I guess, this depends on the case - namely the blessings and which girls you've skilled. Sometimes it's enough to temporarily drop the girl equipment (for G5 girls in your top 7). This works for me this week.

Was not able to repeat. Looks like there's something else into it. Verified the opponent teams skills from mid first floor onwards. This time all the checked opponent teams got two G5 skilled girls - always at same positions (one in front row and one at back). Seems as the opponent G5 skills were decided very early on. Sadly, couldn't even finish the run. The last boss girls had 73k - 76k defense and most of my girls were not able to do any damage.

Yes, looks that way. Tried out and got zero G5 skills for last boss. As a result, first hard labyrinth finish without using stones 💪. Was close though, had only 15 girls left.

Meant EV as expected value. So 41 EPx1 orbs per girl instead of expected 25 or so, which is bad.
And no I don't buy orbs, who does...

Took me 409 EPx1 to get ten drops. So quite a bit worse than the EV.

Yeah, it's rough when there are four active players for the last two spots. Would have settled for top15, if knew beforehand. But since already committed (800k) before the last minutes, had to follow through. Also, missed the girl so that's a bonus.

Yes, the girl counts herself. As in Ravi's virgo team example Elder Magnus Bianca is 7x1% herself included.

My intuition was to build the team firstly around the blessings. Surely, you won't skip double-blessed girls, right? I'm missing most of the top girls for next week. The best I could do is shown below. Janine and Maki are double-blessed and others only single. If you have all the bulbs in the world, this team gets 22% Atk boost, with my bulbs only 17%.
The trade-off is 49k team power for missed 23.6% Atk Boost. Pretty sure the virgo team performs better. So let's go with that instead.
Other thing I'm often wondering is how valuable is the 5th shield level (M6 vs. L5). In other words, how much team power or Atk boost is OK to trade. Any thoughts on this?

Missing the lightbulbs and XP hurts. Also, the CbC had a really nice pacing for the week. And once you mastered the contests the event was maybe the best one.

Below my stats (since August 14th 2022) after using 1886 1xEP orbs. Was lucky with the DD event today, 228 orbs for 10 hits. On the other hand, hit the same 2 event girls I've been working on. Need two more DD events for clearing the pool.

Below my stats (since August 14th 2022) after using 5685 1xMP orbs. The drop rate per girl varies a lot. Currently going trough my worst run so far, 505 orbs without a girl 😭

Finished 10th chilling myself.
The level gap increase means that the top4 is now out of reach for me. Have been competing now in D3 for 42 weeks and reached the top4 13 times. Basically, this has been the only achievable goal that kept me motivated to play the game. I'll still probably play the league for a couple of weeks just to get a feeling how it plays out. Anyway, I'll shift my focus elsewhere.
Edit: Was actually nice to compare my own progress with Ravi-Sama and Liliat. We all had kinda similar power level. Personally, chose not to use AMEs and full cordys for maximum performance. Left those tries after I'd get my attack gear sorted out. Unfortunately, waited for too long.

Yeah, they could/should have split the level gap increase into several instances, say 100 level at the time. Then disadvantage would start from 100 levels and would start to decrease until the next bump. Now the disadvantage lasts in practice forever.

Well, I think it depends on where you are on the league food chain. On the very top you kinda have to match with the competition. Then part of the group spends heaps of kobans to get good gear and the others must follow. Otherwise, you are on disadvantage. But all depends on where your goals are - for top15 not a big deal (at the moment).

I'm in chill mode and aiming for top15 these days. Basically, not competitive at the moment - opponents have full attack MG sets and myself don't have even matching class for all the slots. Also, the MGE hunt didn't start very well. Not a single mythical drop yet.

Here's more recent shot (last minute). In this league top4 required 21.84 average (compared to your 21.22).
As for myself, best placement (22.38 average) so far thanks to marcel and Saber chilling this week.

Seems it's all about RNG. Was lucky and got to the end today (free path only). Didn't have to replace any of the tasks. In practice, got all my points from the hard tasks. The easier was mostly stuck at "Finish Daily Missions". Got three of those.
Had to use some kobans (8x market restock) and reward reserves (~500 gems, 35k exp, 15 Pantheon worships, 360 girl shards + kisses) which I would normally save for contests. Basically 336 kobans for L5 girl + AME.Below summary of the relevant tasks.
Potential blockers:
- 3x Finish daily missions (24h)
- 2x Daily goal chests (24h)
- 3x PoP (7h)Other potentially problematic:
- 2x Lust potions (depends on PoV cycle)
- 3x Market restock
- 3x Use gems
- 3x Use XP
- 3x Use Pantheon worships
- 3x Contest points

Drop rate 5.39% - one of my worst runs.
Ended up buying 560 CP (~6.0k kos). Pantheon rewards (~1.5k kos) helped a lot.-

First top4 finish.
Used mostly 1cor,2gin and 1x 3cor (partial)
Def teams 163k & 181k (competition 165k & 185k)
Had strong teams both halves and easy league. So the starting point looked promising. However, top4 came as a surprise. Also most profitable league run so far as didn't spent much - just one refill.There's not too much into it really. OK, the mythical gear helps. I feel the player level becomes a non-factor once you have a full set - at least for the top15. Have three pieces upgraded so far myself. So on par with the average D3 field but behind the top contenders.
I treat the top4 finish as a fluke and going forward will continue playing for the top15.

Got Claudia - dom ⚫ element is go for me. Drop rate 5.88%.
Could have been expensive recruitment. However, the 10% CP discount (~750 kos) and Pantheon rewards (~1k kos) helped a lot. Ended up buying 700 CP (~6.8k kos).-

Wise choice, I think. The winner had 6x myth gear 3 hours into the league. 4 with matching primary and +8% attack bonus from get-go.
Edit: Rephrased the last sentence. Obviously, matching class doesn't mean attack bonus automatically.

Do we know how the offered relics are decided? Got today my first duck master run, which resulted fighting a lot of battles with the same team. Two of my girls got three girl specific relics each plus one relic for an other girl (seven total). I think I've never got so many. Maybe it's just a one of. Do you see more girl specific relics when fighting with same team (duck master run)?
