Yeah....I most likely did a stupid rookie thing by using 10.000+ kobans on event pachinko. Well, at least they were all free. Paid for none, just hoarded/saved them. And at least I got 6 girls from it. I figured, what the heck, I never looked for the most efficient way of doing things so I just kept hitting that spend 1800 kobans button. I'll be trying to get Yuna Lola with combativity, but I doubt that will happen in 4 days. Only have 10/100 shards. But what the heck, I'll keep trying for kicks.

Well... With a little over 17 hours left in the event, so far I have acquired Clerk Delicia, Ice Cream Vendor Deniz, and will eventually recruit Lifeguard Octavia. Only have 43/100 shards for Neighborly Chamelia so I'd be surprised if I got the other 57 shards for her. But, overall, with my low expectations, another great event for me. Good luck everyone.

I hear you, Camuga, 125 items saved to sell. But ya got me beat on tickets. I used a few for in game cash so I'm down to 172. Now I just have to "tank" my Tower of Fame to drop a league.

Well said my fellow physician! I completely hear you. THE last concern of mine is also the drawing style. They are CARTOONS. We ain't talking about Picasso's or Rembrandt's or Monet's or Da Vinci's. But to get back on topic, is it just me or is Silvanus very stingy with the shard drops? Around 100 combativity used and only have 46/100 for Deniz. Or is that about the average drop rate?

And since I've been quite thankfully away from that stressful for shyte IT environment since 2007, I have unloaded and never used a TON of information from my brain. THE only thing I now use a PC for is to cruise the internet or play games. Nothing serious anymore. Thank you again, Zorba. for the information. My experience most likely confirms that. On day one I took a chance and ran up my points to 72,000. Because I knew I would not be up at the crack of dawn to defend my position. I wanted whoever was thinking of sniping, that they would have to spend a TON on kobans. I think THE only reason I acquired Filya by remaining in first place in my bracket is that the players below the top 4 spots were planing on sniping but forgot the contest ended 30 minutes earlier then usual.

I do not know how to get those images showing who was dropped. I just tried 5 epic orbs and got Arianne dropped.

I bet they think my answers are conflicting. I got the girl on the first day, probably because no one was able to snipe, otherwise I would have never got her on the first day. I like legendary events. But did I like this event......HELL NO. Wish they would go back to goal oriented event and not this players against players crap.

Yeah, this is nothing but a "sniping" contest. I ain't spending anymore on events like this. I'm in the wrong time zone to effectively compete and I sure as hell ain't getting up at the crack of dawn to acquire cartoons. I'll wait and see if there is a PoA type event at the end of July. An event I can plan for that has set goals. This type of event blows. Even though I acquired Filya, I think I got her just because anyone in my bracket gave up on sniping the 72,000+ points I accumulated. Either that or that contest ended early, like I heard it did.

So, Guys, would this be a correct assumption for a F2P gamer. During the month save anything and everything until the last event, be it a PoA or Legendary event? Save, cash, kobans, orbs, champion tickets, books, gifts, boosts, etc. Squirrel everything away so that you have a surplus of anything needed during PoA or Legendary? And to get this thread back on track.............Filya is HOT.

Sounds like my luck, Hvjkzv. I used many, many orbs getting just equipment for two months. And the last time when I went from 71 orbs down to 50 I picked up 3 girls. It seems to be feast or famine with the orbs.

I just remember waking up, seeing myself in 1st on the Legendary, and then immediately claiming the prize. I did not start running the Pachinko stage until after I claimed the prize. So, thank God the players in my bracket must have forgotten about that 30 minute reset time where the contest ends early. Otherwise there is no way I would have acquired the girl. I just hope we get back to the "normal" PoA events where we can plan ahead to get the girls as opposed to this fighting against each other crap.

The ONLY thing I can think of that may level out the playing field and prevent that last second sniping by players would be to end the contest at a randomly chosen time before the 24 hours are up. For example ending it anywhere from 30 minutes to 6 hours before the designated finish time. This would cause players to do what I did in the first stage of the event, to play right from the start and not wait until the last second. I played from the start, knowing that I would not be able to snipe at 3am, and ran my points up to 72,000+ in my bracket. I went to bed in first place and, to my surprise, ended in first acquiring the girl. So now, I'm just cruising for the next 4 days. Can't think of another way to level out the field so that F2P and sharks and whales have the same chance. As this contest is now it is heavily tilted in the favor of sharks and whales. The players like me, who are here just to relax and have fun have little to no chance. If I understand correctly the last stage of the event ended sooner then expected. Which would explain how I ended in first in my bracket. Normally, there is NO WAY I would have ended in first with my relaxed style of playing.

Yeah. I think the writing is on the wall, so to speak. If and when I get to that level that's loaded with spenders and sharks (players that look into every single detailed minutia of the game) and whales I'll most likely quit, as I'll find no fun having to work to have fun.

Ecchi, I consider myself a very laid back player with an EXTREMELY lazy playing style. I do not worry about the minutia that many players get concerned over. That being said I'm only level 264 after starting on Jan 1 of this year. I made sure that before the event that I was in Sexpert 1 in the Tower of Fame. I knew I would not be online to be able to snipe so I made the decision for this event to run, pedal to the metal, during the first day of the event. I drove my points up with the PvP part to 72,000+ with several refills before going to bed last night. When I went to sleep I was in 1st place in my bracket. I was hoping that when I woke up I'd be in the top 4 for the 100 shard drop. I woke up, logged in, and was STUNNED! I was still in first place and I managed to get the event girl Filya. My point, knowing my laid back style of play, if I was able to get the girl after 1 day, then I can honestly say that this event was not aimed at top tier players only. As I am DEFINITELY NOT a "Top Gun". I think the key is just being in the right tier at the right time. If I can get the girl on the first day, ANYONE can.

Reading all the above notes my F2P run will probably end when I reach above level 300. But, in the meantime I'll have fun and as soon as I get to a point where it feels like I'm just beating my head against a wall battling whales I'll move on to another online game. Man, am I glad I am NOT in the 400+ level bracket. Because the bracket I was in ,being only level 265, allowed me to blast thru the competition using the spare 1200+ kobans I had to reload and finish in 1st place acquiring the girl. It's all gravy from here, so I'm going back to bed, Greatest thing is there was no need to get up early. No one in my bracket even attempted to snipe the 72,000+ points I loaded up to discourage any sniping attempt.

It's sad but that's how most online games eventually devolve. Many may start with a great idea. Nicely balanced between F2P and Pay to Play gamers. But they ALL eventually give in to their greed and become pay to play sites. I can't blame the developers. Greed is just part of human nature. Heck, it's why they started the idea in the first place. They didn't develop it out of the goodness of their hearts and to make a fun game. They made it to make cash. I just wish I got in on the ground floor of this when it started way back when, instead of getting into that corporate grind hell hole I worked in. Best of luck to all in the event.

Slynia, what bracket is that? I 'm just asking to see what I can expect. I'm currently in a bracket where the top is at 33,000 for the daily competition. Glad I stayed in S1 in the tower of fame. Top in S1 is at 2074 pts. I'm also only level 264. It sounds like the higher in level you get and the higher in Tower of Fame brackets you get you start to run into MONSTER whale players.
