So you're implying, too, that HH have no intention of addressing the imbalance among classes (hardcore, charm and know-how) in this game? At the moment charm is over-represented in world reward girls, so they will all eventually be upgraded to 5 stars. Charm girls upgraded to a potential 5 stars include Juliette, Jennie, Princess Noemy and Abrael. I am assuming the next girl to get the 5 star option will be Kalissa, also charm. Those 5 star girls each have attack power close to or exceeding 9k so charmers have a lot to choose from for their battle team compared with hardcore in particular. Abrael in particular is way out in front in every battle stat compared with any of the hardcore girls. Fairy should have been given the same stats as Abrael and Samane, especially attack power, but she's only a little above Bunny, Princess Agate, Princess Noemy and Jennie. I don't know why this wasn't done. As well as this, of the girls that were not random drops, charm includes particularly good stats for Flight Attendant with nobody for hardcore and Secretary Rabbi for know-how. Again, hardcore miss out. The summary is as follows: 5 star charm girls: 4 (5 with Kalissa probably added to the list in the near future) - Abrael's 5 star attack power, up to 11,400 5 star know-how girls: 4 (with all likely to have been completed) - Samane's 5 star attack power, up to 11,400 5 star hardcore girls: 3 (if Lenaelle is not 5 stars from the start and hardcore, hardcore players can be justifiably really pissed off). Ankyo contributes little to a battle team but she does pay out above average - Fairy's 5 star attack power, up to 9,900. So the imbalance with respect to hardcore is stark, especially when considering the order where the girls appear in most people's harems. Discounting Juliette, Bunny, Ankyo and Red Battler who enter at the start of the game, Jennie is way further up the harem than Samane or Fairy so know-how and hardcore players respectively are immediately disadvantaged with respect to the costs of upgrading them. The changes made to try to make the system fairer have had little tangible effect, in my opinion. Some aspects of this game defy any logic (the unfairness of the class imbalance being one thing, Jennie instead of Tachibana being the world reward girl being another). Jennie contributes nothing to the story, but, inexpicably, she goes to everyone's harem without any fanfare or explanation as to how this could come about, even though Tachibana has a real bond with the hero, has spunk and courage and has screwed him at least once (something we can only vaguely assume with Jennie who is betrothed to someone else). So, in the interest of fairness I'm expecting Lenaelle to be hardcore. If she isn't then expect a major protest from players! I also expect a further readjustment downwards to the cost of affection upgrade progression according to girls' place in our harems because it's still not fair and, as I said above, the changes thus far had little impact. Having said all this I wish to end on a good note. Jennie has evolved from a rather strange looking girl to a real beauty in her 4 and 5 star profile images. Artwork in general is top quality now and I'm impressed that HH have produced girls with real-world individual physical characteristics - not the usual hentai clones, typically with huge boobs and ultra-skinny waists. Sure we still have the monster boobs (Salem for instance), but also cute and perky little titties like those of Princess Agate, Princess Noemy, her servants and Lupa. Achieving this range of characteristics would take effort and real skill. I draw and sketch and consider myself good, but it is very hard to maintain consistency of character personality and physical form of a specific girl from drawing to drawing. So well done team.

In this account I'm hardcore and it's a tough ask to find the right girls for my harem. I've relied on Bunny a lot and I suspect she must need a break from all that sex. Maybe Fairy maxed to all 5 stars would be a great alpha girl, but I can't be sure. Players who have managed to max out her affection are hard to beat and they have great attack power, especially when it comes to critical damage inflicted on me - bam! bam! bam! in a row and I'm down the drain, even if I was well in front in the beginning. When this happens I want to smash something! Hardcore players have been the most hard done by and charm players by far the most favoured. The next 5 star upgrade will probably be Kalissa and (you guessed it) she's charm! If Lenaelle ends up being charm I'll spit tacks!!! She'd better be hardcore, or else! As it stands now it just isn't fair at all, especially since only Fairy (apart from Bunny right at the beginning) has been upgraded to a 5 star option for hardcore players, probably because they are the only world reward girls who are hardcore. HH messed up big time with the balancing of classes in this game and they need to fix it. I guess we do have an option of switching classes now but this may not be fantastic if we make wrong choices as the next change will cost. In one account I have Abrael maxed out and I only need to level her XP right up, but this game is know-how and I don't think Abrael works too well with know-how teams. She might be a good beta girl (maybe even alpha) for hardcore though as her defences would be great. Fairy is way along the track and I have a lot of girls in my harem before her. I only got her recently and she's upgraded to 3 stars, but I suspect she'll be expensive to get to even 4 stars. I started this account too late to even try for Justine which is a real blow because players who use her as their beta seem to be able to beat me every time (how they got her is beyond me). This is because if I'm well in front when she comes on it's game over. This said, Edna is still a great beta girl and I suspect Mary might also prove useful. I don't know what their excitement rating is to get them to orgasm quickly, but this might be worth knowing. My current harem is Bunny (alpha), Edna (Beta) and Cupid-chan (Omega), although it's a toss-up between her and Pelagie. Fairy at 3 stars isn't quite there.

