I've been really busy lately, so I haven't had time to update this thread in a while, but I do have a lot more ideas, and of course, a lot more girls to model. I also tell myself that one of these days I'll get around to learning more about PH, including how to make my own textures. But that'll require a sit-down for a weekend or two with the proper tutorials. The upside is that I'll be able to create outfits that aren't what I can find from the standard kit plus lucky finds from other modders. The downside is that by the time I do that, there'll be a new 3D framework for me to master... some days, I tell myself, I may as well learn Blender and / or Daz3D... -

You only really need the alpha to be in your school. The rest can be whatever. For most charm players who were around for the relevant events, this typically means Fanny and Fiore. Same goes for players in every school: get a legendary ASAP, then level it to 5* ASAP.
Barring that, you're "slumming" with an epic or common (also presumably leveled all the way). It's not that bad; I PVPed with 5* Metal Noemy just fine around the early 200 levels, and with 5* Kalissa a bit before that, winning something like 2/3 to 3/4 of the fights. With 5* Fanny, it's around 5/7 so far.Legendary equipment makes up for a lot of this. Half of the 1/7 I clearly can't beat are because of purple equipment of their school.
The real drawback accounts for most of the remaining 1/7: they're of another school, with similar stats and alpha, and their crit ability is simply better than mine. Charm's crit strength is the only thing I really wish Kinkoid could fix, that they could fix quickly.

Noted. Yes, I'm already prepared to manage my own expectations. The upside is that once money comes in that fast, it keeps coming in, so I can afford to farm for a while.
(Although it would be nice to be able to force certain stats, for a price.) -

Well then roll back the changes. Implement them one at a time to find the problem, and whichever change caused it, get rid of it.
Which then (1) takes time that would otherwise be spent on other new features, (2) backs out a feature that would have to be implemented another way or not at all, and (3) causes players to gripe about a new feature that got taken back right away.
I mean, I'm not happy about it either, but I choose to solve it by trying to look into the problem myself when I have time (my weekend's pretty full). -

Story of my life. If I get purples at all, they're usually all-stat. If they're one stat at all, they're HC (I'm charm). If they're epic charm, they're either pants (which are always charm when an event awards them), or the RNG has rolled them with low stats and they're actually a downgrade. Sheesh.
I can't wait until I finish spending cash on affection on my remaining girls and can start farming pachinko. -
Less than 5 days to go, and I've only now finished chewing through the easy marks who are higher level than me. I'm enjoying this XP gravy train.
I have maybe 2 more I might beat, but I'll save them for later.
4th place, for now. I'm sure that will change. 5-7 are only one win behind. 15th is only 5 wins down.

As of this writing, the official pace car is now at 138 points.
Which, in my league, puts me at 8th place. Which, like, I dunno. It's still only 100 people, folks. Hmm. 7 days * 24 = 168 hours, times 2 is 336, minus about a sixth is 280... yeah, one koban refill gives you the maximum 297. One. 180+ kobans to get 144 more, at best. Whyyyyyyy. (sigh)

I'm 42nd by level, by my count. But I'm already beating people as much as 20 levels above me. I've slipped to 7th, mostly because it's now a 5-way tie. With two people already having bought a refill, each at 90. They're 12 fights ahead of us at this writing, meaning they must have done this about three hours ago. I guess their bedtime is 10:30pm EST. Lookit me, I'm Detective Hollo.

And we're back. 4th place as expected. And I'm already in a 3-way tie for 1st. Which means I'm 3rd. Sigh. Frickin' tiebreakers... Oh well. It'll unwrinkle soon.

Because you have to hit the reset button somewhere, if you're going to award end-of-season prizes. No one cares that energy is continuous, because energy only drives the storyline, which is an individual open-ended goal. Combat points are likewise driving arena, which is largely individual. You can get prizes for winning 16 of them, but that's easy to do, even with points left over.
Energy and combat matter a little for weekly leaderboard prizes, but those are such an old player's game that even I ignore them at level 250-260.

More good news: the rows sort on level and challenges left! Excellent!
More bad news: they made some change to the harem UI, that causes tab-enter traversal to no longer work. It has a bad reaction with HH++ when you try. Uuuuugh. I'm looking for the traversal order, but I'm having a devil of a time.

At this point, I feel confident I'll end up in the 2-4 bracket, provided no one below me spends 90 kobans to get an extra 24. I could mathematically overtake #1, but only if he gives up at least 20 or so fights - if he takes the fights he's getting for free, he'll maintain first place.

Heh. Arrrgh. Toss that record out, obviously. I do recall it took a surprisingly small number of fights to recruit her - something like two days' worth - but I somehow deleted it, so this is unusable.
