I wasn't sure if it would work or not so I thought I would try. The message about it not working is very new and its always worked before. If they want to do that, they'd also need to exclude orbs, combativity, tickets, and kisses obtained from bundles and kobans from contests. Do you remember when you saw it or what bundle it was? I check the bundles pretty regularly (I also buy some of them, though not many) and I play daily so I'm surprised I missed this.
