  1. Your calculations are already horribly incorrect at this point. Rare Lingerie only cost 6.9k pre-update. It wasn't a 115.8% increase in cost, it was 604.4%. Which, as you yourself point out, doesn't even include how much cheaper Pachinko made things. Bunny's cost to upgrade (pre-update): = (9.583 x 6900) + (1000 + 10000 + 45000) = $122,125 Bunny's cost to upgrade (post-update): = (2.15 x 41701) + (3150 + 6750 + 18000) = $117,551.15 That's the actual cost comparison, and that's ONLY looking at the very first girl. The savings are negligible already and the new system only gets more and more expensive. For a new player, how much more would it cost them to upgrade 30 girls under the new system? = (999.75 * 41701) + (1464750 + 3138750 + 8370000) = $54,664,074.75 And under the old system? = (287.5 * 6900) + ( 30000 + 300000 + 1350000) = $3,663,750 That difference is MASSIVE. Yes, it used to be far too cheap and easy, so changing it to scale with how many girls you have made perfect sense. But you can't seriously look at the new number and tell me that isn't prohibitively expensive. Not to mention just how MANY gifts are needed under the new system which either means waiting copious amounts of time for the shop to reset (of course it now resets when you level and I can level once or twice a day, but that's hardly any different from the 12h timer) or doing lots and lots of pachinko. And what about pachinko? It's far, far less efficient now. Pre-update I could reliably do the 10x regular spin at a loss of roughly $5,000/spin if I sold everything except books. Now I'm no longer able to afford selling the gifts on top of the books and I'm lucky to get back half of what I spent (which is a loss of roughly $25,000/spin at my current level). Which means not being able to do as much pachinko and therefore not being able to get as many gifts. Pachinko is also just far more of a pain in the ass to use since it's a fair bit more inconvenient to sell back equipment now that they have individually varying stats and no longer stack. Of course, what about income? It's gone up right? Well, your girl's income has increased marginally if a decent portion of it came from event girls. Mine went from ~$44k/h to ~$46.5k/h (counting Bunny & Juliet only at 3 stars). Otherwise it would've decreased. It's also important to note that, on average, the amount of time before you can collect again with a girl has also decreased. So unless you're devoting more time to upkeep you'll make less even with a higher hourly rate. And bosses? Let's take a look a Donatien as an example. Before he'd give ~$950/battle, now he gives you ~$9,500/battle. A 10x increase. However, before you'd often get item drops as well, whereas now you don't. Those could usually sell for $1-4k for commons and anywhere from $5-25k for rares. How much that specifically contributed is up in the air but it certainly isn't insignificant and makes that 10x increase far less impressive. If I had to guess, I'd say that it's probably more like a 3-4x increase. And the final source of income is missions. That increased a good amount between more missions + more cash/mission, though I'm not sure how much exactly. Looking at it all together, there's just no way the income increase even comes close to making up the cost increase. And just wait until more girls get 4 and 5 stars. The costs will become insane. Over 900k for the 5 star upgrade cost alone, on the first damn girl. The 30th girl would cost you something like a whopping 28m not even including the costs for gifts.
  2. No, it doesn't. Bunny at 0 stars gets 1140/h. At 1 star and 2 stars she gets 1260/h. And at 3 stars she gets 1300/h. And she's the only one out of all the girls you mentioned who just so happens to not increase when going from 1->2 stars. As another example, Red Battler increases with every star, going from 824/h at 0 to 1300/h at 3.
  3. Only if you're an Expert though. Since she's a Charm girl with great Charm, has the highest Hardcore stat out of all non-Harcore girls, and one of the lowest Know-how stats in the game.
  4. Ehhh... it's a waste of story exp if you reach max level way before where it currently ends. I wouldn't call it better until you've already reached max level playing normally. I wasted some kobans on a few missions right at the start 'cause I had thought the timer was how long you had to complete them before you lost them and spending kobans was how you completed them. I also used kobans to refill my energy a few near times the beginning which was a waste, especially since my max energy wasn't too high back them. And this is super minor, but I kinda wished I hadn't leveled up Kimie at all. She's the perfect alpha for exp farming so it would've been nice to have her at Level 1. Really minor though since there's almost no difference in stats at Level 1 anyway.
  5. Lower excitement increases the bar faster so lower is actually better in that particular case.
  6. Okay, that one is. You shoulda posted that one!
  7. Yeah, referring only to the time period of the event. Nowhere does it actually say that it's a general improvement for all future events. It was just a message reiterating what was said in the Music Festival event message, in order to encourage people to buy and use kobans during that event. I understand finding it misleading - I was also unsure if it had meant it was going to be like that for future events or not. But when this event started, it didn't mention anything about event girls being guaranteed, and after looking around the forums, other people confirmed you indeed could get non-event girls. All that doesn't negate that you made a mistake. They were certainly unclear, and maybe they'll be generous and refund you because of that, but you're still the one who decided to take the risk. And it was risk. The information available to you ultimately said chances that that was the case were pretty iffy.
  8. Currently: I think my favorite right now is Rumiko. I like Gini, Abrael, Shehera, and Summer Red Battler too.
  9. Nah, that was only for last event. That's why it says "During these 14 days..." in that message. Sorry to say, but it's just an unfortunate mistake on your part.

