Looks like this bug was squashed. Operating normally now.

I have been through 5 events in a row now with nothing but common girl drops. Is it irritating? Yes. Do I wish the RNG wasn't so stacked to drop as rare as it does? Yes. However, the revenue stream for the devs is to get the player to spend cash for Kobans. I get that. This means I must spend cash or suck it up and hope to get lucky. I choose the latter.

Same here. I finished 37th (wanker 2, lvl 90 player) and somehow missed enrollment. I sure hope it is a bug.

League reset is the most likely culprit. For me it took almost 50 minutes for the game to be playable again.
