There should be a way to spend the energy in another way when you hit that point. Perhaps convert a full energy bar to combativity or something, just so that it's not completely useless. Or something else. Only make this functionality available when you've hit the end of the story. It would be a good idea to come up with a contest where players can "donate" energy to boost up points, not unlike the newer "Who's talking about corruption" and "working holidays" contest, but with energy instead of money. You could call it "charity" contest to add flavor :-) At least that way the energy isn't lost. -Always a Lady but still NG, Minoin!
