It appears they may have changed the formula recently. I used to be able to figure out which fights I could with with a really high success rate. Now I can get a few wins but it's just loss, loss, loss, win, loss, loss.. Either way though, I really don't like that it takes two wins to make up points for a single loss. I brought over 80 points from the previous season, and all I've managed to do is tread water where I'm at. Canceled the card when they did the market changes making it even worse. Now it looks like I won't be buying this season either.

I'm one of the ones negatively affected by this. I use those free books to level the girls as needed and having the mythic whammies blocking slots is a massive downgrade for me personally, greatly increasing the amount of time it takes to level them (I never fell into the refresh trap so those blocked slots *really* hurt). I've already canceled the auto renewal on my card. Looking at all the button clicking that would mean now once it expires, especially with the flood of 1 stars, I have a feeling I'll lose interest fairly quickly even in the f2p. I'll likely just finish up the season then head to the next game. Life's too short to deal with badly implemented monetization. Ouch, really painful:

Agreed. Money talks. I'm another small paid person who has now canceled their auto-renewal. It was supposed to renew in 6 days too. I honestly don't care that they added the items to the game, it's a logical progression from the other things we've seen since the sale. While I think it's sad they went the koban route it's not unexpected. However, I completely and utterly *DISPISE* the fact that they blocked the market money slots with Koban items. I don't believe they're stupid, so I have to believe that was an intentional test just to see how much pushback there would be. I currently have 5 reds blocking my affection items: I honestly have to wonder if they may be trying to push people to the newer game for a "fresh" start.

How about a way to refresh contests? Right now I don't have any contests available which means it's impossible for me to gain 20,000 points, which means it's impossible for me to finish the Taming the warriors event even though I have plenty of time. Heh, that also means I wont be spending the kobans to open up the other half of the contest.

Tried the event pachinco, spent 1800 on the button push, it showed I got 4 rewards, but when I went to my stuff only one was there. Thankfully that one was useful but I kind of want to see what the other three were. Even if they're useless to me I'd at least want to sell them.

Yeah, I had a similar outcome. I didn't have as many saved as you, but at the start I had over 6k kobans. I spent *all* my free tries and *all* my kobans trying to get octavia and got nothing. I'm glad I didn't spend money on it, and now it definitely reinforced the idea that doing so would be a really, really bad idea.
