No drop, despite about 15 refills. Used only free kobans.

I've noticed that ever since they added affection items to the mission rewards that the item rarity doesn't align with the mission rarity. For example, I usually just get normal items for doing rare or epic missions, as shown in the attached image. It feels kind of like a waste to do an epic mission only to get a normal reward item. Are there any plans to make the reward item rarity align with the mission rarity?
