aren't either. Did we develop a new glitch? Makes shopping and lining up a team a little difficult. Anyone else having this issue?
  15. Having the same problem since the last update. Hovering the mouse over an item gave you it's stats, most decidedly useful before purchasing something at the market, or seeing exactly how many points you were getting ready to give to a harem member to make the best use of what you had purchased. (After all why give a girl 100 points when she only needs 10 to upgrade?) Now you simply cannot see that. Needs fixed ASAP.