Right, balanced is pointless. For now at least. It may change when they overhaul PvP. If you're interested in the specifics as to why: Attack = Primary Stat + (3 x Alpha Girl's Same Stat) Defence = (0.5 x Non-Primary Stat) + (1.5 x Alpha Girl's Same Stat) With those calculations alone it means you need double of your other stats to reach equivalent effectiveness to your primary stat. But that's not the only issue. While your Attack is effective against all opponents, your Defences are only effective against players/bosses with the respective specializations, further reducing their usefulness to 1/3 that of your primary stat (assuming equal distribution of specializations among players). And the final nail in the coffin is how your Ego is calculated: Ego = (7.5 x Primary Stat (not from equipment)) + (12.5 x Primary Stat (from equipment)) + Endurance from equipment + (11 x Alpha Girl's Stat that matches your Primary Stat) So not only does your primary stat determine your Attack, it's also basically the sole factor for determining your HP. (As an aside, this also shows how useless equips that give endurance instead of stats are.) The only thing that benefits from increasing all 3 stats as much as possible is your Crit which is calculated by: Crit = 0.005 x (Hardcore Stat + Charm Stat + Know-how Stat) However, your Crit stat has a cap of 25% so you even that can only be taken so far.
  11. Hmmm, either Los! Los! Los! by Tanya Degurechaff (Yuuki Aoi) or Preach by SonReal or Wotamin's cover of Yume to Hazakura

    Favorite movies?

I don't watch a lot of movies, tbh. Probably Lord of the Rings.

A few things: 1) Sarkasth is right. They're still working on developing PvP content. But yes, at the moment, there isn't any point to it outside of personal satisfaction. 2) Rather than complicated, the way stats work right now is overly simple. The only thing that really matters is: main stat > everything else. Focus solely on maximizing your main stat and you maximize your entire potential. Which isn't even mentioning how completely unnecessary it is to worry about maximizing your stats in the first place when all the other players are nerfed by having their girls' stats ignored. 3) Looking you up in the tower, you appear to specialize in Know-how. That means Summer Red Battler is infinitely better than Bunny for you. In fact, S. Red could be considered the best Know-how girl currently in the game, except perhaps compared to Samane. So I have absolutely no idea how you came to the conclusion that Bunny is better. Though if that's not you and somehow someone just happens to share your name and you do actually specialize in Hardcore... then of course Bunny is better! S. Red is a Know-how girl and Sporty Noemy is a Charm girl. A girl who matches your specialization is always gonna be better, barring very few exceptions. Among just Hardcore girls, Bunny is ultimately low-tier.
  14. Yeah, I know people are always complaining about this, but it's honestly not that bad. I haven't even been playing 2 months (7 weeks to be exact), and I have 20 girls right now. 7 of those are regular boss drops and another 4 are the drops from the past two events. Like bernsai said, you can get regular boss girls at a rate of about one per week. Plus, it's easy enough to get the 2 event girls to drop within the two week timespan that events last. And since they've been doing an event every month, that's another 3 girls every month on top of the story girls and regular boss drop girls.
  15. Yeah, this guy's got it. I was also gonna edit in (except you can't edit apparently) that if you wanted to all but guarantee getting a girl (<1% chance of not getting one), you'd be looking in the ballpark of about 2000 fights. Though again, these numbers are just hypothetical
  16. Well ignoring that it's just a guess for now... First, it's 1 every 20 minutes, not 14. Which is 8000 minutes for 400 rounds, or 133 hours. So assuming an average of 45 fights a day (aka 15 hours worth of battle energy), you could expect to get a girl within 9 days, rounded up. Based on just my own experience, I've been playing for about a month and a half and I've gotten 6 girls + 2 event girls from battling. Ignoring the event girls (since I assume they have a higher drop rate than normal), that's an average of only 7.5 days per girl. So my estimated drop rate might be too conservative, or my tiered drop rate idea may have the right idea. Or I've just been lucky. Whatever the case may be, having a girl drop is certainly possible. Not exactly... After 400 rounds, your chances of getting a girl on the 401st round indeed be 0.25%, because every round is an independent event. But just as it becomes less and less likely that you'll continue a streak of flipping a coin and consecutively getting only heads, it becomes less and less likely you won't get a girl at any point within those 400 rounds. Mathematically, not getting a girl at some point within 400 rounds has only a ~37% chance of occurring. Which is still significant, but hardly the 99.75% each independent event hypothetically has.
  17. No, no one does. If I had to guess, I'd say it's something like 0.25%. Depending on whether each girl is considered a separate drop or not, I could see it being 0.25% per girl or just a constant 0.25% for a girl to drop in general.
  18. Oh, huh. I had thought there was an order to getting them, based on my experience with Dark Lord and Ninja Spy. I got Shehera first, followed by Arcana from Dark Lord, and then Solveig first, followed by Rumiko from Ninja Spy. So I figured it was a set order of Alpha Girl > Omega Girl > Beta Girl. Guess I was just lucky in getting the girls I'd wanted from them!
