  1. I understand that once you take part in a particular contest, the data will start updating, no? I’m waiting to see if my next boss fight will update my “lost” 20 fights’ worth in points.
  2. Adding to the other bugs—contests seem frozen on my end, I’ve just used 20 combativity points on fighting bosses, and also used up energy and gained xp, but I’m still at 0 in all contests.

  5. Thanks for the explanation. So if the leagues are small enough, there’s a chance. But not in all cases. And sorry about the follow-up question, it must have been my imagination. Shouldn’t the lower level player be the winner in case of a tie though? (not that it will be my case, I’m way too weak compared to others in my current league, but as a general rule). To gauge performance and merit? I guess this would be another suggestion—sorry of it’s misplaced.

So this has been suggested before in the Leagues discussion amongst other feedback, here it is seperately: we’ve been told that the Leagues is a system allowing us to compare our strenth against other players. So why allow koban refills? I get that devs need to eat, but why not charge somewhere else? This doesn’t make sense to me. I have just made it to the Wanker II league with my 100ish level (now 103, I started in the 90’s). I went through quite some trouble to have good stats and win, and now I’m in am upper league with strong players. There are only 6 players below my level in this league, the remaining 93 players’ levels are way higher—starting at 137 (except two players at 104 and 106), with the top player going as high as 298. I’m confident I can beat a handful of players above my level (perhaps 10). Even if I do I’m pretty sure the week will take its toll on me once I reach my limit and won’t allow me to make it to the next league. Now, 40 minutes in the second session of the Leagues and the top 4 players have already been spending kobans on refills like crazy. So there’s no chance for anyone else catching up to them unless players spend kobans. So... that seems really unfair, first; and second, it defeats the stated purpose of the Leagues. My suggestion is to get rid of the refills. Also, weren’t lower level players with equal score in the Leagues be at the top of the list? Or has this (fair) rule been discarded?
  7. Thanks for you answer. I'm not convinced. Only a few players can advance to the next league. The number of players is being increased, which means more strong players in a league. It will take more than just a few weeks to advance at all since the league composition is randomly generated. But even so, assuming that you do advance: then what? There's little (or no) chance you'll get a juicy reward (which in my opinion is the real objective). I think the Arena serves (or should be seen as serving) a different purpose. You fight opponents one-off, you get rewards and Mojo, there's a daily quest: you get immediate results. The Tower of Fame gives me information on players' levels, rankings, and stats. I can tell how well I compare by looking at it. So why would I need the Leagues to tell me something I already know?
  8. Thanks for this--much welcomed improvements. My preference goes for Option 1 and I voted so. My biggest concern with the Leagues is the huge gap in levels, which will obviously prevent me and a lot of players to advance. I see the above improvements (increase in number of players and reduction of the leagues' lifetime--though somewhat cancelled out by a faster recharge) as a way to cope with it a bit more. Having said that, there's still too big of a chance that for the same playing time (also assuming a lot of effort is put into improving one's stats), a player may simply never get good rewards or advance to the next league. Wondering how well time will help solve that. In my opinion, just like you compete in leagues in a sport, you should be battling players of roughly equal levels--this would actually encourage players to improve their stats. My stats are good for my level and have allowed me to defeat a number of players 30 to 40 levels above mine. But there's just now way I can defeat the rest. In other words, why should one invest in equipment or capacities if it's not paying off?
  9. You both make good points. Fair enough, and we’ll se if the devs come up with anything. In the meantime, I guess I’ll enjoy what the regular server has to offer and look forward fo mid-September!
  10. So I’ve been playing the test server like quite a few others, and I’m wondering: what if an actual reward was awarded to people who take the time to test? By that I don’t mean a reward in the test server, but in the actual server. For instance, I’ve been lucky enough after many tries to get a girl I wanted in the test server (Sailor Skytte) but I just seem to have bad luck in the regular one, and all my kobans drop me nothing interesting. I remember the last survey about HH randomly awarded a number of players a certain amount of kobans (if I’m not mistaken). Why not do something similar by allowing random test server players to keep one of the girls they were able to obtain in the test server and bring her onto the actual server? After all, without the players, there would be no game. Give and take?
  11. Wait... already?! Out of curiosity, did you get them with regular combativity points? I've been battling Gruntt for almost a month to get his last girl and I can't even make her drop...though I understand that the odds improve as I fail for these story girls (as opposed to the ones you got)? Edwarda hasn'the let anything go so far. Argh.

  13. Fair enough. If you want to get the girl in question, that is. Personnaly after 100 tries and considering the harem I'd like to put together, I figured I'd give up on getting her and try and give affection items to the ones I do care about (and save resources for the next event). Since my last post, nothing else has dropped, though (not that I haven't been trying hard!). Would your also consider this in vain, though? I.e. are the odds of getting affection items fairly low? Thanks!

To make the unlucky feel better (and since there is a world of drops out there seemingly out of reach to us commoners ) see my stats below for now: 4 days into the event: 100 fights against the Dark Lord: no drop. 112 fights against other bosses to try and get affection items (I haven't progressed enough in the game to try my luck at Travel Arcana): 1 legendary flower bouquet. Side note: one epic pachinko spin got me a not-so-useful legendary equipment. Let's keep our hopes up!
  15. Hi Mods and Devs, First things first: I've only recently started playing this game and find it truly amazing, keep up the good work! There have been a few filtering suggestions thrown at you, mine is slightly different as it relatest to sorting. It's purely a matter of personal preference, as I like my display satisfying and neat. The suggestion is actually twofold: 1. Allow for sorting haremettes by rarity, so that legendaries can be at the top and common ones at the bottom (if one wishes to sort this way). Of course the sorting option could be extended to other values. 2. Make this permanent, i.e. treat it as a user preference similar to the choice of turning the sound on or off. In other words if players do not manually change the way haremettes are sorted, then it stays as is. I'm not entirely sure whether this is feasible, but it's my two cents. Thanks!
  16. Perhaps this will make some feel better. I'm at over 260 tries with the help of 1.5k+ kobans. I got for myself six gifts. Been trying hard for the dark lord's reward and it's a bummer I can't even make much $ out of it Seeing other players get several within 100 tries makes me both envious and hopeful, though!
