Even if you got the 'best' girl yet don't treat her right (= upgrade her affection and keep her XP up to date) then you can still limit yourself in gameplay. Always check the girls' stats and their attack points for whatever category you're in and base your team decision on that. Even a wiki can get things wrong at times.
