Yeah, I have been speculating as to why they put it in -- the lag seems quite intentional, so what purpose does it actually serve?

New patch has definitely made these notifications less painful. Those of you who have "scripted them away" may want to see if you can live with the new normal.

Haven't had time to scan all the comments to see if already mentioned, but the other contest today is a bit "off" If I play Great one at a time for 10 games I would have 1,000 points after 10 plays (100x10), so the 1,200 for a 10X is good (an extra 200)... but if I do Epic one at a time, after 10 plays I would have 3,000 points (300x10)... so why would any sane person play 10X for only 1,800 (1.200 less) points?

I voted to make it a toggled option. Just curious, when, and what text are people seeing? For me so far, Tower of Fame fights, it said "Working Holiday" (and apparently giving me double the experience points). Adventure, it said "Contests" (also doubling the experience points).

I'm sure others have already said this -- I think the status/banner should be a toggled option similar to the "koban spending confirmation"

Actually, you DO win something from the extra arena wins. Since you accumulate mojo for wins, you gain in ranking which results in more awarded at the end of the week when they do the leaderboard rewards. A trivial amount, but still makes your statement incorrect.

More notes/input from a f2p player: I started with the following hoard: about 9k koban, 15k "money", 50 champion tickets, 180 energy (see below), and a couple dozen excess items to sell. I chose to make this more challenging by only going for the first set of girls (i.e., not spending 7200 koban until completely through). I finished with about five hours to spare. The hardest part was paying attention to each upcoming challenge and breaking from routine to wait for the right times to do things, like sell items and performing arena and tower battles. Before the event started I had been trying (yet again... 8th attempt) to beat Ryu to win his girl, so I only had half of the hoarded champion tickets I normally kept. One thing that helped me though -- because I had reached "edge"/last chapter of the haremverse a while ago, I had piled up close to 100 extra energy (I had around 180 at the start of this event), which allowed me to do three champion battles, and then I still had to use koban twice to get up to the total 80 battles. Also, doing the second arena/league challenge I spent koban to refill one time to do more league battles (not clear whether or not I would have finished in time otherwise). As I said, it wasn't until I was done that I spent my remaining koban for the other two girls. Slightly less painful thanks to the end-of-the-week leaderboard rewards, giving me enough extra koban that I had 2900 when done. I'm one those not a fan of these kinds of events, but I thought I would give this one a try anyway. I was able to finish mostly because I hoarded in anticipation AND being advanced enough in levels to have stood a chance. I remain not a fan, and next time will likely not do more than go for the first/easy girl (assuming next one is set up in a similar way).

The purpose of a "sequence" event is to have people use strategies different from the strategies you would use in a "pile up" type of event. Sequential will both require a bit of hoarding and is intentionally harder, requiring careful planning during the event.

One way to "weaken" your team is to pick girls that do not match the requisite sequence of positions (e.g., shuffling them around and/or using the "draft")

Sadly, you are definitely coming up short/below the average in this event. However, (as a non-paying player) I personally do not participate in these ever expecting to win the legendary girl(s) right off the bat... it is not unexpected to have to wait until they come around again many months later in order to get them to 100 affection. If I've been lucky and feel that I am doing better than average I will invest koban in a few reloads, but I am not too upset if I don't get one during the current "cycle".

It is interesting, the number of people reporting the 100-shard drops in this event. I too have been luckier than usual, winning girls twice in a row from the epic pachinko. I wonder if they are playing around with the percentages?

Yeah, me too. What is interesting is that energy stays the same (15/15) no matter how many battles I do. ADDED: unlike DvDivXXX, I do not get any error messages when I attack.

I will give you three clues: The valid tags are not the ones in the girls picture galleries The valid tags all have something to do with this game -- look for those that contain 'heroes', or 'hentai', or 'harem', or ... Read previous posts in this thread... there are even links to girls who have most of the tags

I assume by now you've figured out how to get the tags ("#-keyword" -- there are at least 10 of them). If not: you need to go look at the girls profiles/"About me" to find them. Two of the girls (SweeetNicolle and terry_benson) have most if not all them.

Finally got the girl (took several tries and a wait of almost an hour). None of the codes I have found work. I have gone to the linked "SweeetNicolle" and I see only one code (not the 10 others are claiming) and even that one did NOT work, and I've randomly looked at a few other girls and their codes were also all non-functional. In fact each time I try, I keep having to then wait an hour because I keep getting locked out for using invalid codes. WAY too frustrating to continue trying. UPDATE: I was using codes found in the girls "Picture Gallery"... like these Right after posting this, I found codes that worked in their "About Me". Silly me.

Some people have all the luck. Minimum for me has been four "runs". Matsuda took seven, and I just completed my seventh run on Ryu, still no girl.
