i have been playing this game for the same amount of time and never had this issue before including during the last event like this that they had when I had more unclaimed rewards than i did this time

Well this is garbage. Makes me want to put this game down forever. You would think that there would be some indication of what the issue is so that the player can take the appropriate actions to fix it instead of just leaving us in the dark about it.

Yea I want to know when this became a thing also. I have never had this issue before and now I can't complete the event that I spent the money on because it ends tomorrow

Is there any way to fix this or am I just out of luck now?

For 2 days now I have been trying to finish the steep where I need to get points in contests but they are not starting. the counter to next one just ended and now its telling me there is 23 hours till the next one starts and I cant get point towards the contests.
