  1. Can we get the mojo system fixed? I don't know how they figure out mojo rewards, but they don't seem balanced. Its great they made it where 100 ish level players take on players closer to their level, but now the mojo rewards suck. For me, they went from average 17-18 mojo per win, to average 3-4 mojo per win. I would rather it go back to how it was. Sure, I was taking on players a lot higher level than me, but atleast the payoff was good. Now there is no way I will be able to make it through the reward tiers by the end of the season... even winning every single fight. Think about it: in terms of how challenging a match is, a 100 level person taking on on a person + or - 10 levels is like a level 400 person taking on a person + or - 40 levels. I feel the opponent level range and mojo rewards should reflect that. You cant just have the same flat level range of opponents regardless of a players level. There should be some kind of level range based on a percentage of a player's level. Also... I am tired of getting 3 opponents all about the same challenge (or often in my case, lack of challenge). What about something that allows you to choose a "challenge level" of opponents. Atleast that way you have the choice of taking higher risk, but getting higher rewards. If I want to take on someone 25% higher level than me... I want the option.
  2. Iv gotten 1st place in the last 2 contests, so I have been "active in the last 3 days"..... but I can not see the legendary contest for today. Anybody else get this?
  3. ya, I was thinking more recently. The devs used to put more on Edwarda back in 2017, and they even hit up Donatien once or twice, but they have been using Dark Lord, Ninja, and Grunt more in 2018. Edwarda has only had an event girl 3 times this year, and two of those times were "revivals" of early 2017 events. The other bosses I mentioned have all had event girls atleast 6 times this year (Dark Lord alot more than that), most of which were all new events, not revivals. I took that as maybe devs are not going to be using Edwarda as much anymore.
  4. Never farm all of the early boss's girls if you have a higher level boss as an option to farm. I learned early on that most event girls go to Dark Lord, Ninja, Grunt, and sometimes (not often) Edwarda. I waited to farm those bosses for girls until they have event girls.... that way while I am "rolling" to get an event girl drop I am also rolling for a boss-girl drop. If those are the only bosses you can fight then I guess go ahead (dont let combativity points go unused ).. So I guess it could be wrapped up to say fight the bosses with event girls, otherwise get all the boss-girls from Donatien or higher bosses first, then step back to the lower bosses for their boss-girls.
  5. Darn, that's a good question! I bet people with a lot of girls are wondering if they will be getting some kickback for spending all of that affection on that 75th common girl!
  6. This is an answer to this post and your other post about " in plain English." Follow these steps in order 1. Do you have either Levitya (Hardcore) or Norou (Knowledge) and they match your specialty? if YES, upgrade their level and affection as much as possible 2. Have you ever gotten a girl from playing EPIC PACHINKO that matches your specialty? if YES, upgrade their level and affection as much as possible. (NOTE: there is a link to a stats google sheet in Jessie Chan's patch notes post. Go to that and sort the girls from Z to A in the column that matches your specialty, then pick the girls highest on the list). 3. level the experience (NOT THE AFFECTION) of any girl that matches your specialty, starting with the ones that are 5 star. (NOTE: there is a link to a stats google sheet in Jessie Chan's patch notes post. Go to that and sort the girls from Z to A in the column that matches your specialty, then pick the girls highest on the list). 4. leave everything alone, it's about to get cheaper! SORRY, I originally read the patch notes to mean that the amount required for each level 1 thru 5 was the ADDITIONAL amount that would be needed to reach the next level in affection. If the numbers listed in the patch are the final total amounts required then my advice would be do not touch any affection on anybody.
  7. So it says "between the 28th and 31st of March". So does that mean we have until 12:01 AM on Saturday the 31st, or until 12:01 AM on Sunday the 1st of April to get the legendary girl?