Maybe you could try the 'Contact us...' option in settings to see if admin can restore the default. I had the same problem. I clicked on the tick box by mistake which means I have to be really careful from now on. Let me know how you get on.

F**k it!! Just did a round of another 20 battles with Dark Lord in one account for zero success. He's maxed out on lvl 30 and I think he's been like that for the last 2 rounds before this one. I might just give up for a while and head over to Sylvanus because he pays out more and I've got a chance to upgrade my harem. Sylvanus is leveled up enough to pay out well. Come to think of it, I haven't had any luck at all in that account with random drops from battles since the Valentine's Day event (and I got both girls). I won Leeditt in Epic Pachinko on a single play, but nothing else since. I find this more interesting than depressing just how my luck can be so completely patchy, and I have multiple accounts to test this theory. Prior to this event, in that account I had a great run of luck right from (and including) Winter Chill, but zero luck in what is my most successful account for this current event. Has anyone got any theories as to why this might be?

Don't worry, there's still time. In this account I've yet to get Nicole and in another account I haven't got either of them. In my Lili account I eventually got Nicole, then had an incredible run of luck in the same 20 round battle session. I carried on battling Donatien and Pelagie dropped, which cleaned out his team. Then I went back to Gruntt and Miss Spook dropped! I carried on thinking I should try to get the final girl, Regine, and, with four chances to go, I remembered I should go on to Edwarda to try get her final girl, Bonny, and at the second attempt she dropped. I thought, WOW! I should point out that this is exceptional for me and I now expect my luck to dry up. It usually happens this way. Never mind, I'll keep trying, but, in the meantime, I'd have the chance to upgrade the affection levels of these girls. It's getting really hard as I kept getting new girls! It sounds like nothing can please me, but I'm always broke! They're high maintenance! The game where I'm like you and neither event girl has dropped, may be like one of my games in the last 14 day event where I got nothing as well, but where I've been really successful this time. It's very much swings and roundabouts and very patchy luck. In that account I'm about to try the 20 battles again. Dark Lord is on Lvl 30 (was 19 at the start of this event) and in most other cases he dropped Pooky at around lvl 22-26. So here goes! I'm heartily sick of battling an opponent who pays out so little for a win because I have girls I need to upgrade and this means money! In that game, by now I should be battling Sylvanus, the only troll in these later worlds who still has girls for me to pick up. There's something to be said for having multiple accounts. Three of them belong to the females of this household and I inherited them because the girls (curious for new games) became bored with playing this game (surprise, surprise!) and they let me use their accounts. They discovered and then went on to romance games and interactive visual novels - ren'ai - instead. So I'm playing their games and am able to see across accounts just how different my luck is in each game, as well as getting different girls in Epic Pachinko. Haven't got Lupa yet, though, but I've got Shao and Liu-Yeng twice each. I soooo want Lupa!

