Champions and date tokens

So, I've myself yet to get there but since people back in the days found the changes to kisses as the ultimate reward for regular champs "bad" as well as the legendary gift of the club champion, why shouldn't we replace these with date tokens?

For regular champs this could be a static number as with kisses now, while for CC this could be a floating amount but with a severe cap imposed depending on contribution which could be tied in with the existing shard drop formula (say from 1-10 to at most 5-10 in order to not devalue the date tokens and to discourage "nuking" of the CC).

Or am I really the only one considering date tokens to be a little underrepresented?