  8. Even though I WAS at the top of the tower before the reset, I understand that it does help out new players. The problem is now we are stuck fighting only people that the "arena matcher" chooses. Why do I want to consistently fight people that are close to my level and get 5 mojo for a win, when I can select and beat people WAY above my level who are higher mojo than me and get 32 mojo per fight? I understand that maybe they do it that way so higher levels dont just pick on lower levels, but all they had to do was put in the selection process something that didn't allow you to pick someone on the tower who was lower level than you to fight..... problem solved. It would add more competition to pvp that way because people at the top would not be able to gain mojo as fast as people at the bottom... holding the top positions would take more work.
  9. Resetting the tower is complete crap for those of us who have worked hard to climb and are still active. Instead, I am suggesting a degradation system be used. If a person goes 1 day without fighting on the tower, they lose 32 mojo per day. The amount lost per day doubles for each consecutive day without fighting on the tower. After a week of not fighting, they will be losing over 2000 mojo per day. After a couple weeks, they will be at the bottom of the ladder. Eventually, anybody who is no longer active in the game but is still on the tower will find themselves falling off the ladder very quickly, but those that are still active will not be penalized. I guess this could be capped a bit so that people who maybe only log on every couple weeks to see if more story has been added will not be hit too hard.
  10. Hi, this is #105 in the world giving a thumbs up to your post Actually I made it to 99 while only being level 30, but slipped this week due to spending all combativity on bosses for event girls, and I dont fight arena (my goal was to get as high as I could on the tower while remaining as low a level as I could). WAY to much time doing THOUSANDS of tower battles instead of winning contests and getting kobans. WAY too much time trying to figure out how combat works so I could beat people on the tower that were twice my level. And my reward for all my effort is an amount that is less than I spend on great pachinko during a single gambling contest. Atleast if they paid me in kobans I could get girls from epic pachinkos.
  11. hehe, back off of it now... started spending combativity on boss fights for the event girls... will probably slide down a few until I get the girls. ...Some people just climb regardless... but then they miss out on the girls!
  12. Something fishy about this diaz from the tower. Somehow they have all legendary equipment equal to their level, meaning they have either done thousands upon thousands upon thousands of great pachinkos, or a ton of epic pachinkos....... yet they leave their alpha at 6 levels below theirs? Who does that? Not to mention they have been "playing" since January 2017. I smell a BOTified inactive player.
  13. Thanks for the comment Habi. Ya, that changes the math if I am counting possible boss fights over the first few hours. It still doesn't change the math much over the distance of 2 or 3 days of the contest though, because after they spend those initial 20 battle points, they are then still capped at 1 more boss fight per 20 mins (the amount of time it takes to accumulate 2 battle points). So the number of possible boss fights a person can make in a day (assuming they do not spend kobans, sleep, etc, hehe) is roughly the same. Ya, I guess at higher levels people may be using more kobans to refill. I have never had to spend kobans to get the event girl drops, but I don't have that many girls yet.
  14. Does anybody know the math breakdown on this? Just trying to figure out how many more levels I need to get to have higher max combativity points.
  15. Thanks for the info. I have never found this before.... same country same name. That makes it even worse. Now there is no way to be sure of the level of the people in my group. Usually I check it with numbers as well... most boss fights someone can do is 6 (assuming they had full bar), then 3 for each hour after that. I saw that (what I believe to be a level 76 guy) with over 1200 points in less than 3 hours after contest started... just from killing bosses. He was getting 80 or more per fight. Thanks for the info again.
  16. Ya I know. I actually commented on this topic in another post. More than one person can have the same name, but only if they are from different countries. In my initial post.. I know I had the right person.. I always check the name AND the capitalization AND the country of the person when I search the tower of fame. I also check capitalization, because it might matter. And yes, at 76th level he would have way more points cus he is fighting higher level bosses. That was the reason for the comment. It is a waste of time to be doing boss fights for 40 contest points, when someone can spend the same amount of combativity points fighting bosses and get 3 or 4 times as many contest points for it.
  17. They should be on the tower of fame if they are in your contest group. Realize 2 things when searching... (1) two people can have the same name if they are capitalized differently, and (2)two people can have the EXACT same name if they are from different countries. So when searching people make sure you capitalize right and look at both towers, the one for global and the one for your country. I do a lot of searches, and I have ALWAYS found a name, but sometimes it has not been who I searched for because they are from a different country than the person I was searching for.