I'll be f**ked!! I've been trying for Nicole since the second day of the event and who do I get? The damned Housemaid! Furthermore, she's know-how and I'm hardcore for this game. It aint bloody fair! It aint. Well, apart from Nicole, there is only Regine to collect from Gruntt now so I guess I shouldn't moan too much, especially since the Housemaid is one of the cutest girls one could get for the harem. There's still plenty of time to get Nicole and I have Pooky. In another account I haven't been successful in winning either of the event girls so I should be starting to bash my head against the wall soon. Say, I've been using my PC rather than the laptop It uses Windows 7 and the laptop uses Windows 10 (which seems to slow down Firefox dramatically on wifi). The PC runs too fast in Firefox for me to see much of the effect of the girls dropping. The middle of the screen just goes dark and the middle star is missing (as compared with the central star being the usual prelude to a money reward). I can barely make out the silhouette before it rushes to merge with the full image of the girl who dropped, and I'd have no show of ever screen-capturing it. It's not as much fun as on the slower laptop. I wonder if others have noticed a difference playing on different devices/OS, or even whether they care. I wonder if HH could slow down the sequence of these drops (just a little) in the way they've done in Epic Pachinko to make the effect more spectacular, but keep the menacing dark silhouette. It's just a thought.

To back up your assertion a little, if I relied on my oldest game for the Valentine revival, I'd be right out of luck. With about a day and a half to go I've yet to get either of the event girls in that game, but I've had plenty of success in the others. In my oldest game I have had some consolation, however, with troll girls dropping instead of event girls so it's not all bad, one must say. At one stage I got fed up with battling Dark Lord (trying for Val Red Battler) for no result other than Kimie so I tried my luck against Bremen with near immediate success when I got his last girl to drop for me - Marina. Apart from this, I've had four legendary gift items drop in that game, which enabled me to max out Loving Arcana's affection. In that game too I've had zero success in Epic Pachinko (single or ten plays) and only got Spring in Sexy Calendar. So, after having had a dream run in Winter Chill things dried up rather suddenly in that game compared with the consistent event girl success in my other accounts (but poor success for troll girls until from the last week). However, in that oldest game I got every random drop of troll girls from Admittance of the Dead to Plain of Rituals and only need Bonny from The Juy Sea and Rumiko from Ninja Village (2 in all) to complete my collection of troll girls. It's been the event girls that have consistently proved illusive in that game with the exception of the event I referred to. I don't really understand why this is. In another game that is only a little newer, I have both current event girls as well as Vashalanor from Epic Pachinko in a single play. I have more troll girls to collect in this game, however - 5 in all - so there is a bit of a contrast as I have three more girls in my harem in this game than my oldest. The clincher has been greater success in Epic Pachinko and four more event girls overall. In both these games I only began to get the hang of it from September on when I started to seriously try for event girls from the trolls. Since I started both games in June last year, this suggests I'm a slow learner or was not really into the game early on. When I inherited three accounts from the females in this home (being females, they became bored with playing) that's when I took playing much more seriously and began to have greater success. I only began to play Epic Pachinko from the Sports Event on, which was five months after I first started playing. Now I'm a convert and save my kobans for this purpose rather than for refilling combativity. I take my chances with luck when battling the trolls and, generally, I can't complain, although I am curious as to why my luck is so extremely patchy from event to event. This is what I mulled over most in my postings.

I've had to pack up my fishing gear and move back to battling Donatien. While I haven't given up trying for Bunny, I'm getting low on cash and need more to upgrade my girls' affection and XP. I'll try for Bunny again soonish. I still have Pussy (AKA Kelina) to win off Donatien so it's not a total washout.

Yes, they did, thinking back, and I answered it... A blank moment there! Lupa was on my list then, but it was a hard choice between her, Val Red Battler, Fairy and Hari. It was funny I chose Lupa because I hadn't got her then. There are so many great girls to choose from it was nearly an impossible choice.

Oh yes, I meant to say that you can get regular troll girls that haven't dropped yet as well as the event girls, as my posting showed. I'm finding that in this event the chances of getting an event girl seems no different from getting troll girls. It used to be fixed, regardless of your level or how many girls you already have. I'm not sure this applies now.

I have been trying for Loving Bunny and, blow me down, I got Sung Tai ki. While I'm disappointed I can't complain because her payout is first rate, if rather slow.

There is also the 'me too' element where people like me, who say she's really hot and get a 'like' reaction, prompt others who wouldn't otherwise have thought about it, to pay attention to her. It's an old psychological trick that Google and facebook use routinely. I have to now admit you have a point, but it's hard to be sure. Even if you did a pie chart or bar graph, there is still that tiny group of forum participants who would respond to such a survey, unless it is presented to all players in the way the last survey was done.

