lower energy regeneration rate by 3 mins

I was thinking the same thing, especially as the game moves along and tasks require more energy to complete it is particularly annoying having to wait so long to recharge. Maybe do a little slower recharge for under level 10, then a quicker one above that? But, still less time all around.

The whole idea of an idle game is to log on, click a bunch of stuff, and have several hours of your life to do other things before coming back for a brief update.

This is not a one-shot game where you finish it in a few hours and never return.

If you really have so much free time, go and play some other games, then come back.

And if you really want to play this all in one-shot, pay for kobans and you will be on your way (making the devs very happy in the process).

Well, that is kinda true..

But that doesn't justify the fact that energy is very limited and the energy cost is ever increasing :/

it's the same as with almost every other resource in almost every other game. the further you progress the slower you progress. the better your gear/skills/whatsoever the more expensive (and thus slower) it becomes to get even better gear/skills/whatsoever. since energy regenerates in a constant manner they need to increase the needed amount of energy to achieve the slower progress. this is an axiom of video games. :D

Some of us don't have the budget to Buy time/energy perhaps a way to earn it faster?

Thanks for your consideration

It's a free to play game like any free to play game you can use real life money to get a bonus since it helps fund the game you do not need to spend any money to play you can use the kobans from doing all the missions every day to use to refill your energy to go faster also every 10 levels you get a refill.

I suggest against using kobans to refill your energy due to you needing to get the 3 boss girls so no point rushing threw it use the time it takes to do the world level to get them
