I had that happen to me yesterday, but I thought it was the developers triggering it since it happened in the middle of the day (for me). I think the league reset 4 times outside normal hours, but only sometimes did I get a reward.

The current season ended about 40 minutes ago and whenever I click on the Tower of Fame, the page keeps on refreshing endlessly. The season timer is set to "-1d 23h 19m". On one instance, the page did not show a season timer and it stopped refreshing. However, I could not click on anything else on the page.