Yes, interesting, eh. Lupa has changed from being hardcore to know-how. This suited me, but wouldn't suit you. Bummer not really having enough for Epic Pachinko cos two of the girls had great hardcore stats in original form: Pelagie and Justine. If they are still hardcore, they would be worth trying for. Virginia was also hardcore, but may be shifted to balance things out - as applies to all of them (they already changed Lupa). All of girls for this event were hardcore. We have 13 days to toil for them so have a chance to get the drops off the trolls, if not Epic Pachinko. Except, in that case you could get any of the Pachinko girls you haven't already got, including regular troll captives, exclusive girls, as well as a couple of brand new exclusive girls I hadn't noticed before. One of these is suspiciously like one of the girls featured in Trapped City in Plains of Passage.

Oh yes! I agree. He's listened to us. I got Lupa in my know-how account and upgraded her to all three stars. She doesn't disappoint. Her drop broke my drought. The good news for me is that her specialty has changed from hardcore to know-how so she must've picked up a few tricks along the line. Still battling for Bunny, but it's early days. Because both Lupa and Bunny are available so far down the order, it has become a balancing act between trying for them, getting more money for battles in my currently resident world and getting regular girls in troll fights. Now that I have Lupa, as well as Bunny, her sisters and mother, I imagine there might be claws and subterfuge. Lupa and Bunny don't seem to get on.

Yes we can speculate all we want I guess. If she's know-how, this would suit me. I agree with you about unreasonable assignments of specialty. How Edwarda could ever be considered charming I have no idea (same for Sylvanus) and Salem (an expert mage with a seemingly insatiable demand for lesbian sex) could ever be a lover I have no idea. Mind you, she's incredibly hot and might be interesting to make love to. So I tend to feel the assignment of specialty is more random than planned.

I'm in the same boat, but I may not have enough kobans for the next event, having blown them in Winter Chill - not that I'm complaining at all! Of more immediate interest for you, I believe there will be a Valentine's Day revival event in February and I'm hanging out for this - the best team of hotties on the planet, especially Val Red battler (stunningly gorgeous!). This is not a spoiler because such notice has already been posted. I also believe there is another new event planned. I honestly don't know how they manage it!

I agree entirely with all these thoughts. It's the best game I've played in ages. I, too, think the developers, script writers and artists (a small and very hard-working team I believe) are doing a phenomenal job. As someone who loves drawing and painting, myself, when I consider that the artwork is mostly not generic and so is quite one-off in conception, the output has been even more outstanding. Winter Chill has been a step up in event scripting and planning with a real theme and storyline playing out. To those who created Hari's and her mother's affection scenes, I still look at them and laugh, especially at Hari's baleful, humiliated expression when her mother taunts her about her onesie and 'surfboard'. That was a look of future revenge and so it turned out. With Hari, the bunny ears have it and express her moods fantastically. I hope I haven't created a spoiler here! Thank you all!! The downside is that I'm hooked on the game and have neglected other important daily chores. It's sort of addictive. For me, it's a thrill how the girls drop and it's a great CGI trick I never ever tire of (possibly because these drops are quite rare). I wonder if anyone else is as enthusiastic as I am about it, or am I being just a bit ridiculous? Another thing too, I appreciate the chance to offer feedback in the recent survey.

I checked more closely and, yes, you're right. On that argument, once Samane is upgraded to a possible 5 stars, imagine how expensive she's going to be to upgrade! Yes, and I've found in upgrading my latest 3 star acquisitions (like Princess Tiana) that upgrade costs have been very high. A direct comparison has been possible in comparing my earliest game with the newest. Upgrading Hari was relatively easy for the newest game, but a lot more expensive to upgrade her in my oldest. I apologise for the faulty advice I gave other people.

I suspect this is very much on the minds of HH and they will be addressing it as soon as they can. It's been the season of staff holidays and a coincidental juxtaposition of so many season events and revivals. But have fun with the recently opened new quest. It has a lot of promise so far. The fact that I'm nearly half way through it already suggests that a two-quest buffer is sorely needed. It can't be that far away before we get Lenaëlle and we'll find out what her specialty is. If she's charm I'll spit! I'm also keen to find out how she'll be deflowered.
