shards last less than a minute on main, so comparatively you have it easy :D

I was surprised, I was figuring it to be a little slower than yesterday, but it was even faster, at least the 7amET and 9amET shards were. I've never gone for a mythic before, so I'm hesitant for my first try try to be at the end of the contest. Guess I'll wait to see what it's like later today, to see if I'll even try to get Nike.

In this case, assuming your 5* Commons are also level 550, I would swap the White legendary and possibly one or both of the Orange for Blue commons. At Player Level 311 you likely have a fairly small passive Lifesteal bonus, so just a +6% active bonus from your two Blue legendaries might not be enough. Also important to keep in mind: the Boss' initial stats are based on your own Player Level, not your current max Girl Level. So in your case, since you're pretty ahead in awakenings for your player level, you'll be facing a level 300-ish (up to 400-ish near the end of the run) Boss versus your team of level 550 girls. So stats should be good enough even from 5-star Commons, better maximize the Lifesteal imho.

2 ginsengs 1 cordyceps, all legendary, would be ideal yes. 3 ginsengs could do the trick as well, but the single cordy makes a big difference for the Lifesteal strat (backed by your full rainbow gear).

Also, just to be 100% clear (even if @lepidocter made me laugh ^^): the order of girls in the hex grid doesn't matter at all in the "BDSM" 7 vs 7 (or here 7 vs 1 ^^) format. It's only visual: every turn, you see one member of your team attacking, but what's actually happening is that you attack with your team's average stats and with access to all their skills. You can activate Lifesteal even when it's not a Blue girl shown attacking as it happens, and so on. It's the opposite of what happened in the old system (and still does only in Champion fights).

Anyways, best of luck to you in this BB. Hope you lifesteal your way to victory this time. :)

Thanks I appreciate it. Yeah, the 5* Commons were also 550. I ended up using the team I described above, and it took me to round 93. I just made a 2nd team then with the 5* Commons and some other strong girls I still had, and they took it home then for me.

How can you be level 311 and don't know that the center girl get a 150% boost on her attack?

No, just joking, it doesn't matter, she just attack first. And that's doesn'tmatter a lot, you want for ALL girls to be equally strong or you'll **DIEEEE**.

Thanks for the response, I'm sure there's plenty that I don't know yet about the game. So we'll see how it goes for me this time.

As always: it depends. You want to maximize your healing to damage ratio, so you can heal all the damage the boss does to you, each turn. Heal depends on your own attack, as well as heal%. Damage done depends on the opponent attack, as well as your defense. So you can maximize a combination of: attack, defense, heal%, critical chances (= more damage = more heal), critical damage.

If you have enough strong Grey/Blue girls, that's your best combination. Don't sacrifice too much power/attack for a few more heal%. It's better to heal 6% of 40k damage than 9% of 20k damage. If you don't have enough Grey/Blue girls, you can add Orange, Red or White ones (Crit chances, Crit damage and Defense).

As a rule of thumb, you want at least 2 or 3 blue girls (Otherwise your heal will be too low), then fill the team with strong girls.

HP is really the least important stat in this case.

The strongest team that I think I can put together for this Bang, based on the above, is 7 level 550 5* Legendaries, 2 Grey, 2 Blue, 2 Orange, 1 Silver (white). I have a few Grey/Blue 5* Commons, but the off-color Legendaries are stronger, of course. Also, does it matter where girls are positioned in the hex formation? Should I put one of the Grey or Blue ones in the center? I'm level 311 and my stat points are all maxed. Based on the Boss Bang strategy thread, I guess the best buffs to use would be 2 Ginseng and 1 Cordyceps (all legendary)? I haven't yet won a Bang without spending Kobans, and I'd love this to be the first time, but we'll see LOL.

    Thanks for any thoughts.

Oh, I'm also using all legendary rainbow gear.

I have my own rule that I can share with you ^^
We'll focus on the top 3 stats, and ignore the harmony and endurance stat.

    image.png

This mono stat gives me +2134 in main stat, and -3400 average in secondary stats (The math being: 3434+3366=6800, 6800/2 = 3400).

    Here's what I do:
If the mono item wouldn't give me at least half of 3400 (+1700) then I would sell it.
So IMO it's only worth using mono items if they are above that 50% mark, any mix of those mono and multistat equipment are fine.

However, because critical hits are so dangerous in the current state of the game, I would like holymolly above recommend to mainly use just multistat equipment, but if you need more guaranteed damage without relying on luck (crits) then keeping mono items in your inventory and use 1-3 of them is totally fine. Using more than 3 at once just makes your harmony too low and leaves you vulnerable to critical hits from your opponents.

Also, good mono items are way harder to come by than multistat equipment and as you're still low level you will switch out your multistat equipment quite often, and as you level up they will quickly become stronger than your mono equipment.

Edit: If you found this useful, should I maybe add this info to the Performance Handbook guide? 😅

Thanks very much, it did help. And yes, strategy-type items like this, beyond the technical mechanics of the game, would also be very helpful in the guide.

the short answer (especially for newer players) imho: focus on the legendary multstats equips :)

You´ll level up soo fast that I wouldn´t even bother with it atm.. multistats are most of the time the best option. You can obviously optimize your equipment for every pvp opponent but that takes a lot of time and obviously depends on their set up as well. Try to use the best legendary multistats equips you have and save a set of legendary mono´s just in case you want to optimize :)

Thanks for the response. So ATM, I'm level 157, and my current gear is all legendary multistat and near my current level, except for one piece that's a legendary monostat in my primary. Now I just got a legendary multistat for that same slot. If I used the new piece I'd lose about 650 in my primary and gain about 4.5k net in all my other stats, roughly 1.1k each. So if I'm understanding you, it's too early for me to be concerned about a a subtlety like this, and that it wouldn't matter that much which of these two pieces that I used? Or should I still use the new piece because it's multistat? If it really doesn't matter though, then I might as well just sell the new piece for $15k, LOL.

  7. Hello, I'm a new player, just a couple weeks, and still learning my way around. I understand that it's best to use equipment with multistat boosts or a monostat boost in your primary stat. But what about when you have a mix. If I get a piece that would give me about 400-500 boost in my primary but about 4k-5k net loss in my other stats, do I still use it solely because of the primary stat boost?

    Thanks for any insight.
