Hi, I read somewhere, I don't remember where now, that your harem level boosts your battle performance. My question is how? Does it increase one or several of your stats?

I had just recruited Justine to my Harem, and very shortly thereafter she appeared, to my delight, in the storyline! Previously I had only seen her in the Harem line up of girls not yet recruited. mod edit: vague description of events from 'A Crazy Charm Test' below

I've been spending all my energy battling Bosses to win more Harem Girls... And I'm wondering if they drop at random or based on timing in the storyline. Clearly timing has something to do with it, but once your in a specific location, like Juy Sea, do they drop at random, or when they are active in the story? Any thoughts?