  18. I think the worst part of the donation things is because of the level disparity in contest groups. I have been in contests recently with people that are 70 levels above me. I can pretty much guarantee donating 1mil for me is much more of a sacrifice than him donating 1mil because he will have WAY more girls than me.
  19. Is this correct? Contest just started 1.5 hours ago. Guy in second place is level 33. Guy in 1st place is level 76. I'm level 10! Sounds fair I guess. Don't need to waste combativity points on this one!
  20. Ya, I don't do leveling races. I was just pointing out that some of the contests get messed up when they put people against each other who vary greatly in level because the higher level player has more money to spend, more girls to give experience and level, etc. In the "Eternal Rivalry" contest arena fights don't count... only boss fights. That contest can just be a waste. I can spend all my "combativity points" fighting the dark lord, while a 40th level person can get spend the same amount of combativity points and get 3 times as many contest points as I can. So now I am just watching the points, and if I see someone getting more points in an hour than I can... I just quit the contest and spend my combativity points on tower fights or leveling. Problem is.... they may wait until I have went through 60 boss fights building contest points, then they come back and beat me doing by 20 boss fights and getting 3 times as many contest points for it. I would rather it be that whoever invests the most amount of time, effort, cash (if all the players are about the same level), kobans, etc. on the game they win the contest. Makes me want to stop doing a lot of the contests. I agree on the bigger groups with increased rewards, I just think they need to adjust the scaling of the group level variation a lot. As I stated earlier... a 20 level difference may not be a lot if the fight is between a 110th level and 130th level, but it means a lot if it is against a 10th level and a 30th level. By the way, sorry for the long posts. I get into this too much, hehe.
  21. Ya, but I think it has gotten even worse since last week when they changed the rewards and the scaling. Before last week I could get into a contest and had a decent chance of winning (basically if I played more than the others I got 1st place). I occasionally got 2nd place to someone who was just leveling like a madman within the contest period and was able to get up to higher bosses, gain more than 1 or 2 girls, etc. After last week it just got crazy. I wasted a lot of "resources" chasing people I could never catch up to. In fact in the last contest period the guy who took the contest "Hard Training" .... he ended with 88,000....... not sure how he did that in 2 days (figure 5000 per new girl and 1140 for each time you level one up), but figured it was possible if he leveled a lot, got the world girls, managed to get VERY, VERY, VERY lucky on boss drops for event girls, and had a ton of cash to level the girls.
  22. In the last set of contests (that finished yesterday), I was doing the "Eternal Rivalry" contest. I had trouble keeping up with the top two guys in the group (by group I mean the set of players I was competing against). It was 3 days long, so I was able to do the math and found that the top player was averaging atleast 80 points a fight (Gruntt). I am only level 10, and the best I could fight was Dark lord for 40. I also believe the second place guy was getting more points... but he was more sporadic so it was hard to tell. When the newest contest batch came out (started yesterday), another "Eternal Rivalry" contest started. Within 3 hours of the start of the contest, the top guy had over 1000 points and the second place guy had 900. I checked the top 10 names and found them on the tower of fame. The top 10 were an average of 20 levels above me (30th level). Is there this much variation at all levels? That is like 100th level players being grouped with 50s and 150s (or larger). How are groupings made? Does it go by hours played? If so I have just killed myself cus this game is almost always running in the background when my computer is on. If it is just a standard number no matter what, like 0-40, 41-80, 81-120, etc... then the devs should adjust it so that the ratio changes the higher the level. Otherwise, it just isn't fair for lower levels, cus the level difference has more of an impact.
  23. So, saw this post. I will state (100%) that the second calendar shown in this thread... that little symbol in the upper right corner after the T in "KOBAN CONTEST" IS the symbol for Discord. So I am guessing the contest is as someone stated earlier... a contest within the Discord channel for the game.
