Yeah, and their not going to do anything about it. Every Event always screws up like this, they never do anything about it. Only thing I can recommend, is after you move one puzzle piece, wait a while and watch the pink gauge to see if it moves up, confirming that you already placed that puzzle piece correctly.

When they did the massive Reset for v2.0, they gave us all a ton of Ryo to compensate, but due to glitches in the UI with the new release back then, I accidentally ended up spending half of it on getting new conversation unlocks. Which sucked, considering how rare money is in this damn game, and how low quality the MS Paint scenes are.

So, I also have this problem every time a new Story Girl is released, and I think I know what the problem is. Did you craft "Bunny's Sex Toy" with your Mojo? It gives you a percentile chance of skipping non-boss Stages. I think that might be screwing with how girls are being detected and acquired, like possibly the girls are awarded on Stage 501, instead of 500, and after the Boss the game just "skips" 501 so you lose credit. Ever since Trascending started reseting your Crafts, I stopped unlocking Bunny's Sex Toy, Dirty Talking Script (having more time on the Boss doesn't really guarantee you'll win, better off losing and claiming money from normal Stages, especially if your AFK grinding) and Mojo Runic Wallpaper (it causes the game to freeze after Resets, due to the sudden burst of damage) Although, more than likely, your damage is just so high that the game isn't able to register your progress to give you the girl. Usually after a dozen or so Resets, I eventually get the girl. You have to reset anyway, to increase your Maximum Stage limit, so your bound to unlock the girls, sooner or later.

The 7x guarantee is your best best, I read before this change was added that some guy here Gacha'd 10x before he got someone. My own experiences with it have been poor too, but better than most. I got pretty lucky and got like maybe 2 girls out of 7 tries (with the old system). I just wish they didn't double the Gacha costs when this "feature" was released. Real sleazy.

This stuff happens with EVERY event. I feel like they do it on purpose so you have to spent money at the last minute, to get the Ryo you need to buy Moves to finish the Event. I literally haven't been able to complete any Event in the past half year, because of crap like this. It would be nice to unlock someone new, for once.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but one thing I've noticed so far, is that when you switch from one Story Chapter to another, it completely resets your progress. That's fine, but it could at least give us the rewards that we would have gained for that acknowledging that progress reset, instead of getting nothing. It seems kind of silly, for them to prompt us about progress being reset, then not giving us the reward we would have gained, if we had simply canceled, went back to the Forge and manually reset. I know it's such a minor thing, but it seems so petty for them to ignore such a basic clicker gameplay mechanic, simply because we decided to move from one Story to another. It's not a big deal in the context of this test server, but imagine going all the way up to Stage 13000 and then switching to another Story without remembering to do the manual Forge reset first. Basically a huge non-sense waste of time.

Wish I would have checked here before reluctantly dropping all my hearts on Mizuki, because her +5 seconds on Boss was totally worth losing 300 Affection on :(
